Your vision is black, you’re not asleep, and you’re certainly not dead. As far as you know. Suddenly, a celestial being comes towards you, almost floating. “You possess a power like no other…” her beautiful voice said, almost like a sweet symphony flowing into your ears, you feel at home, like you’re at peace and you belong with her. “I am Kyra, you may know me as Mother Nature. The Vygorns oppress you and my earth. You have been given the means to stop them, you are to seek out the last follower I have, the Successor of I, Phil Ripley. He has a home for you, in New York. The underground of the "Cloud 9” night club, long abandoned. The earth is met with technology." She commanded in her soft, sweet voice. That was all your vision held and suddenly you were back in reality, doing whatever you were doing. The last thing you hear is your element being whispered repeatedly, slowly fading till it could be heard no more.

VCT, Atlanta

The wind brushed past Will’s hair as he stood atop of the tower. It was a modern masterpiece, resembling a tall, circular office building. Through his mask, Will stared at the man across the other side, Vrail. Vrail cocked his fist, void circling and forming around it like mist, until he blasted it at Will, who was dressed in a black leather jacket, black jumper, black jeans and belts across his waist and body, as well as a white mask, with a purple bolt on the left eye and a thin, red mouth. “Hmph.” Will simply muttered as he formed his own void energy in his hand and caught the ball of energy. It spun in-between his fingers, snaking down his arm and growing larger. Vrail looked in shock as the weapon that he had created simply took his attack and held it in place. “Why so surprised Vrail?” Will asked, “After all, you made me this way.” He stated with spite in his voice. Will hurled the energy he had stored and built up at Vrail at a speed that his former master could never have matched. It struck Vrail square in the chest, knocking him backwards and towards the edge. Will chuckled as he slowly walked towards him.

“I AM YOUR MASTER!!!” Vrail yelled as he looked at Will from the ground. “OBEY ME!” He commanded. Will walked further and pinned him down by the neck with his boot. “Shut up.” He grunted as he held Vrail in place, Vrail struggled for air as he clawed and grasped at Will’s leg. Will bent down to his face, his voice slightly echoed due to his mask. “You forgot something, the student always surpasses the teacher.” He said. Will removed his boot and instead picked Vrail up by his throat. “And now I’ll do what you couldn’t do, truly use the Void to rule this planet.” He said, stating it as his life goal. Will walked forward and held Vrail of the edge with one hand. Vrail frantically shook his head as he gasped for air. “No… Please…” he said in-between chokes. Will simply released his grip, letting Vrail fall to his death. Will turned away, having been done with his former master. He then stared on the horizon, the daylight just breaking. “Now Phil,” He said. “I’ll wipe out you and the resistance you’re gathering. The Elementals didn’t work before, I’ll be the one to crush them now..."

"Light, light, light..." the same word rang softly in Gwen's head over and over again.

Suddenly the darkness was replaced with her normal apartment living room. But she could still hear the voice whispering, "Light...light...light." for another ten seconds until it stopped completely. Was she going insane? But the voice was soothing and convincing. She also knew about the Cloud 9 place the voice was talking about. It's about a twenty minutes walk from her apartment. She might as well go there and look for that Phil person if he even existed and if not, she'll just walk back home, she had nothing to lose and time to kill.

She changed into a plain black v-neck and a pair of torn, silver shorts. She then put on her favorite leather jacket since it was pretty cold outside. She put on her black combat boots as she walked out of her apartment and locked the door behind her. Stuffing her hands into her pockets, she began to make her way to the deserted club.

When she arrived, she noticed how run down the place looked. She held her cold hands to her mouth and breathed hot air onto them in attempt to warm them up. She walked inside the empty building. It eerily looked like no one has been here since the 60s. "So, how am I supposed to go underground?" she thought aloud. She wandered around a bit until she found a staircase leading down to who knows where. "Oh, I guess I found it."

She climbed down the stairs and found that no one was there. "Huh, should I head back then?"

SunnyD was battering her fairly new punching bag that was firmly secured to the ceiling with a new chain. Ever since she stumbled back home with money – life was fairly good. She was bringing in enough money to pay for rent, afford a few sweets to give to the kids, and new equipment. SunnyD, however, was building up some notoriety in the underground boxing tournaments. She heavily sighed in frustration. Why couldn’t life be simple?

