Nefas took the cup that was being held out for her and looked down into it to see the contents. It didnt look appealing, like hot dirt water. Browny beige colour. She looked up at Sarah with a scrunched up nose. "This is actually drinkable ?" She questioned as she looked back down into the cup.

Nefas put the cup to her lips and took a sip. She blinked contemplating. Then nodding she took another sip. "This is actually rather enjoyable!" She said in an almost excited tone. Almost. She downed the whole contents of the hot beverage. Heat didnt really get to Nefas the way it does to humans, she is after all from the hottest place ever known. She also seemed to radiate heat, so where ever she went it was rather a nice cosy warm.

She smiled slightly looking at her cup then held it out to Sarah. "I would like another!...Whats that human phrase for being polite...." She thought and racked her brain as she recalled some lesser demons talking one day about how humans said 'please' and 'thank you' ... Demons did not have need for these words unless speaking to someone of authority, however apparently humans said it to anyone and everyone regardless of rank. "Err... Please?...That is the correct word you humans use am I correct?" She asked raising a brow slightly.

Sarah couldn't help but smile; for the daughter of the devil, Nefas was almost like a little child: every new thing excited her. It was fun... if not still a bit strange. When she said please, Sarah's smile grew even wider. "That's the word," she told her, "and thank you for being so polite about it. Yes, you may have another cup." She took Nefas's mug back and poured some more tea in it, returning it to her quickly and still with a smile. "There you go! If you want any more, the kettle's still about half full, so feel free to get as much as you like." With that, she returned to her seat and placed her own cup of tea beside her - it was still too hot for her to drink. That, however, is when she finally did notice how warm the room was becoming. After another moment, she realized the heat was coming from Nefas. She stood and stepped closer; sure enough, it got even warmer the closer she got to Nefas.

"Wow, you're really hot," she told her. Then her face turned every shade of red imaginable as she realized what she'd just said. "I-I mean, warm! Like- Like body temperature, you know? Y-Y-You're radiating heat is what I meant, not that you're-" She stopped again. "I-I mean, not to say you're not attractive - you totally are, and-" Her face turned even redder. "I- I mean- You're-" She simply sputtered until she was just standing there with a beet-red face, not saying any more for fear of further digging herself into this already embarrassing situation. Finally, she simply turned back to her chair and sat down, the heat radiating from her face almost as hot as the heat radiating from Nefas. Way to go, Sarah. Way to go.

As Nefas took the second cup from Sarah she downed it almost instantly. She really enjoyed this tea. When she eventually went home, she would have to make her father get some in for her. It was delicious. She blinked in surprise at the 'hot' comment then pursed her lips together as she attempted not to laugh as Sarah just fell flat on her face over her words. "I apologise if it is uncomfortable for you, it isnt something I can just turn off... One of the perks of being a demon child from hell I guess... You never get cold." She said with a small smirk on her lips now.

She stood and made her way over to Sarah who had her back to her now. Gently Nefas leaned over Sarahs shoulder and snaked her arm around her neck to her cheek and softly pushed Sarahs head to face her own. "Does it make you too hot under the collar? Sarah?" She whispered as her face was mere inches away from the blondes now. "You are very pretty you know that?" She said softly. "You would make a fine Succubus." She said, again with a smirk.

"Sounds, uh, nice..." she muttered, still blushing and facing her desk, desperately wishing a hole would open in the floor and swallow her for a few hours or so. Naturally, however, the floor stubbornly remained solid and hole-less. She sighed as she tried to focus on her work again, which proved very difficult as two very warm and smooth arms suddenly encircled her and turned her to be face-to-face with Nefas, who was standing very close to her right now. She felt her heart hammering in her chest, and she couldn't tell if it was fear, or... something else.

"You... think so?" she asked, still blushing terribly. Sarah had always been teased as a child about how she looked, and although she now knew logically that it had just been simple teasing, she was still very insecure about her appearance. "Um, thanks, I guess... You, uh, you look really pretty yourself." At this point, her mouth felt like it was moving without any conscious thought from her, but being told by a demoness that one would make a good Succubus was... not something she was used to, to put it lightly. So, she was responding in the only way she knew how: babbling nervously like an idiot and hoping she didn't make a fool of herself. "I've... never actually met a Succubus, so I... guess I'll just have to take your word for it. Eheheheh..."

Wow, she was getting hot. Was all that coming from Nefas? Somehow, she kind of didn't think so.

Nefas chuckled slightly at the blondes now very red face. "You are even cuter when you're all red and blushing like that." She said in almost a seductive tone. Almost. Nefas looked over Sarahs face, her dark eyes scanning every inch of it. Then she stared deeply into her green eyes, like she was staring into her very soul. This human was very attractive and from what she has read of her mind, she is very sweet and sincere. This is not something Nefas has ever come to cross paths with before. After all, demons are far from sincere and sweet. It was a nice change. She also enjoyed how the blonde seemed to trip over her own words and just ramble. It was nice.

