One of the few RPs I've made that lasted more than a few weeks. I think it's about a year old on the last forum I was on. It's still somewhat going, but it's on its last legs . . . maybe. Anyway, I'll get to it.
In the beginning, things were great. Terra -- the planet on which this takes place -- was almost perfect. If a utopia could exist, it was damn close. Lord Saith found and settled the planet with his legion of bodyguards. It was created as a save haven, where all of the galaxy's species and beings could live the way they wanted. It was meant to be paradise. And it was . . . in the beginning. Before they appeared. Not much is known about them, only that they operate on instinct. These things will hunt, kill and even eat smaller species. They were thought to be stupid at first, but underestimation was a fatal mistake. From here, it was setback after setback until, eventually, the smaller species found themselves in relatively small enclaves. Some were even less fortunate and live in villages or underground. These things won't stop until everything smaller than they are is dead or gone. Now, people are afraid to leave their enclaves, but recently, they've begun fighting back. What's that saying about a cornered animal? Yeah, it's the same basic concept here.
TL; DR: Many species live in small enclaves under constant threat of being devoured/rendered extinct by much larger creatures. They defend themselves with things that go pew-pew, explosions, robots, lasers and magic after getting tired of being messed with for what seems like an eternity.

Q: "What do we get to play as?" A: Anything! Your character may be human, or whatever else you wish. Make up a species. Really. It's okay!
Q: "How many people are you wanting for this?" A: Five total. That includes myself. So it would be me and four members who show interest. I want a co-GM, so if you're up for it, make yourself known. You're going to be a kind of "executive" GM. By executive I mean literally. You'll be deciding whether or not attacks are successful, and things like that. While that is normally the GM's responsibility, I feel that I have too much power as the GM, and thus, wish to delegate some of that to someone else. It's no fun if you can auto-win all the time because it's your RP. I want a CHALLENGE!
Q: "Only five?" A: Yes. I believe that quality is better than quantity. It's better to have four dedicated RPers than several not-so-dedicated ones. This RP pretty much finished on my last forum, and I would like to see that repeated here.
Q: "What kind of things do our characters get to use?" A: Anything, really. Some enclaves use more traditional means of defence like high-calibre, "anti-Aberration" weaponry. Think super-powerful rifles and the like. Others use giant walkers and other types of mecha. Some use magic. The sky is the limit with this concept.
Q: "What's the point of this RP?" A: Survival. Expansion. For some, the eradication of all Aberrations. As said in the premise, the migrant species were attacked and pushed into small communities. Not only do they have to make it another day, they have to expand their borders. Things are beginning to get crowded in the enclaves. Of course, the more extremist (though justified) individuals believe the migrants won't be safe until all Aberrations are exterminated. Their nests. Everything.
Those things being said, who's ready to get into it?