She lunged for the bag once more before her vision blurred into black…

”You possess a power like no other…means to stop them…” Kyra’s sweet words faded away as the word ‘lightning’ was repeated before she regained her vision. She wiped the sweat off her forehead before staring at the floor, dumbfounded.

Okay.

She knew she was able to…shock people to the point where they fainted. Fuck. Oh fuck. Fight the fucking Vygoms? Her body started to tremble, but not in fear. SunnyD was excited. Little sparks of blue bounced off of her body before completely stopping as she contained the overwhelming feelings. For years

It was about time that someone tried to stop the Vygoms.

-------

In a few minutes, Sunny was already heading out to Club9. It was around six blocks away, not too far, so she decided to walk instead. She had showered and pulled on some decent-looking clothes; a tank-top, jeans, and a light jacket. Ah shit. It was cold. She sneezed once and rubbed her nose, almost tempted to head back home. After all, that ‘vision’ was weird. Maybe her ‘powers’ were messing with her mind. However she kept on holding to that foolish hope of usurping the Vygoms… Maybe, just maybe.

By the time Sunny reached Cloud 9, she was a shivering mess. God, she would have to buy a new jacket as hers was thread-bare. She went downstairs, coming face to face with another young woman. Instinctively, Sunny stepped a few paces back and warily eyed the girl.

"Hey, why're you here?" She asked, almost curious. Cloud 9 had closed years ago... Could the girl have had the same dream as well?

Mother Nature, huh? What a load of crap.

Nick was on his fire escape, looking out at the city. It was never quiet, never dark, not even in the middle of the night, and Nick knew it better than any other. He had all his life.

Metal... Metal... Metal...

That was it, wasn't it? Metal. Everything he saw was metal. Metal buildings, metal tools, metal world. The city was the work of humans - people like him, who'd carved a place for themselves in the chaos of the world. They rejected the world of 'Mother Nature', built a new one made of metal. And now they were enslaved, and 'Mother Nature' wanted to help them? Not a chance.

As the voice faded out, Nick was well prepared to disregard it all together. His powers were one thing, but the idea that some sort of voice was sending him a vision to help him free his people? That was more than he could believe. It was a trap, probably. Maybe his two-bit campaign anarchy against Vygorn control had garnered him some attention, and now they were trying to off him.

But... what if he wasn't the only one being called? What if there were others like him, who'd been empowered? Who wanted to break the system, set people free? He had to chance it, he realized with a sinking feeling. If there were even a possibility that he could find allies, it'd be better to risk a trap then continue struggling alone, in vain, night after night.

Nick walked back into his apartment and grabbed his hoodie off his bed. He took a moment to tape the sleeves closed, locate the length of chain he carried, and wrap it around his hand. Then, with a deep breath, strode back out into the night. Cloud 9 was maybe ten minutes away. He could get there in five.

Up the fire escape, onto the roof. Sprint across, onto another, then a third. A brief burst of power, another fire escape swinging into place, a jump, up again. He continued like this for six minutes before he landed and rolled just outside Cloud 9, somewhat disappointed at his time.

He pushed the door open warily, unwinding his chain and letting it drag on the ground behind him. There was a staircase, so he took it, only to come face to face with two young women. It appeared his hunch was correct.

"You guys get called too? Hell, and here I was feeling all special."

Serena Meyers stared at her new, fresh painting, radiating with pride. It had taken her weeks to finish it but looking at it now made every second spent worth it. It was of a mythical forest filled with endless mazes and trees. A small child was venturing through the trails, searching for something Serena hadn't decided yet.

She was still staring at the painting when a black vision took over her.

"Flora,Flora,Flora...", a soft voice whispered as she broke free from the dream. Instead of the beautiful painting she had spent weeks on, a dark underground place, what the vision called Cloud 9, sat drawn on her canvas. What just happened....? Mother Nature? Serena honestly had no idea of what to make of the vision. It's seemed ridiculous that someone wanted her help to destroy the Vygoms. A clumsy girl of 18, yet she did have a unique ability no girl her age had. She could grow and give life to plants, something she thought dearly of. Maybe this was finally her chance to use her gift for good. It certainly didn't hurt to try.

Throwing on her woman's white trench coat over her skinny jeans and stripped sweater, Serena made her way to Cloud 9. She felt goosebumps crawl up her arm, chilling her to the bone the moment she saw the abandoned night club. Dead plants surrounded the entire building and her heart sank. Instantly, Serena touched the ground, willing life to the grass, even allowing pink lilies to grow. Just a touch of green and the place was already looking much better. Serena smiled and made her way into the building.

