I think all Wrestlers should have these types of moves as standard:

Signature: (A theatrical move that people recognize you for. E.G. John Cena's 5-Knuckle Shuffle, The Rocks Float-Over DDT.)
Signature Submission: (Unlike the Sleeper Hold, this is a Submission move that people are actually likely to tap out to. E.G. Daniel Bryan's Yes Lock/Chris Benoit's Crippler Crossface (they are the same move) Bret Hart's Sharpshooter)
Theatrical Finisher: (A move people recognize as the end of most matches, The Rock's People's Elbow, Brock Lesnar's F5.)

But, optionally, can have some of these as well:

Instant Finisher: (A move that you can pull out to fuck over your opponent at any moment. Can be used to finish a match. E.G. Stone-Cold Stunner, RKO.)
Super Finisher: (Most matches end with your Theatrical Finisher, but then you have your Squash Matches and Titleship matches, where a regular Finisher just isn't going to get the job done. For that, you have your Super Finisher, the move that is pretty much guarenteed to end the match. This is the move that will only be kicked out of if it's the most important match of someones career. Big Show's Knock-Out Punch, Undertaker's Tombstone, Randy Orton's Punt.)
Top Rope Finisher: (This is essentially one step down from your Super Finisher. Recognized as more powerful than your regular finisher, but not as powerful as the Super Finisher. This is only very rarely brought out. John Cena's Leg Drop, Seth Rollins Phoenix Splash, Brock Lesnar's Shooting Star Press)

I'm glad to see this is gaining some traction, I was worried it wouldn't.

I'm down for this. Yes, Haitch's entrance was silly, and after DX came out, n.W.o.'s appearance was predictable, if odd (Considering that Sting spent most of his Vigilante time in WCW feuding with them.)

I actually thought it was pretty standard for a Triple H Wrestlemania entrance. Then Arnold showed up and I just started laughing my ass off. Too bad they didn't have Goldberg come out and spear the crap out of Haitch after an obligatory Shawn Michaels cameo.

Kinda wish that New Day had won the Tag Team belt, because Mr "FAWT LAUTYDAUDY" and Mr "Lock-Up-Yo-Mid-Card" would be amazing if pushed right.

I don't think Kofi has a chance to escape the lower or midcard ever again, the time's passed and his character doesn't do....anything, hell he's not even Jamaican anymore!

Hey Zeus,

You think your federation could do with a cocky heel/tweener wannabe superstar? Cause it sounds like a fun ideas for a game and I have a character idea for "your greatest hero".

So you read Chris Jericho's book?

It looks like we have some solid interest in this, so I'm going to work on the official RP thread. To those people who were thinking of playing as divas, do you think we should have a dedicated Women's Championship or should the girls just mix it up with the guys?

Wow. I didn't think I would Ser one of these here.

I was thinking of starting one, but in the Arena and based I've the EWN string of eFeds. Where the promos were sent in to the bookers, matches written and posted, and promos sent out based on storylines the bookers were coming up with. The OOC would be used for in character promos against each other or that building themselves up and tgeIC would be reserved for shows.

Also. Nakamura.

I'll keep an eye on this.

I'm anti-segregation in professional sports, if there's anything that Manon Rhéaume taught us is that it's possible to bring down those walls.

Whilst this probably would be a controversial thing in our fictional professional wrestling league, I think it should be an in-story event; where the walls break down gradually or suddenly which sets the world on fire. The character I was thinking of making is a no nonsense female wrestler who isn't a diva in the traditional sense; she's a female wrestler with little patience for gimmicks and stage performance opting out for more exhibitionist and athletic ideals. She believes she's an equal to the male circuit choices of wrestlers and in a way wants to prove herself, perhaps wanting to move wrestling back to athletic sports exhibitionism rather than the performance art it currently is in. She will be adamant in wanting to put her foot in.

1) I have no problem about weight classes, though I won't begin to touch on your first point which could launch into an aggressive debate that I do not want to have. But I will respond to once point: men set those standards of female "achievement medals" so it is not simply biology (which I do not deny plays a part in it) but to a greater extent societal sexism.

2) No, all I have done is designed a personality and ideology. I have suggested where things could go. There is plenty room for development beyond that, your presumptions definitely are wrong and that apology would be quite nice. I have not planned an entire arc.

I just have this image in my head of a typical WWF episode.

"You put me up against THIS GUY?!"

"YES AND YOU'RE GONNA FIGHT HIM IF YOU WANT TO OR NOT!"

"AHHH!!" -- It's like the ultimate soap opera for men, and I love it.

I'll admit, i'm also anti-segregationist. Although, yes, Men are biologically superior at physical activity. Mother Nature designed us to be the hunter-gatherers, don't sue me. But, at the same time, she designed women to be the thinkers. Women have larger brains and quicker responses. I kinda liked the old days when the guys and gals would wrestle together. I mean, Trish Stratus and Lita proved that they are just as good, if not better than the guys.

But, getting back to the point, this is a sport where skill is just as much a priority as physical ability. That's why guys like Hideo Itame (Kenta Kobeyashi, who is a scrawny asian bloke with amazing skill) taking on someone like Big Cass (Who is 7 feet tall, and they can't teach that!) is interesting.

Being that, biologically, women can easily become more skilled than men, I think them wrestling together should be allowed.

Actually scientific studies shows you are wrong on both counts. Male brains are typically 10% larger than those of women (though that is literally just a measurement of size and could not be used to infer factors such as greater intelligence) and males have faster reaction times on average than women.

Hold on, I'll need to consult Bill Nye on this one.

Seriously though can we drop this?
