Very nice and structured. I was gonna suggest the D&D Character sheets, as they have all those statistics already built into them. Is it something you are wanting to do strictly over TT sim, or is there going to be an actually rp thread as well?

@ImportantNobody

I haven't played D&D so would like to make my own thing. Obviously a lot of things will be similar because it's the only thing that would make sense such as strength and such. However, there would likely be some stuff I'd like to have that D&D wouldn't do that way, and because of that it's best to avoid confusion and just pretend it doesn't exist for this roleplay.

There will be a thread. Tabletop Simulator is to visualize what we are talking about in the thread.

@ImportantNobody Okay. Say for instance we already established what we were going to do. Would we fist simulate an event that we want to happen on TT Sim, and then come to the thread and write the literature? How exactly would this work?

Play by plays while we are doing the game is what I had planned, but I'd have to see if you an have web browsers open at the same time. I could type on the phone while playing but not everyone might be able to. The simulator is to visual what is going on while we post here so you can see all the monster positions and such.

I see! So basically, by the time we are actually done simulating for a day, and everything that has happened, we should all have one post each or something like that? That's in interesting take on role-playing.

We'd have more information then a single post unless we didn't get much done. All the stat stuff would not need to be mentioned in te IC, which would be in more story format rather then "I attack him for 8 damage" you would instead explain what happens in better actions and detail.

So wait... What is the actual plot? Are we in a high fantasy world or a sci fi? More generally; what is the setting?

I expected that. But I mean, will we take notes during the sim to help us better understand what we are going to write about afterwards? And What I meant by the 1 post thing was, Well each have an entire post. So if there are 6 people, we should expect 6 posts right?

We can use the OOC as well for that. I guess we could only need a single post each because we'd know our character interactions during this time so wouldn't have to go back and forth between characters in order to see how they are reacting to you.

I'll try to get more information out in the coming week.

Speaking of jobs, I haven't really gotten much work put into this idea lately because of it. I'll get to it sooner or later when I can hopefully start catching up on stuff I want to get done.

I think there's too many playable races in mind. My problem is that a lot of people might want to be a lot of different races so I'd hate to limit things, but then again it will take too long and become convoluted to try and include everything right off the bat. But then I think it would be hard to explain them suddenly showing up later on without any references to them beforehand once I come out with the "expansions" for different races. I wanted at least one race per element but that's already a ton unless I take away things like lightning and poison and maybe go with the four main ones (fire, earth, water, air). Maybe the minor elements are grouped in with those or just don't have races to go along with them for whatever reason. And then I think that there's plenty of races that could go with poison such as nagas and maybe vampire-like beings.

This is getting really complicated.

Recommendation:
Aeroth (Air), Solmat (Solid), and Iqora (Liquid) should not have races. All life uses these.
Speaking of life, Gaea (Life) should also not have a specific race, as it is all races. It can, however, be an element (just not the entirety) of some schools.
Rather, if you want to go with elemental races, break down Maanag (Energy) into:
Velectro (Electricity/Lightning)
Achemada (Chemical Reactions and Transmutations)
Korimac (The fueling of the Terra Core to facilitate major geological changes such as earthquakes)
Necronimac (Necromancy, this is not entirely life as it really just involves animation, although used on once living minds)
Hydizeph (The commanding of winds, used to create tsunamis are blow away villages)
My racial recommendations are, respectively:
Nodogi (Tinker Gnomes)
Negoski (Trolls but Russian-influenced instead of Jamaican)
Stodig (Classic dwarves, but mage and stone working-based instead of ironwork-based)
Azarliche (A population-dominant lower class of ghouls and zombies infinitely loyal and obedient to the scentient nobility of lich-spectres, this would be a fallen elven kingdom based on Shakespearian London, subtracting some tech levels and adding classic medieval fantasy elements)
Ilvia (Essentially whimsical high-elves, although not particularly prude. They are more like half-elves, except territorially and with cultural openness they replace humans.)
The names come from latin and greek variants, as well as some mythical linguistics and DnD vocab. As it is your RP, feel free to tweak or change as you please. This is just an idea to essentially combine the sects of what everyone usually wants to play. For every major race I have come across, they can fit into here or at least be a sub-culture of one of them.

I was also thinking of an elf-like human replacer. Maybe a bit shorter then humans but not like dwarves. Going with this I might take away elves and dwarves and have some of their traits represented by other races. These human replaces can also come in all shapes and sizes, think Waluigi and Wario, so there can be interesting customization on appearance in a slight cartoony fashion. However, most will be the default human look.

Maybe for the names of the races and elements it could be based on the language of their world but have context clues what you are talking about based on the sound. For example, Ferea would be fire.

Fire, Water, and Earth are generally way to specific to be actual elements. Thats why I went with the 3-4 states of matter. Personaly I think the names relate to what we know pretty well, if you have a question feel free to ask. The elves I was thinking of would almost be Emerald City (from 'Wizard of Oz') inhabitants with pointed ears and probably taller, plus platinum-blonde hair and green-blue-violet eyes. Height would be average 6'1", at least that was my personal image.