She wandered around for several minutes, begging for nothing to pop out at her, until she found a staircase leading down to what Serena hoped was the basement. Before she could stop herself, Serena tripped over her untied shoelaces and flew back, her butt hitting the staircase. A loud screech echoed throughout the house as she tumbled down the bumpy stairs. She fell to the bottom with a loud thump and looked up to find three unfamiliar faces. A bright blush heated her face. Way to make an interesting entrance...

"Umm... Hi.", She said.

John was shaken back to reality by the sound of glass breaking. Water, water, water. John looked down at the water that was slowly seeping into his black socks. He had just gotten a glass of water when the vision had come. He'd dropped his glass in the process as well. "Well shit," he said before waving his hand over the floor. The water split apart and each droplet encased a piece of glass. The droplets floated towards the trash can where they dropped in one by one.

I guess I found my plans for the day John thought to himself. He plodded into the bedroom of his beach house, a place that he'd gotten using the money he'd taken out before fleeing from his home town. He changed out of his sweats and socks and instead put on a t-shirt, a blue hoodie, and some white skinny jeans. He slipped into some black Converse and brushed a hand through his messy hair. "Cloud 9 awaits," he said to himself as he walked out the door.

He finally reached the old building, the sign above the door telling him that he was in the right place. He pushed open the door and quickly found the stairs. Holding onto the railing, he trotted down until he came to the last step. A girl was laying on the floor, blocking his way down. He spotted two other girls, and a guy, already waiting in the basement. "I hope I'm not late. I wasn't aware that there were others getting creepy mind messages from Mother Nature," John said, grinning.

Darkness... Darkness... Darkness...

Jason hear repeated over and over, even when he was snapped out of that strange... State he'd fond himself in. When his vision returned, his team was on the losing edge, he was dead and-

"DEFEAT."

"FUCK!" Jason cried, smashing his head into his desk, or rather, through it again and landing on the floor. "Uuuuurgh...! Goddamnit! Right when we were about to get into a fight! The hell was that about anyway?!" He got himself up and brushed his clothes off, cleaerly pissed. "You know what? Yeah. I'll go there and give you a good knuckle supper for making me lose!" Blatant lies, of course. It was already lost. But whatever works as a channel to let his anger out. Not even bothering to brush that messy hair of his and easily sliding into his shoes the angry little kid bolted for the door. "Jason wa-" His Mother's voice rang out from behind, but the door was already closed on her.

About half way there they realised something funny. "Wait, Isn't C9 an E-Sports company? ...Heeeeey... That actually doesn't sound to bad!" A stupid grin came on his face, looking around the city for the next stop. Actually, he had no idea why he knew where the place was but, somehow, Jason did. It took him another 20 minutes to arrive, yawing a bit and opening the door with gusto. "CLOUD NINE HERE I- Oh." Much to his dissapointment there were no C9 decoratins or shirts but only regular people sitting there. "Ah, what the hell? I thought this was C9's place... And why are you all here anyway?!" walking down the stairs for, actually no reason, Jason sat next to the wall far away from the others.

"Great... I got baited." He mumbles underneath his breath.

In collaboration with @Jabking

-“The Base”-

This is the base Kyra was talking about. The rough cavern walls were quite a contrast to the small computers that littered the base. After conversing with each other, you find no sign of Phil Ripley, the successor of Kyra. After a few minutes, shouting could be heard and clattering. You can all hear the sound of a man scrambling towards you. “Help me!” He screams, standing up and running to you. He then turned around and blasted a fireball at a masked man behind him. The masked man swiped his hand from left to right, and a small wall of pure black energy emanated from his arm. It wasn’t shadow, it was just, solid nothingness. It looked weird and had an uneasy feel about it. The ball of fire hurtled straight into it, smashing against the shield but done nothing. The man then fired his own ball of energy at the man who threw the fireball, clearly a fire elemental. Still scared and shocked from the way the masked assailant treated his attack like nothing. It knocked him back but not enough to put him on the floor. Then the man with the mask surged into the black energy and rushed forward. The energy rushed behind the fire elemental, then transformed into the masked man again. The man twisted his hips as he retracted his leg, before extended it back out, kicking the man in the spine. The fire elemental screamed out in pain as his back was met with a brutal kick. As the man fell on the floor, the masked man circled his finger as he pointed at him. A collar of black energy snaked its way around his neck and was lifted up as the masked man lifted his hand up. The man choked as he was dangling up in his neck. The man turned around to the other 10 elementals. “Eight elementals all in one place so far? This is a treat.” And with that, the man clasped his hand into a fist, crushing the neck of the fire elemental.

