Large Cloud was waiting for more. He then warmly welcomed Milo Cash. "Colonel Cash! It's good to see you here." With a veteran on board, the paranormal forces they were about to face would stand little if any chance.

With her duffle bag open on the bed Maya had been pulling everything out and going through it getting her personal footlocker and such prepared, when the alarms went off she was not prepared at all. She ran out of the barracks area wearing nothing but a sports bra and work out shorts as she had been planning on attending to the gym to psych herself up. She ran through the armory and grabbed the suit that had been set out for her, and frowned a bit as she started trying to get on this armor she had never worn before. She stumbled about trying to get the leg armor on and ended up falling over with a crash and pieces of armor going up in the air "DAMNIT! What is this?! What happened to combat uniforms and kevlar?!"

Alina Ivanova heard the commotion, catching the armor with surprising strength and speed. "Both useless, Squaddie. Surely you seen during the First Paranormal War. Now hold still. I'll show you."

Delivering, she efficiently applied the armor while teaching Maya how to use them efficiently. "For good measure, conventional bullets? Useless under the water. Apply sleeve, fire underwater bullet."

Alina would not have laughed at the fumble. To her, the equipment was much more expensive. Worth more than the squaddie's previous salary. Though they were more than five years old in basic design, they were updated throughout the years. What would have took the US army, for example, decades to update, ParaCom took only months or years.

Alina then would carry on to the Moray. "Colonel Alina Ivanova. Coming to deliver some big booms." Her curt introduction to the newer folks supplemented her appearance as a heavy. She provided not just rapid fire from her magitech weaponry, but also the demolitions. Colonel Ivanova would be the demolitions expert. The armor she wore also was rather impressive. Not just she was capable of magic, but also the armor was made from demon bones and the superalloy from the First Paranormal War. It was also much more durable than the more conventional armors.

Three operatives were in so far. The Moray had plenty of room. Good news that it was lightning fast enough to catch up to the enemy ship. Submarines were also sent their to ensure it would be kept down. The Cosmodium energy also eliminated any fuel concerns. For those reasons, it would be considered nothing more than first blood.

"Sir, jees, sir," Koski formally greeted his superior. He was surprised to find out there were not only one, but two colonels going to participate in the operation. Corporals, or at the very most sergeants were usually the rank to command squads of this size, but Koski guessed that the situation was so desperate that it required the sheer combat experience and skill that Colonels Ivanova and Cash would provide. Nonetheless, he was glad the squad had soldiers of various specializations joining in, making for a balanced strike-team.

The suit Colonel Alinova wore resembled something he's seen on fantasy games his boot camp comrades would play in the soldier home. It was his first time of seeing something magical first-hand, and it was an impressive sight. He couldn't imagine how powerful that stuff was, and realized that there was a lot he had to learn if he was to keep up.

Looks like I won't need to throw a smoke grenade to cover her; she's probably just going to walk through everything the bogeys have to offer.

Koski glanced over at the other colonel, Cash, who was the sniper in their squad. He could see the kind of intensity in his eyes he's only spotted on soldiers who have seen actual combat, and twitched a bit when he saw the machete he was carrying. The tip he gave them may have sounded redundant, but coming from him, was most likely a word of caution. He did notice the guy drinking before he got on, and it got the medic worried. Now that he thought about it, they were probably siblings too.

Sheesh, now that's a sniper colder than Häyhä himself, goddamn.

"Just to remind all squaddies, all Colonels, including me, were there for the First Paranormal War. It takes balls to go toe-to-toe with the paranormal." Alina meant business. She took the paranormal quite seriously and is expecting the worst. Also, it seemed that the new soldiers have no idea what they are fighting. So Alina might give them a crash course on what to expect.

"We have faced undead of all types, beasts, and even demons back with the First Paranormal War. So we should expect the same with the aquatic areas." She was ready and prepared. To the squaddies, the Colonels may appear invincible.
