Allowed his eyes to trail the motions of the large violet, black dragoness. Hidden ears carefully listening to both the tearing of meat and the mumbled tones of the dragoness.

He didn't budge to allow easy access, though he did partially glance to his other side downwards at whatever lied beyond. Wings shifting as he tail circled to curl around one side.

"Nothing of your concern," He huffed in a heavy breath, lips twitching lightly as he shook out that masculine neck and continued to watch the pair. He made no efforts to bait a fight, knowing the smaller female of the two was injured enough and he himself being a bit worn from flying wasn't interested in such activities.

As the female moved to glance at whatever lied beyond, all she'd spot is a smaller version of his tail whip around and then vanish, a small corner of a wing would pop out after that as whatever was behind him growled in an attempted ferocious vocal, it was high pitched, almost like a squeak and muffled by a mouthful of meat.

This made even Ace cock his head to watch, the corner of his mouth curling upwards in that instance for a moment as he emit a gentle chuckle before straightening up his neck and head to stare at the unknown pair once more. A quick show of emotion was all he was willing to offer before he settled to that same unkind, daring glare of warning.

Every moment Rala grew more curious. She had to remind herself to remain seated; respecting the male and giving him the wide berth he so clearly demanded. Seeing the single moment of happiness flash over his features made her blink, then glance back at the creature behind him. If she had been older.....more experienced.....it would have been easy to realize what he guarded so fiercely.
Instead the answer came slow, like a coal fighting to produce heat.

When she finally did realize, the female sat straight up and let out a quick snort. She stared at the male in surprise. He was just a father.....protecting his young....

It was certainly an unusual sight; to see a male caring for his young. Most often the fathers were killed or chose to abandon their mates and offspring. This one......he was different.

Intrigued Rala relaxed and just watched the pair, fighting the smile that threatened to appear at the corner of her lips. Although this dragon was a father, that didn't mean he would be any less of a threat. In fact with a hatchling nearby he was more liable to attack.

Keeping this in mind Rala was happy to stay right where she was.

While the two were communicating to each other, another dragon was nearby, watching the events take fold. This dragon was indeed bigger then them and perhaps even more noble-looking with his golden scales glistening in the sunlight. He had just landed and was watching from behind some foliage at a reasonably safe distance. He was also a bit peckish himself and was scouting for a free meal, only to find this carcass. Thing is... its already occupied by 3 dragons. While he is more powerful than the three dragons, he is one of honor. He will rather wait his turn then attack aggressively just to get the free meal. He continues to wait in the trees, though some of the sunlight began to shine several of his scales... making himself known to those with a keen eye.

Had focused too closely on the females ahead of him, as he watched them quietly his attention suddenly perked. He spotted a partial glisten of something in the foliage and allowed those rough pale sapphire lips to ripple, his nose bridge crinkling as his neck arched and eyes shifted to focus on the one spot amongst the trees. He remained laying down, blocking all paths to the creature he protected.

As he lost focus to the dragoness's he began to rumble deeply, the webbed spines along his back shuddering as his tail swatted at the ground, nostrils flaring wider than before as he collected what scents he could, though they were muddled heavily in the scent of the forestry.

The little one behind him went silent, the sound of mini jowls hushed except a quick squeak. Her movements almost silent as she tried to scurry up the side of the large pale beast who guarded her, thus the little head of a young dragon peaked upwards before hiding under the far side wing of Ace.

At this point the brute would arise, the shredded carcass now abandoned as he rose his head high, wings tightly tucked though one held a light lump within in (which was visible like a tumor under skin), that feral stare he held pressuring at the forestry as he huffed, "Whose there?"

He had been seen! And ever so by a very keen eye. Galderon was intrigued by his eye, though realizing soon enough that the sun was glistening his scales on his wings. Knowing that he has been spotted, he calmly walks out of the brush, and onto the open plains. As soon as he was out, his wings spring open, revealing 2 shiny wings, a single star when put together. He did look impressive as he continues walking forward with a deep grunt.

"Fear not young one..." he answers with a deep gruff voice, "I mean no harm to you or your youngling."

At the abruptness of the male's movement Rala had stiffened and lifted her lips and wings in a threat. But his eyes were elsewhere.....amongst the trees.
Frowning the dragoness followed his gaze to the trees south of them. At first she saw nothing, but then a flash of yellow against the foliage made her hiss. They were being watched, and she had been too preoccupied to notice.