Suddenly, A hooded man, brandishing a staff of what seemed to be solid light, appeared from one of the corridors; He spoke in a threatening, yet oddly calm voice "You bastard, I'll make you wish you hadn't done that". With that, the man phased from existence only to reappear right in front of the masked man a few feet off the ground. Using gravity, he brung his staff down on top of the masked man's head and leaped back right after landing. The man spun towards the new voice and instantly reeled back from a staff of pure light being slammed on his head. Rubbing his head, The masked man turned his view to the new opponent. "Phil..." He said with a chuckle. "So good to see you." He said, smiling behind his mask manically. He then cackled like a psycho as he slowly took of his mask. "Remember me?" He said with a smile. He then took a sarcastic and over the top bow before putting his mask back on. "Nine elementals now. Today really IS my lucky day." The hooded man, presumably Phil, seemed to tense up. "You once had my respect... But now you only have my spite, I will kill you without a second though". Phil then leaned forwards and launched himself towards the masked man, screaming "Now Die!!" Anticipating the attack, the man simply shifted to the right. "Maybe, but not today." The man said coyly. Then he turned to everyone else. "I bid you adieu!" He said, then he ran out of the cave, using his dark energy again as a quick getaway. Phil rolled to recover from the momentum. He turned back to where the masked man was standing, finally realising that he had fled. "Damn" he muttered to himself, sighing in disappointment. Turning towards the Elemental, now deceased, Phil's expression soured as he spoke. "rest in peace" was his only words to the Elemental as he waved his hand gracefully. The elemental's body then shone bright and, in the blink of an eye, turned into nothing but light particles that quickly disappeared themselves.

Then he turned towards the ten other Elementals, His face seemed blank and calm. "I know that wasn't the most... Encouraging introduction" He spoke clearly, full of purpose. "My name is Phillip Ripley, I am known as the successor of Kyra". Then, Both his expression and voice became slightly more casual as he continued to speak "But just call me Phil. Now, I'm sure you have many questions, so please don't hesitate to ask before I show you around."

At first Ethan tried to ignore that the whole vision thing even happened, after it was ridiculous to think that Mother Nature was real. But the thought that a human controlling Earth was just outlandish kept nagging at him, that combined with his curiosity and the off chance that he might be able help thousands if not millions of humans led him to using google maps to find Cloud 9 expecting to find nothing.

Not even five minutes later he was on his bike heading to the location of the club. When he finally got there after about twenty minutes, the overly vibrant plants were the first thing he noticed. After getting of his bike and chaining it to a streetlight he confirmed his suspicions, the ground looked way too poor for them to grow there. "Okay so maybe Mother Nature is real, or someone just planted these."He said to himself before going down the stairs.

When he reached the bottom he noticed others had beaten him there. Before he could say anything some weird fight broke out that ended in one person dying and seemingly disintegrating. After it was over the victor introduced himself as Phil Ripley the successor Kyra told him to find.

Nick pulled his hood back down over his head and flicked his chain over his shoulder. "Well, that was all very dramatic." He shot a glance down to the girl who'd crashed down the stairs a moment ago. "Honey, you might wanna stand up. I have a feeling shit's about to get even weirder."

He stepped forward, out of the group of... 'Elementals', or whatever the masked man had called them. Was that what they were? Elementals? Well, maybe that applied to Sir Torchy McDeadsalot or whoever the fire-throwing man was, but Nick didn't exactly feel a part of that. Metal wasn't an element, Metal was the thing that beat the elements into submission.

He let his eyes wander over the group. Christ, but they were young. Most of them looked like college students - the one with the messy hair and the greasy face looked like a teenager. Nick had a sinking feeling that he might be the oldest among them, which probably wasn't good seeing as how he was a minimum wage hoodlum who spent his nights breaking security cameras and graffiti-ing buildings. Hell, at least he read a lot, too.

"Alright, Phil," he said striding towards the man. "Let's talk about all this. Seems to me like you called us here, I don't know how and I don't know why. I don't know what that shit was with Masky, I don't know what 'Elementals' are, I don't have any idea what the hell is going on." With his left hand, the one that wasn't holding the chain over his shoulder, Nick poked the man in the chest. "We deserve an explanation. Start from the beginning. Condensed, easy-to-follow, informative. Who are you? What do you want with us? What does this have to do with Vygorns? Do they all have powers too? What'd they get, plastic? Paper? Unvarnished wood?"

