This is just a tentative outline; I intend to add more details later when we know more about the setting and situation, and when other players have submitted their character sheets.

Name: Wren Valkyrie

Spirit: Lightning

Weapon: Wren has control over electricity. She chooses to conduct it through an extendable stun baton, but can (less accurately) conduct it through her skin/hands, if necessary.

Personality: She is hot-headed, overconfident, and always eager for a fight. Wren tends to act before thinking, but when calm, she is fairly intelligent. She’s a narcissist who lets her victories get to her head, and has a hard time seeing from other people’s point of view.

Appearance: Wren has short, choppy white hair (that used to be brown – it turned white when a spirit of lightning chose her as a vessel). She has golden eyes and olive skin, a scar on her lips and on her cheekbone, as well as in various other places on her body, and has piercings in her ears and her left eyebrow. Wren has a crooked nose from a fistfight, and a fit, muscular body; she is also tall for a woman at 5’9”.

Age: 21

Clothes: She still wears the jacket from her uniform at the Academy; underneath it, she wears a black, mesh-sleeved shirt, as well as worn, gray jeans. She also sports black leather gloves, an arm band with the United Defense Force insignia, and brown combat boots.

History: Wren had trouble fitting in as a child and felt she had to beat up her bullies to survive. She started kickboxing and training with a stun baton years before being admitted into the Academy; while at the Academy, she made a small group of friends who understand her. Eager to gain respect and recognition, Wren hopes to rise up as an esteemed Guardian of the United Defense Force.

Hrmmms... guessing we'd all be around the same age too right? Soooo like what does Wren like to do in spare time other than electrocute bullies? xDDD I'mma say muh charrie lieks to dance^^ and sing. Muh girlie is very talented at dancing too ;D But she really really thinks she can sing rather well. She thinks she can... but no... just no... xDDD

I was thinking Wren would be a bit of a tech enthusiast. She had to make her baton herself so that it's suited especially for her powers. I imagine she builds computers and other devices in her spare time.

@Bunnita That is a nice character concept and you are more than welcome to do it. In fact, I encourage it and in general, character types that contrast each other as much as possible. Mine will be the typical leader type. Mostly because it is easy to portray alongside my other duties as Game Master. If you Google "little sister tvtropes" you will find a trope about the "Little Sister Heroine". Maybe it will spark a few more ideas.

@bluejay_gl That is a nice drawing! While I do require people to find a real life face model for their characters, you are allowed to have additional images such as this. And do not worry about the character sheet. I will post one that explains every section in detail, and post my own character as an example character sheet, so that our sheets looks roughly the same.

Seems as though we've got quite the diverse bunch of personalities here - both characters and the writers that portray them. Excellent.

For my character, I was considering something drastically different from my usual reckless hotheads or cheerful idiots; I was considering an earnest, yet somewhat serious loner-type. Probably comes off as all kinds of cold and distant, but the kind that doesn't associate with people not by preference or choice, but because the poor dear wouldn't know how to maintain a conversation to save her life. She probably comes off as unintentionally arrogant, probably even infuriatingly enigmatic. (I want to see if I can put a twist on the "distant loner" trope.)

She's probably a perfectionist, too, and won't hesitate to point out others' flaws - but, that's only because she's had plenty of practice agonizing over her own.

It's a shame we've got to find real-life face claims, though I suppose it can't be helped. @Prisk Thank you very much! A real life face model, huh? I suppose this model has the most of Wren's facial features (her square jaw and prominent cheekbones, mainly), and her haircut is similar, as well:

@clericbeast I have a difficult time visualizing Anime characters when I read posts. I have nothing against Anime in itself, but for my roleplays I prefer real life references in terms of characters. Reference settings for the story, environments and such, are all CG art.

Oh no, I'm not at all. I just got hit with a great idea for my character and just wanted to get an early start on it. Speaking of which, I'm going to use this as my Real-Life face claim.

Also, I'm wondering if anyone has put interest in the Prince-type character of the party/group? If not, then I would like to officially put my interest for that and also for the element of light, if no one has claimed it yet.

EDIT: actually, going to rethink the face claim. NEed to find others that could fit my character. Ahhhh

No worries! I provided a real-life version alongside the animated one, so that way we can have the best of both. I'd consider it a solid compromise, as far as face claims go.

I suppose there can be leeway in the form of 'proper' art rather than real life photos or blatant anime. For example: 1, 2, 3.

It rarely works like this in real life. Those who have younger sisters themselves and hear about this trope often claim that they're more frequently annoying than cute, making this trope more wish fulfillment than anything like an accurate portrayal of sibling dynamics.

Urmmms... yeah, I thinks, I'mma stick along the lines of the quote xDDD~~ But like yush, I do like the tsundere idea though... crushin on like someone from the class ahead of us or something. ;D

I would think so since no one has been accepted yet as it's just the Interest Check phase. There is, however, a lot of competition and only about half of us would probably be getting in, since there are only 6 or so spots open to begin with.

Oh, okay. I guess I just assumed cause you mentioned in the OP that you were looking for six or so people. In that case, I retract what i said before in response to @DukeOfMadness's inquiry. It also takes off some previous worries I had myself about how the process would go. Just going to make my character(when the character Sheet Skelly is given), and just hope for the best. :)