Shooting her gaze to Stormy she reached foreword and nuzzled her sister reassuringly, "Wait here."

Then, flapping her blue wings once in frustration she stepped foreword and stared at the trees; a snarl hanging in her throat.
More than likely the scent of the male's kill had drawn in another spectator......fantastic.

Worrying for the safety of her sister, and surprisingly the youngling who now huddled beneath the wing of her father, Rala stomped a foreleg and hunched over in preparation for a battle.

However, when she saw the dragon appearing from the forest, she went wide eyed and blinked.

It was no doubt a male, judging by its voice and sheer size. He was MUCH bigger than either her or her sister.

Only slightly intimidated however Rala kept a firm stance; snorting slightly. A lot of dragons could claim they meant no harm......Rala knew by experience that that didn't mean anything.

"Fear not young one..." he answers with a deep gruff voice, "I mean no harm to you or your youngling."

He then looks towards the other dragon, Rala, who was already preparing for battle. A battle that Galderon did not want.

"If you are looking for a battle," he says to Rala calmly, "Then you will not get one from me. Though start the quarrel and rest assured you will be beaten..."

He pauses for a second as he sniffs the carcass of the dead creature.

"I ask nothing more than a few pieces from your meal," Galderon then speaks, "Allow me to take a few bites and I shall be gone in not more then 5."

Continued to stare at the large beast of a dragon. His head dipped slightly as he began to side - back step, lips rippling lightly as he began to press past the forest line, leaving the bloodied carcass behind visibly torn by only those of the little creatures maw. The sheep was well dead and surrended with ease.

As he glanced between the three others the pale of the lot shook out that broad neck, hissing lightly he lifted his wings, the young dragon almost falling to the ground before managing to regain grip from the sudden movement, scrambled up and shuddering partially moved to lay flat along his spine, already begin to blend as she had in the beginning.

Large wings rising as they sent a large gust towards the field, he was preparing to take off, barely saying a word though visibly unsure of sticking around at this point. His concerns lied with the young he carried, more than himself and those around him.

Rala frowned, but relaxed slightly when the golden male voiced his intentions.
Part of her wanted to protest and say the meal was for the other dragon and his child, but the sound of wings snapping open drew her attention.

Golden eyes shooting to her side she saw that the second male had backed off, and was seemingly preparing for flight.
He was leaving?

Suddenly, and without explanation Rala was worrying for them......mostly for the hatchling that rode so closely to its father's back. It was a harsh world out there.....more so now that the two leggeds were heightening their efforts of hunting them down. Dragons were becoming viscious in protecting what was theirs.

Without much thought Rala called to the grey male, voice light but still tinged with confusion and caution over the situation, "Wait....."

She didn't know why.......but she wanted to help. Her mother had always said she was overly generous.....truth be told it was a trait she was working on.....

It seemed he had been given the OK and Galderon then paid his attention to the meal at hand. Usually he would find a meal for himself, as he is still very capable on taking down large prey, but yet such prey is rare these days. Perhaps it is the humans who are overfarming the dragon's natural food supplies...

Either way, he then takes the first bite out of the sheep. It was a pretty big sheep indeed, though Galderon knew of kindness and will leave some for the other dragons. He'll just take a few more bites before moving on to search for prey of his own.

Froze just as he was about to plow down those powerful flight limbs, eyes shifting to the larger, dark dragoness as he snorted a light huff of breath.

"What?" His voice soft, yet visibly uncertain as he awaited his response. The flicker of miniature gem-like eyes, almost as white as the untainted clouds themselves, flashed over his back as they looked towards the golden dragon devouring parts of the sheep. No vocals emitted as she clawed and began to mouth at the spines along Ace's back.

He barely budged other than rolling the shoulder joints were his wings joined to his form, his tail swaying lightly as he softened his expression and once more parted his lips, "Diamond stop!" his voice a tad stern as he shot a quick stare at the young one who immediately stopped, her expression almost comical as she silently complained and wiggled about.

Ace shook his head lightly and took a slight step forward, still watching the one female who'd spoken.

Getting the male's attention Rala sucked in a breath, then spoke in an easy tone, "Are you heading anywhere in particular? A territory perhaps?"

Struggling to find the proper words to say she avoided his gaze, shrugging her shoulders then fighting a smile when she heard the hatchling's name......Diamond....