He took a step back and spread his arms out. "And leave out all that hoodoo-voodoo, Kyra, 'Mother Nature' bullshit, okay?"

A couple more people arrived and Sunny's suspicions were on point. They were all called here by the Mother Nature. She sighed, gazing at everyone's faces. They were young and Sunny wouldn't be surprised if she turned out to be on of the oldest. Heavens, what in the world possessed her to come to this place? "Silly SunnyD, you wanted to beat up some Vygoms. Remember?" Yeah. She did.

Then some masked guy killed someone, presumably another elemental, and was then promptly driven off by Phil. Fuck. She was so going to get something strong to drink after this. She just saw someone get murdered in front of her and now the corpse turned into sparkles. Apparently, the guy who drove off Mr. Mask was the successor to Mother Nature and was entirely too...chill about what had just occurred moments before. Before she could start angrily asking questions at this 'Phil' guy, one of the other elementals beat her to it. So Sunny just stayed in the back, her arms crossed together as she waited for some answers.

Gwen was surprised at first but agreed with the one of the guys who was already pounding Phil with questions. She began to regret coming here and wished she had stayed home. She wasn't a hero, she couldn't save anyone; she'd already failed before. And all these other pansies were supposed to be like her? They don't even look they would have a fighting chance against the Vygoms, they would be destroyed before they could say the words, 'We surrender'. This was a mistake.

She began to run her fingers through her hair and sighed aloud. "I really shouldn't be here. Look, I'm certain I'm not the girl you're looking for. I may have some weird powers and stuff, but I'm not the hero type and fighting against the Vygoms and possibly dying in the process isn't on my agenda. So I'm going to go."

John was in shock. He'd just watched someone get killed, and then become light particles. One of the others stepped forward, demanding an explanation. John ran a hand through his hair and the shock was wiped off of his face, replaced by intrigue. "I agree with Shouty over there," John said gesturing towards the guy who was demanding answers. "What the hell is going on and what does it have to do with our powers?"

John had always thought that his powers could be used for something better. He'd just never imagined that they'd be used for a rebellion. It doesn't matter though. If it helps people I'm going to do it. God damnit being a good person is a struggle John thought to himself. It was true though. He knew that whoever that murderer had been, he was evil. And most certainly anyone connected with him was probably pretty evil themselves.

Serena wiped off the dirt from her pants and stood beside the others, still embarrassed by her fall. All of her thoughts were diminished as the fight broke out. Serena gasped in shock as she watched the masked man kill the fire elemental. A small tear cascaded down her face. She had never known this man, but it was her first time seeing death. Maybe coming here was a mistake? She thought to herself.

She glanced around the room, getting a good look at everyone's faces. Most people seemed around her age, but two were probably in their late twenties. It could have been any one of them tonight. What was stopping the coldhearted murderer from coming back? It seemed obvious that Phil and him had a complicated past and Serena wasn't sure if she was ready to hear it. She wasn't sure she was ready to hear any of this. Serena was only 18 years old after all.

One of the older boys began demanding answers from Phil. Before he could explain himself, a girl stepped forward and openly admitted she was going to leave. Serena contemplated joining her because the girl's words were completely honest and true. Call it her gut feeling, or her intuition, but something was telling her to stay. The least she could anyway do was hear Phil out.

"Before you go, maybe you should let Phil explain everything? I mean, you've come all this way. Why don't we all introduce ourselves too? My name's Serena and I'm 18 years old. I have the ability to grow and control plants. What about you?", She asked the girl about to leave.

Gwen looked at the girl who called out after her. Serena, was it? She looked like an innocent, naive girl who didn't understand how cruel the world could be. Nonetheless, Gwen couldn't will herself to hate a girl like that, she reminded her of who she used to be before everything in her life went downhill. She decided to stay, only because the girl asked her too. "Gwen." she answered simply. "I'm also eighteen. I guess, I have the power to manipulate light and heal things."

She didn't really use her powers that often, nor did she understand them. That Phil character, she assumed, was going to explain everything to them later. Either way, she was only going to stay a little while. She doubt anything he said would change her mind about saving the world and all that crap.