"Perhaps one day, I shall take you to meet some of my friends. One of them is a Succubus." She said softly, she meant it in a nice way. Not in a 'Ill take you to my lair and my friends and I shall feast on your bones' kinda way. Nefas thought she was being nice, in her own weird demoness way of course, but nice all the same. Whether Sarah took it that way was another matter however.

Ohhhhhh, it was definitely getting hotter in there, and she especially felt it on her face, which continued to grow redder. Sarah felt herself sinking into her chair, though her eyes were locked on Nefas's. She let out a little more nervous laughter, feeling rather like a chipmunk under the eyes of a falcon. "Um... Y-Yeah! That sounds, um... fun?" she responded, not quite sure of how she could take the invitation. It hadn't sounded like a death threat, but seeing as this was the Princess of Hell, who was she to judge the meaning?

She was also growing increasingly uncomfortable beneath the woman's piercing - though not unkind - gaze. "So, uh, hey! Here's a thought: it's almost time for supper! You, um, wanna... go somewhere to eat or something?" She paused, then quickly added, "I-I'll buy, of course!" Did demons even use money? Either way, it probably wasn't a good idea to try to tell a demoness to pay for her own meal. "There's - oh, let's see - there's, uh... a really nice Italian place nearby, or we could go out for hamburgers! Interested?" She was speaking in more fast, hurried tones - if she didn't get out from under Nefas's gaze soon, she was afraid she'd pass out from the sheer heat she felt in her face at the moment.

Nefas chuckled. She could tell the blond was getting nervous the longer she stayed this close to her. Nafas backed off from her. Still looking into her eyes though.

She raised a brow at the offer of food. Nefas nodded "I will try anything you are in the mood for. I don't feel hunger or thirst. They are merely desires I want to try. So whatever your taste buds are tingling for I will be happy with." She said with a smile. It was a kind smile for Nefas though to others it makes her look slightly unhinged. She hasn't ever had to convey emotions through her face before so its not natural for her. In hell people didn't talk much.

It was with visible relief that Sarah sagged into her seat at Nefas finally stepped away. She still couldn't seem to tear her eyes away from that gaze, though. "In- In that case, let's go get some burgers," she suggested, her speech steadily returning to normal. "It's cheaper, and money's a little tight for me right now." She used to work as an assistant in the library here, but they'd dismissed her for reading on the job. Normally, that wouldn't be worth dismissing someone over, but even Sarah had to admit that reading for six of the eight hours in a shift was probably not one of her wisest ideas.

She glanced down at her assignment. If the Princess didn't get hungry, there was probably no need to rush. "Tell you what: give me about 15 minutes to finish this up, then we can head out. It's pretty close to campus, so..." Hm. Actually, how would they get there? Normally, she just rode her bike, but there wasn't room for two on it. "Do you have a bike?" she asked. "Or, well, rather, do you even know what that is? No offense!" she added suddenly. "I just, y'know, if you haven't been here before..." She stopped before she dug herself into any further holes. "Actually, nevermind. We can just walk."

Nefas chuckled at her stammers. "Walking is good." She said, softly. Normally she'd just teleport, but seeing as she has ho idea where this burger place is, it would be pointless to do so, she's be teleporting all around the city. which reminded Nefas. Where exactly in the world was she?

As the girls began to walk down the streets of this place she looked at the blonde once more. "Where exactly in the world am I?" She asked curiously. Nefas had the ability to speak every in every tongue, but people move around a lot so she could be anywhere. She looked around her surroundings as they walked, she knows very little of the human world, so she had no clue.

After a quick scramble to finish her assignment, Sarah was escorting Nefas down the street. Just casually walking to a burger joint with the alleged daughter of Satan. Nothing strange about that, she thought to herself. Only after did she remember that Nefas could read minds (which she still found to be completely unfair) and she made an effort to restrain her thoughts. "This?" she responded. "This is Phoenix City. Nothing too special, I guess; it has just about everything a regular city would have. Specifically, we're on my campus: Ivy University. It's not the best campus, but it's pretty nice. There's a library, a cute coffee shop - oh, we can go there sometime if you still want to try coffee - and a lot of really nice classrooms."

"Where we're going, The Burger Shop, is about fifteen minutes' walks from here," she continued. The Burger Shop was a new chain that had opened just recently, but it was already getting major business. The food was all really cheap, but it tasted amazing - basically a college student's utopia. Sarah didn't go often, but she always enjoyed it when she did. "Hmm... I guess since it's your first time trying any of our food, you should probably just go with a basic combo: a burger, some fries, and a soda. I recommend the Cheerwine," she added with a grin. Cheerwine was her favorite.

