Just a suggestion, but maybe since Willard's character is waiting for a response from Chit Zai, maybe Mao Lei could walk up and surprise Erok, considering she's all underground and stuff. They could have already arranged themselves to find the new Avatar, explain themselves to the White Lotus, and train Masaru in the elements, but it's all up to you guys.

To make it a little bigger, as well as convey plans for later on, would you like to be on the enemy team? Since I already have all spots filled on Team Avatar, maybe you'd like to go after the avatar and bring his head to Iluq so the world could be encased in ice?

I don't mind @pyroman's suggestion here; a surprise meeting would certainly be acceptable, but there has to be some sort of pretext to why Mao would seek Erok out. For example, perhaps she had heard from the same merchants that Erok had dealt with that there was someone searching for the Avatar who had suddenly left town in a hurry. Mao could deduce that Erok might know enough information to be helpful in her own search for the Avatar.

At the same time, Mao doesn't know exactly who Erok is, nor does she know his intentions; Erok doesn't know Mao either. Obviously how she handles the situation is up to you. I was planning on having Erok wait for Chit to get back to him via Hawk, and if @Shanks took too long to make a post, I'd have Erok begin to worry that something had happened to him, the Avatar or both, and take off for the Fire Kingdom after some delay.

As a side note, I'm actually currently re-watching the original series. It's aged pretty well. Not sure if I'm going to re-watch Korra just yet though, seeing as I just finished it when the series ended.

No, making your character a waterbender to be a villain is not mandatory.

Iluq, while she does have her armies, has started to use other means of enforcing her rule and finding the Avatar, such as hiring mercenaries and outbuying warriors to work for her. So while her army is 95% waterbenders and Water Tribe people, there are people of other nations working for her, or also hunting down the Avatar for their own purposes.

That's music to my ears. I was Hoping to make a unique earthbender. Mind you I haven't read all the character sheets, so I won't have a cs until I've got a clear idea of every on else's

Just a note; I'll likely be waiting for a post from @Little Mx Inferno before I have Erok do anything else.

Well, Masaru could keep running through the city, and maybe hide in a bar or tavern, where they could stumble onto your character, if you'd like to do that.

Yes, a bar is a very natural place for my character to appear.
