Its all about adventure and traveling so other races are allowed. I wouldn't think griffins are good idea. Dragons,elves,drawfs,humans and dragon riders.

Yes side characters are fun to play but....its a story between the forbidden dragon and its rider to save the world

Oh yeah. The story can't be interrupted too much by side characters, but, they are cool, and I will be introducing some along the way, but, I am very interested either way.
