Is it possible to form a bond with an older dragon? One that has already matured.

Half way finished with Vordil's history, in case you want to check it over. Leave any and all comments until after the history has been finished, however, since it still is incomplete.

As long as none of the recruits give him lip, they get to keep their legs. But seriously, I'll keep it reasonable and it will only show during class and serious situation, other than that, he's a pretty all right guy.

I wouldn't say that, while the event do seem similar, the circumstances are completely different. Vordil killed dragons out of necessity, then power, then vengeance, has lost his entire clan, his family, his life, and almost his sanity. I'd say there are quite a few differences between the two

Yeah except that she stopped and knew better far faster then he did and knew it was wrong to harm dragon no matter what kind they where and that they too have a life. Remeber her entire race was whipped out by dragons....she isn't daisy and sunshiens compaired to him he didn't loose the entire race only his family loosing an entire race is far harder to deal with with just you being the last

When did that happen, didn't see that tidbit in her CS? Also, I never said she was, just that situations aren't that similar. Vordil was responsible for all the lives he lost that day, and when they were all killed, he felt he had failed as a ruler, as a warrior, as a husband, etc, etc. I just think that it's a different feeling than what Celesti went through. Both events are tragic, but they aren't tragic for the same reason is what I'm trying to say.

As for the dragon killing, to Vordil it was no different than killing sheep for wool or cows for meat, it only became personal after he lost everything. Until he met Kulak, they were nothing more than animals to him. I don't think it's a matter of knowing better, it's just a way of viewing things. Further more, dragons aren't perfect, they are not all benevolent beings. They have their good and evil as well and killing one isn't an automatically evil act, just the reason you kill them is what makes it bad or not.