Nefas listened to the girls thoughts and it made her smile. 'Alleged.' she thought giggling a little. In time she would show her, her true powers. Maybe if she gets back on talking terms wither her father, invite him to Sarahs apartment for a cup of tea so she can meet him. 'That certainly would be an interesting sight to see... My father drinking tea.' Nefas thought, laughing a little once again.

She turned her attention back to Sarah. "...Soda? ... Soda, as in what I drank at your home? Soda, as in what fizzed up and came out of my nose?" Nefas looked at Sarah with a slightly concerned look, not for Sarah but for herself. How was she supposed to drink that stuff?! It just fizzed up and came out of her nose and she choked on it... It also made her look silly. She was not keen on looking silly, especially in front of others.

"Ah, right," Sarah said, giggling. "Well, they have tea there as well, so you can get that instead if you like." The thought of someone from Hell faltering at the thought of something as casual as drinking soda just made her giggle. Still, even in what small amount of time they'd been together, Nefas had been less of a terrible, soul-sucking demon and more of a very odd girl with a very open curiosity. Sarah smiled slightly; maybe living with her wouldn't be all that terrible after all.

Still, it was probably unwise to lower one's guard around a demon.

"Here we are," she finally said after a bit more walking. She pulled the door open and held it for Nefas, waving her inside and stepping in after her. The Burger Shop, with its name emblazoned above the doors, was a smaller building than most fast food places, since most of its tables were outside (there was a large tarp that could be pulled out in case of rain). Even so, the inside looked surprisingly well-kept. Richard, one of the managers, was a graduate of Ivy University, so students got a discount. Their menu was displayed above the front counter, offering all kinds of delicious and definitely not nutritious choices. Because it was later afternoon, but not quite supper time, there was only one other person in line.

"See anything in particular you're interested in?" Sarah asked. She always got a chicken sandwich meal with tea, so she already knew what she wanted.

Nefas looked at Sarah, then at the board, then back at Sarah. There was a lot of things to choose from and she wasnt quite sure what to go for, she had never had any of it before. "Err... I'll just have whatever you're having." She said with a crooked smile. She had no idea what any of these food items were so, she would just trust Sarah in this department.

As Sarah ordered the food, Nefas looked around herself, taking in her surroundings more now she wasnt staring at a board full of choices. It was rather a nice little place. Clean, tidy and the staff seemed... happy? They were smiling anyway. Nefas wondered if Sarah had eaten another human. Was this a thing people did? I mean, demons ate other demons sometimes, and demons ate humans... demons eat anything really, though they dont NEED to they WANT to. Nefas had tried human once, it wasnt bad actually. Quite nice. It was a treat her father brought her once after his time in this world. He always brought her trinkets when he went away.

When they sat down to their food Nefas watched what Sarah did and copied. She wanted to make sure she was eating things properly. As she took a bite into her chicken burger a look of pleasure came across her face as her taste buds were having a party. This was good food. As she ate she watched Sarah, then she had to ask. "Have you ever eaten another human before?" Nefas asked curiously, as she took a sip of her tea.

Smiling, Sarah ordered two chicken sandwich meals (with fries, of course!) and tea to drink. Once she had everything, she led Nefas over to a table and sat down, eagerly digging into her waiting food. It had been a while since she'd gone anywhere with someone like this, even if the situation was... unique. Even so, it was nice to have some company for a change; eating alone was nice too, of course, but Sarah did enjoy the occasional meal with someone.

Nefas's sudden question, however, ruined the mood entirely as Sarah choked on her tea in shock.

"Have I *cough*... Have I ever what?!" she exclaimed, doing her best not to shout (though the cashier did turn to give her an odd look). "Of course not! Humans... Humans don't do that!" After a moment, she added, "Well, most of us don't. We call that cannibalism, and it's... bad." She supposed she should have expected subjects like that if Nefas really was a demoness, but still, the sheer casualness of Nefas's tone had thrown her completely. "I... No, I've never done that. And to be honest, I have absolutely no intention of ever doing so." She looked at Nefas for a few seconds. "And you shouldn't either."

She fully realized it was stupid to attempt to control a demoness's behavior, but if Nefas tried to eat anybody, Sarah would have to try to stop her. And I really don't wanna get eaten myself, she thought to herself, not really caring if Nefas heard that or not.

She raised a brow at her as she seemed... irritated? Annoyed? Angry? She Nefas didn't understand why. "But, why? Why is it bad to eat a human? I have eaten it...It isn't bad, bit chewy though." She said recalling her experience with this meat. "Don't worry Sarah, I wont eat you, we Demons don't actually need to eat. We just want to... We are curious creatures." She stated softly as she picked up her tea and sipped it.

