Heck yes this is a group. Feel free to throw out ideas, everyone. Character designs are welcome in any shape or form, there's no direct structure. We can discuss that after we decide who we are and what we do. Let's just get a base going, yeah?

If you want players to be able to choose from multiple races then you can't go with a species based military. The Normandy was the exception, every other human ship would not allow alien crew members same goes for the turians, asari, salarians, etc.

If you want players to be able to play geth like Legion then I suggest a post ME3 timeline where Legion uploaded the Reaper code and destruction was not chosen. Legion was unique and only one like it was ever made, so the only way to play as one is for Legion to make them sentient.

@Revans Exile I didn't think Legion was made to be free. None of the Geth were. But they all became smarter and smarter, and then the Quarians got scared and attacked, forcing the Geth away and making them rather vulnerable to Reaper influence...right?

Also why not just have alternate universe timeline shiz? :3

Geth became smarter when more and more programs networked together. Then one day one platform asked if it had a soul. Quarians went nuts started slaughtering the geth which led to The Morning War which we all know led to the quarians being exiled. Then the Reapers got a hold of some and schism formed, the heretical geth followed Sovereign. Then Shepard destroyed Sovereign so the geth created a unique "mobile platform" that housed 1,183 programs (most platforms were roughly 100) to investigate. This made Legion as close to sentient as the geth could be. In ME3 after the moronic quarians decided to restart The Morning War. The geth lost a lot of programs, their intelligence dimmed and survival took precedence among the consensus, forcing the geth to make a deal with the Reapers. If Legion uploaded the Reaper code into the geth network they gained true individual consciousness meaning they became a sentient species.

If we go with an alternate timeline I may or may not be inclined to join. Depends on the changes.

The name is supposed to be Revan's Exile but I forgot to include the '. It is an indirect reference to an old character I used to play that was the descendent of Revan & the Exile, this was before the TOR MMO and its ancillary books destroyed my appreciation of KOTOR.

By alternate timeline, I simply mean we simply adjust something for the sake of RPing. Like...replacing the crew of the Normandy, or making a second "Normandy".

@Revans Exile I don't plan on doing an alternate universe, and the original plan was to (indeed) make it a post-ME3 storyline. I feel like that would best suit the type of roleplay everyone is expecting here but for maybe one person. So don't worry, I'm not planning on significant changes.

So, assuming that we create a post-ME3 storyline... and incorporate any races that interest individuals present, we'll need to decide on characters and possible relations. We'll need reasons for characters to interact. A band of misfits as mentioned by @Arkmageddoncat might work, but if anyone else has suggestions... don't hesitate to pitch in. I don't want to dominate the decisions.

Depending on the characters that everyone is interested in, we'll most likely have to develop from those interests. If there's someone who wants to roleplay as a Geth, for example, we'll have to choose the post ME3 Shepard choice that correlates. We can do a replace-Normandy crew type thing, too, but we'll have to change a few things and decide when that would take place. Generally, there'd be a lot of smoothing out to do. Everyone, please name the most probable race you'd choose for your character(s).