She wanted to know if they had a home; if they even needed her help."

"It's tuff out there for a lone dragon.....I know that struggle......"

She looked up at the grey male, "But with a hatchling it has to be more than difficult."
Providing for the two of them, protecting, searching for a home.......Rala was very familiar with the seemingly never ending quest to find a territory.

"I know we are strangers......and that you probably wouldn't trust me with anything if your life depended on it.....but if you have nowhere to go, then maybe we can help each other out....."

stormy nuzzled her sister. still kind of hiding behind the older dragoness. with some chugged she moved out to face the two males, and one young female.

she put her head low like a bow, to show she was peaceful. "if you don't mind, could any of you help me and my sister.?" the sun shown off some of the now dried blood. her blood loss was getting high. stormy's head started to spin

Rala turned to see her sister had gotten up from the grass, purring slightly when she swayed. Stormy was becoming weak......If it hadn't been for the minor..."Interruptions" Rala would have been able to help her sooner. But sometimes life isn't that easy now is it?

She glanced back to the grey male and snorted slightly, "My mother always said there was safety in numbers.....whether you chose to agree with us or not is fine by me. Sooner I'm free to leave and help my sister, the better."

As the golden dragon took the last of his bites, Galderon was not disturbed by the other dragon's conversations. That is until he heard of a faint cry for help nearby. His head reared up from the carcass, licking his chops neatly and inspected the wounded dragon. Stormy has indeed lost a lot of blood and will ultimately die if her wound is not healed. Luckily for her, Galderon is experienced in healing measures, so without further ado, he springs his wings up into the sky, radiating his wings in the sunlight. The light was then shown on Stormy's wound, which with only slight jolts of pain, would begin to heal the wound. After around a minute of this, the wound had healed completely. Galderon folds his wings as he makes a small grunt.

"Your kindness will not be forgotten..." he says as he stands nobly, "I reward those who show true acts of kindness towards others."

stormy nodded meekly, she was so small next to the older males and her sister. "thank you." she bowed her head. the sun light was casting long shadows over the grass

"the light is falling. we should move soon. humans will be coming out.." she was right. humans would be still hot on her trail. the little rats didn't let their cattle or sheep go lightly.

stormy looked at the sky. I can feel a storm coming on.it will be a strong one." no sooner did she say that, the clouds started to get darker and the smell of rain was in the air.

Rala had been surprised when the golden male helped her sister, in fact a little more then that.
Eyes widened she had watched Stormy's wound seal closed. Amazing......

She.. unlike this strange male...had no powers. Her family line hadn't the genes for it.

Recovering from the moment Rala heard her sister's comment and realized with dread that indeed the humans would still be looking for their 'nuisance', and the storm would make them all the more vulnerable.

She looked to the golden male, nodding her thanks. After a moment she spoke, "There is a rock formation not far from here.....where the water has eaten into the side of a ridge to create a large crevice. It is sheltered from the rain and high enough we would be out of the humans' reach. Also from what I can remember it is large enough to shelter the five of us."

In saying this she was inviting both the golden male and the grey to take shelter with them.....if they wanted to of course.

Galderon nods his head, replying to Stormy's thanks. Indeed, the sun was falling fast, and humans will be coming out to play soon enough. They needed to hurry to find a hiding spot. Luckily it seems that Rala knew of a location, a rock formation to be exact. They will seek shelter there. It also seems as if he was indeed invited to come along.

He nods as a steam of breathe escapes his maw.

"I guess I will come along as well." he replies as he begins walking with them.

Ace listened quietly, Rala's comments of safety in numbers causing him to glance over his shoulder for a moment. A gentle puff of air emitting from those large nostrils as he nudged the young one he carried, continuing to eaves drop on the conversation around him.

At the sudden shock of bright light he jumped slightly, a hiss emerging his lips before spotting the larger golden male healing the smallest dark dragoness, the conversations continued and at the mention of humans he'd tense, neck arching as he shook it roughly.

"We will join you," A low voice would emerge as he nodded towards Rala at the mention of a safe spot away from the hunters and the threatening weather.

As he began to emerge from the tree line once more the little pale creature upon his back lightly grumbled growls as she return to gnawing on his spines once more. Ace merely rolled his eyes at this point and glanced a thankful nod and partial smile at the female as he waited.
