(I'm a big newb on this new site if you couldn't tell. After the last one kinda died off I made a new account on here as soon as it dropped with intentions of getting back into roleplaying. However, me being me (rather silly and stupid at the time) I lost the plot and more or less forgot about my love of writing. I know, sounds crazy right? I just... didn't feel like playing. Until now at least! So I thought I'd come back and lurk around a little, see what was up and make up for lost time. Hence why you probably caught me peeping around in your thread xD Heck, I didn't even notice you tagged me in here until I saw the notification button which I didn't even realise existed! I'm slowly finding my feet though.. Slooowly indeed)

I really have no clue as to what made me want to stop writing and roleplaying. It was as if I woke up on the wrong side of the bed one day and I just didn't feel the craving to do it any longer. Stuff like this happens to us all though!

Also I thank you for your welcome! If it wasn't for the fact that you caught me snooping I would have made a post about my return, though I'm feeling kinda lazy in my sleepy state so maybe it can/will wait for a little while longer x) And I agree on the fancy buttons, though I haven't even used them once up 'til now. I doubt I'd even use it much at all as I'm the kinda guy that roams around looking for people rather than have people look for me, hah.

Lol. Yeah, I like to talk to people who look. It helps just keep the thread happy, but also sometimes makes people more comfortable to contact me for RP because they realize I am nice (as I can come off sounding very strict in my threads).

Meh, you get used to people setting high standards for RPing :P Though as you say, it is easy to come off sounding different than how you actually act towards people. Which is the one thing that I dislike about talking to people over text. It is extremely easy to type something which sounds different to how it was intended to sound, and sometimes it makes that person sound like a bit of an ass. Though you certainly seem kind enough! :D

And yes, a couple may have indeed piqued my interest! Once I wake up I shall most likely be getting back in contact. So it would be a fair assumption to expect something back from me! :)

I agree. Sadly, sometimes, you can also tell right away if someone is an ass. Lol. I've had it happen. Someone wants to RP and I have a strong feeling by how they communicate it won't go well, so I don't do it. Then they come swinging out with insults and acting a child, proving the very reason I didn't want to RP with them. haha.

Haha, my profile seemed naked so I thought I'd add a bit of structure to it. And what better way to do so than to use pics and whatnot from my favorite video game series. (I am a video game nerd, and a big one at that)

Hmm, I can be a bit of one sometimes though only if provoked (I guess I am a bit hot headed at times, though I'm only normally like with my friends). When I meet people like you though my more 'gentle' side seeps through xD I don't know if that is the right word to use to describe myself but I'm generally a nice guy (I think, haha).

I love games too. -Hugs her big blue trunk full of systems and games.- But I'm not a first person shooter type. Though I do like some third person shooters (Hitman for instance).

We all have our moments of anger. However, I do find it funniest when the best they can come up with is; "You're a bitch! No wonder no one will RP with you!"

It's like; "Uh, yeah, because you can totally see into my PM box, huh?"

Lol. They always say that when I have 5 or more going too. It's funny. To make themselves feel better about being rejected, they have to try and insult me. -Shakes her head.-
If someone declines to RP, people should take it with a grain of salt if the person does it nicely.

The only thing that makes me upset in RP is when someone controls my character (blatantly so). It's like; "Okay, all roleplayers should know this is not okay! It's one of the first rules of Roleplay!" Haha.

I used to be into first person shooter games, but now I'm more of an RPG guy (big surprise, huh? xD). Skyrim, Fallout and Mass Effect to name a few. I'm a sucker for a story line which can manage to keep me interested, that and I love creating characters that I can roleplay with in game (I love being an jerk.. That or just pure evil. Makes it more fun >:D). Oh, and I also enjoy Pokemon.. A grown person can still enjoy that!

Haha, ouch. I can't say that I've ever spoke with anybody to ever have that kind of attitude towards me. Though they'd get back a mouthful if they ever tried to, hah. And most of my aggressiveness gets taken out towards friends in voice communications xD So all of my steam has been let out by the time I would come to RP. Unless my character is an ass then I save some of my pent up frustrations for him x)

And I can fully understand how that annoys people. Though my peeve is when I spend an hour or two writing out a huge response to something, then only getting back a small portion of what I sent. I mean, I can lead an RP, but there is only so much you can do with a lack of something to respond to. I hate struggling with responses with little to work with, but I'd feel like an ass to ask that person for more so I try harder to make it work xD

Haha. I'm pretty quick to call quits if I send a nice big opener...and I get just a few short crappy paragraphs in response... It's like "I'm sorry, but I need more than this to respond to..."
It sucks more when you clearly stated what you seek in your thread they found you in and then just blatantly ignore it. I once called a guy out on ignoring my rules and such. He tried to harass me on my thread, saying I was a 'bitch' and I owed him an 'apology'. The mods took care of him real quick and his posts.

It's sad that people take the immature route when there isn't a reason. I fully understand being somewhat mean in response to someone being truly rude/demeaning when you've made a mistake or done nothing wrong. Yet people seem to jump at every chance they get to be a dick to other people because they aren't 'getting their way'. :P

RPGs are fun. I've been playing my 3DS a lot lately. A friend bought me Fantasy Life and then my Story of Seasons finally came out.

I should probably be more like that in the future xD Sometimes I used to be so desperate to keep things going that I was willing to do all the work to just continue playing because I liked the story too much to let go.

And there really isn't any need for that. Although we are all behind our screens typing to each other (whom we may or may not even know), there is no need to resort into slanging battles. Don't get me wrong, I curse a lot (I should probably try to do so less frequently xD) but there isn't any need to direct it at people in anger like the way some people do. Its just childish and immature. And what you said there summed up the internet! Its a great tool when you meet the right people, but then you know that there are going to be undesirables somewhere hiding.

3DS.. hah. I have one... Sat around collecting dust xD I used to play the heck out of it but then like most things boredom struck. It probably doesn't help the fact that I only have 2 games. Both of them being Pokemon games that get extremely repetitive. So I mainly just stick to playing PC games for the most part

Don't get me wrong, I love them. Its just that after a while its the same grind xD Also I kinda derped. I bought both X and Y just for the Pokemon that you could get on one and not the other.. In the end I only got around to completing Y and I've done hardly anything in the other xD
