This is probably a horrible idea.

The basics of this are simple: All characters are ex-Roman legionaries, with some event that forced them to quit. They're now a merc group, working for whoever pays top dollar.

Sound any good?

How much Roman stuff do you need to know?

And besides, I think it would be less intimidating / more appealing if instead of setting it in the Roman Republic / Empire, you set it in a Roman Republic / Empire expy.