Nefas continued to eat her food, while she watched around herself at the people living their daily lives. Some young humans over in the corner being loud and obnoxious, throwing food. She frowned, Are all young people like this? Sarah isn't, but she isnt in a pack, she is by herself. Well... With me, but do two count as a pack? I don't think so... Maybe this is a pack thing. Pack? Do they call them packs? Gatherings? Unit? Group? Hmm, I'll go with pack. I'm losing my point. Nefas often spent a lot of time in her mind and often it was thinking about pointless things.

"It's wrong because most people don't want to be eaten," she answered, dipping a fry in ketchup before popping it into her mouth. "And since there's no need to eat them, we shouldn't do it." Sarah continued to regard her curiously, the shock of the question having passed. A woman who'd just spontaneously appeared in her life who happened to be the daughter of Satan, and yet here they were carrying on a casual (if somewhat disturbing) conversation and sharing a simple meal together. The thought made her smile, if only for the complete weirdness of it all.

Sarah followed Nefas's gaze to the group in the corner. When she saw them, she frowned as well. "P.K.A.," she explained. "Phi Kappa Alpha, our campus's biggest fraternity." She realized Nefas might not know that word, so she went into detail. "A fraternity is like a large group of guys who hang out a lot and do things like parties and drinking. Most of them aren't bad, but these guys are..." She searched for a term. "less restrained than the others. They do things like this all the time. Just ignore them."

Nefas continued to gaze over at the rowdy...fraternity "They resemble a group of monkeys, throwing around their faeces... " She stated, kinda like David Attenborough does when he's narrating animal programmes. "What sorts of things do these humans do?" She asked curiously, sipping her tea as she finished her burger. "Why do they throw their food around... humans need food, so why waste it? I do not understand." She said looking confused at Sarah.

Sarah simply shrugged. "Who knows?" she answered. "Guys are stupid like that. As for what they do..." She had to sigh at all the images that began flashing through her head. "They drink, get really drunk, blast really lousy music on full volume, have a lot of sex, and eventually get the cops called on them. They do a lot of other stupid things, too, but..." She shook her head again. "I'd rather not get into those." She took a sip of her tea.

"Some of the worst things they do are the pranks, though. They've done all kinds of horrible things around campus, especially to the girls. Everything from stealing makeup to dumping garbage cans on top of them. They once used photoshop - that's a computer program that can alter pictures - to create fake nudes of this one girl and then posted them all over campus. It got so bad that she had to drop out!" Sarah herself had been the victim of a few smaller pranks already, but nothing compared to doing something like that. "And they never get in real trouble, because Greg's dad - Greg is the leader - pays the school a whole lot of money every year, so they always get off with a warning, no matter how bad it is." Glaring at them a moment longer, she finally shook her head and turned back to Nefas, good mood clearly having evaporated completely. "I can't stand them. They give people in general a bad name."

Nefas nodded as she listened to Sarah, drinking her own tea as she did. Once Sarah had finished and seemed to really hate these people, Nefas could read her thoughts of course so she knew what these people had personally done to her.

Nefas pondered momentarily as she went over what Sarah had said in her mind...Her hatred towards these people. Then before she even realised it her mouth started saying things "I can kill them for you, if you'd like?" She said kindly but rather surprised at herself. For Nefas, that was almost a flirt. If she wanted to kill someone, she would do so because she wanted to... not as a favour to some human she had only just met. She was Lucifer's daughter for Hells sake she doesn't need to propose ideas to someone else...she can just go a head and do them! However, so far she liked Sarah and would be quite happy to dispose of people for her.

Sarah nearly spat her drink out. "K-Kill them?!" she repeated, trying very hard not to shout. "No, I don't want you to kill them! That would be horrible!" They were major jerks, sure, but killing them? That was taking things way too far!

...Although... whispered a devious little monster in her brain.

Killing them was out of the question, no ands, ifs, or buts about it. However, the darker parts of Sarah's mind began to churn out a tiny sliver of an idea, until eventually, even her best morals couldn't drown it out. Here she was, sharing a meal with the apparent princess of Hell itself. She didn't want to kill them, but...

"But..." she whispered, an unfamiliar and wicked glint in her eyes, "maybe something else? Like... I don't know, something to embarrass them or really freak them out?" No matter who you were, if you weren't in PKA, you were probably against them. And Sarah was most definitely against them. And after everything they'd ever gotten away with, surely just a little bit of payback would be justified, right?

Some tiny part of Sarah's brain wondered if Nefas was having an effect on her, but its tiny voice went unnoticed. Ideas like this were surprisingly hard to ignore.