What... What the FUCK just happened? A man got killed right in front of Jason's eyes, him completely tensed up and frozen in shock. The others around him seemed more calm, wait, how could they?! Someone just died! Alright, alright... Jason just needed a moment to catch his breath and relax. He didn't want to die as well out of panic. Someone was starting to ask questions. Older than him. More experienced. Yeah, he should just let him handle all this. ...And where was that girl going? Did she just stop? Oh, wait, someone asked her to.

Wait now they were introducing eachother? Goddamnit! "...Jason. Jason Denarium." The slumped over boy said. "I... I think I have something akin to shadows? I'm not quite... Sure. I just fall through my desk and chairs at random whenever I get really tense..." Jason was still... Not all that sure about what was going on. "What the hell have I gotten myself into...." Burying his head into his arms, the black haired boy just wanted to fade away right now.

Wow. Angry little one... Phil thought as one of the elementals demanded answers. I do owe the answers though he thought as he backed up.
Phil then removed his hood, showing his pure white hair. As soon as he did, however, he turned away from the group of elementals and started looking around the base.

"Hey Toran!!" Phil shouted as he scanned the base with his eyes "there here, come on!!" After a few awkward moments, a ball of light was floating at head height between Phil and the elementals. After Phil turned around, the ball of light dimmed to reveal a small white dragon, the dragon was no bigger than a microwave and had a enlightening aura.

"So these are the new elementals? They sure are... Colourful..." Toran said, almost with disappointment. "Toran, be nice. I was hoping you could explain our situation." The dragon sighed as it flew around to land on Phil's outstretched arm. Toran then spoke in a clear and surprisingly loud voice for his size. "Listen carefully, I will not explain twice. You are all hygorns, though people do prefer elemental in stead. As you have undoubtedly discovered, you control an element from this planet. These powers where given to you by..." He stopped to look at the prior elemental who had the out burst. "someone important... Anyway, the reason you were given your powers is because this planet has been threatened by the Vygorns, controllers of 'Void'. Void is the opposite of energy, it destroys life and harms anything it comes into contact with. Now Phil is one of the two surviving elementals from 20 years ago. The other is Will Mason, a Hygorn corrupted by the Void, driven mad. He is the one who killed the others, he even nearly killed Phil and I multiple times. To get to the point, we, as in earth, need you. If we can't stop this threat, everyone and everything will be destroyed. We're not forcing you to stay here, but we need your help."

"Thanks Toran" Phil said as Toran flew off down a corridor behind Phil. "So... Yeah, hope you all got that... Umm... Anymore questions?"

Ethan wanted to just walk away and ignore what he saw like he tried to with the vision that brought him here. The whole thing was just too strange for words after all, but he knew that if he went up those stairs again but his curiosity and conscience wouldn't give him any rest." Uhm yeah I have a question, if those Vygom's have been here for at least twenty years how come I never heard of them before?" After asking that to the dragon he turned to the other humans to introduce himself. "Before I forget, I'm Ethan and I guess I control stone and sand that kinda stuff."

Jason's blood was going everywhere, but his brain wasn't one of the those. This is ridiculous. Now way. He's 16, they can't POSSIBLY be asking this of him. No. No. NO. Raising his head from between his arms, the youngest member just stares at... A dragon. Things keep getting more and more weird. "Seriously? You're basically saying we're supposed to become Heroes. Why? What is so special about any of us, hell, ME? Until just now I was, literally, just sitting on my ass playing videogames. I Don't go outside. I don't excersise. I jut sit on my ass. And then you tell me I got the power of... Whatever I have, because I was chosen? This is just a joke, right? Right?! Oh my god..." The guy now just looked up atthe ceiling. If his ghost could leave Jason's body, it would do it right then and there. They were on the edge of fainting from shock.

"Nick. I do metal. You know, fences, chains, gizmos, guns and knives and stuff."

This was a lot to process. He'd just come to terms with the fact that he'd been given special powers to fight the Vygorn control, and now he was in the basement of an abandoned building hanging out with a bunch of kids who had la-la magic nature powers, being told he was a 'Hygorn' or whatever by a fucking dragon.

He rubbed his brow. "Yeah, I'm gonna be honest, Phil, I'm more confused now than I think I've ever been in my life. No more explanations, I feel like at this rate, they're just gonna get weirder and weirder. How about you just... tell us exactly what yall want us to do, and let us talk it over? Believe me, I'd love to bust the Vygorns a new one, but I'm gonna need a bit more to go on."
