I've popped into the chatroom a few times but I figured I'd make myself known here. I'm likely going to be playing the Hightowers, since they're in an interestingly difficult position at this time

I should have a sheet up tomorrow.

Is this open still?

If so, could I make my own house or is it canon houses only?

Still open. You can make your own house, though canon houses seem the better way to go to me.

Ahh, I missed you guys. I know I've been the worst participant in these games EVER, but I will be reading because the quality this series has brought out of you guys has always been phenomenal. I shall be reading. :D

Thanks!

Would it end up being too complicated if I were to play small relations / non-significant characters to the Hightowers? My current knowledge on Game of Thrones is limited, and I'm also uncertain about my 'writing ability' pertaining to the amount of collaboration and politics that have been highlighted to be involved.

So, at the moment I don't trust myself to play the role of a House or significant faction itself -- and the Hightowers are definitely the most appealing lore-wise, for me, at least in the sense of working with someone. I guess what I'm trying to ask is, could I play a handful of non-significant characters shadowing the Hightowers or those sworn to them?

It's an awkward question I guess. I just feel that it'd be easier for me to play a small part in this while working with someone who overlooks their respective House/House-members/faction.

If it's alright with the DM (or whatever the equivalent is), it's alright for me.

I'm going to be getting up to quite a bit of shenanigans from the get-go, so I'd actually appreciate someone to help out with political intrigues and whatnot.

I'm going to be updating the sheet I've posted above overtime with more detailed descriptions of the more important characters of my house.

I'm fine with it, and I think Ruby will be as well but I'll let her speak for herself :).

In any case, an fyi, I'll be scarce the next two/three days since I'm visiting my sister. I'll be back by Sunday/Monday. Off to a great start so far, keep it up all of you! :)

So, I was considering taking on the role of Willis Fell. Judging by the timeline, he would currently be at Storm's End (the House his family is sworn to), and protecting Aegon II remaining child. Just wanted to ask if this would be okay with everyone.

We're at 132 AC, not at 130 AC - the year in which the Fall of King's Landing took place. As such I find it unlikely Ser Willis Fell should remain at Storm's End with Aegon II's child, Jaehaera. Why would he stay there for two years, even after her father reclaimed the capital? Ser Willis would be at King's Landing, as would the princess, together with the other Kingsguard.

There are two options: 1) Ser Willis joins the Kingsguard who declare for Aegon III (who is by rights the king), or 2) Ser Willis ignores everything the greens fought for (a male heir) and spirits the princess away, going rogue.

You're more than welcome to pick him up though.

I've given a bit of detail on Lord Tyland, let me know if it's sufficient or if more will be needed.

God damn. A new GoT rp? I'm up for it!

EDIT: Also noting the guild got some serious updates in the past five months.

EDIT2: Those little summaries you've written at the end of your posts in the IC will be mighty handy in the future, Sini. May be a good thing for more people to pick up, unless someone is willing to write up summaries of events further down the road.

My thought was to avoid repercussion. Possibly use the princess as a bargaining chip since he, and technically the storm lands were still at war up until, a few days ago. I wasn't sure if he would return to King's Landing while the war was still on.

Those ideas work for me though.

Prince Potter can have the Stormlands, I'm withdrawing from this RP. I can redact anything that needs redacting.
