Been watching Toy Story lately... don't ask. Anyway, I was thinking of role playing in a Toy Story universe. I'm sure it's been done before, but I ain't searching for anything because I don't want my idea to be poisoned by other ideas, if that makes sense.

Anyway, the role play takes place in the Toy Story universe, but it won't take place in the Tri-County area, nor will it concern any of the major Toy Story characters. And I will not let anyone play as duplicates of those characters (no Buzz's, no Woody's, no Jessie's, etc). This is f or obvious reasons.

Since I'm pretty sure we're all grown-ups here, we'll take things a little darker than the movies (they were dark anyway, what with the Holocaust mess and such). You're either an old or new toy for our Kid. Unfortunately, a terrible tragedy strikes that forces the Toys to embark on a long and treacherous journey to find Toy Haven (name pending) where Toys can live in peace for eternity.

The role play may continue on from there if it is popular enough, and would concern things within Toy Haven.

I could... I could actually enjoy this. I think. I'm willing to give it a bash anyway.

I'm also up for this. Are real-world toys required or can we completely make up a toy? Just want to know what options are available for character creation.
