Hey! I'm Redward and this is where I'll be putting ideas that I think will work best with a small group (being three or four people) or just a couple. They'll be marked, or at least hinted at. I hope you'll find some merit to them and that I can somehow prod you into being interested in writing with me! So, here goes! First up, "Sleepyhead Syndrome"! Before I get to that, though, I'm going to warn you; I like to to do flavor intros. Please be patient with me. I know my ideas can get convoluted and stupid...but, please...just be patient. Also, this is a big {wip} for me right now. Updates will be made regularly to include ideas/status/availability.
Ethereal Reality was abuzz with activity. The Augury shone through the bubble of red static that surrounded it, an assortment of shifting gears and lenses; suspended in a womb of spatial metadata. Stolen, for all intents and purposes, and sealed away with Zone Moderator Zero, the device had suffered some damage during its travel between Existences. Suddenly, the mechanical maw arranged its self into a coherent sphere; rotating in time with the static shell surrounding it.
The Augury is aligned, madame. Corporeal Reality Shard Zero-Zero-Zero is undergoing scrying processes. Will your viewing selection be the same today as it has-
There was a small laugh, distant, accompanied by a porcelain smile lingering between flickering golden stars. A scythe's blade of white amidst the nebulous umbrage of Moderated Zone 1, slightly obscured by the Augury's rotations. She stepped lightly around the device, gliding through space despite her odd motions. A girl-shaped hole in a void, she was hardly noticeable; save for her razor-sharp and contrasting smile.
No, Ainsley, came a mechanical response, bored and monotone, today will be the same. Adjust Resonance levels to better compensate for increased systemic corruption.
The Construct did as bid, setting the Augury into a whirring frenzy. Corporeal Reality began to overlap the Ethereal Shard that contained the Augury. As Ethereal Existence became enveloped by the Corporeal Reality Shard, the flow of Time began again. She watched as the Sun burst into existence, casting down rays of light into a bustling city; nestled seaside. Life began to appear last, after the tapestry was woven and the pieces set in place.
Everything is perfect, the Zone Moderator said to herself, flashing another smile as the corporeal world negated her existence. The Augury was locked in place and things would begin again, from the beginning. With the first notable day in the events leading to a grave systemic disruption.

The idea: Corporeal Reality (the "Real World") is going to end soon. Except it's not...except it is. Your character is stuck in a time loop, caused by contact with a "virus" when the end of the world originally occurred; well, that's not the cause...it's the reason. The reason is because Zone 000, in its corrupted state, was to reach its destined conclusion (the aforementioned apocalypse) the Corporeal Reality Shard would be dissembled and assimilated back into Existence. So, in her desperation, Zone Moderator 1 has locked the Augury (which determines what Reality exists over that Ethereal Space). However, I'm thinking that this particular cycle will be interrupted or made to go awry; opening the possibility of discovering the truth to your character, while simultaneously endangering all of everything that's ever existed.
I'll make my character based on what you wanna do. I was thinking this could work for just a 1x1 and that we could collaborate on a lot of what's gonna happen and details and such! Interested?

I'd like to do something free-form and free-flowing in a fantasy setting. Will add more about this, here in a bit. I've half a mind to make it a revenge story. I dunno what that entails, yet, but I'm working on it.
Each year when the Chromatic Comet crashes down in Seaside City, shortly after the trees shift to their golds and crimsons, the Fall War begins. A time honored tradition, in which students are grouped by their homerooms or clubs are pitted against one another in a grand display of human brutality and depravity. The day following the touchdown of the Chromatic Comet is when it begins. When the bell rings, chaos is set free. Blood spills across the halls and the streets are enraptured with the furor of young hearts beating out a symphony of victory.
Why does the Fall War exist? Why must the students pit themselves against their peers in ruthless combat? For a grade. Their grade and the secular comfort of their family. Those who succeed...those who are not culled, find themselves granted all the comforts that the mundane world can offer. Money, new clothes, fine dining...a new life at the top. Yet there exists a darker purpose behind the annual ritual. The Chromatic Comet is not as it appears...and a shadowy hand pulls the strings behind every event that transpires while the Fall War is underway.
What I Want To Say:
The Fall War is a tribute to countless anime, intended to be light-hearted at times and soul-wrenchingly grim at others. What I intend with this bizarre amalgamation of tropes and twists is to provide everyone with a forum to express their creativity; within the bounds of a unique and deeply flavored setting. This story is to be one of struggle and strife...of flowers blooming in the volcanic wastes of despair.
What we'll be doing is taking control of a group of students from homeroom 3-D, all of which will be competing in the Fall War. While the initial stages will involve becoming accustomed to our characters and their abilities...creating social links and rivalries. Soon, we will begin to unravel the mysteries of the Chromatic Comet, The Fall War and the Arch Principal.
Each character will have a set of abilities unique to themselves. Those that choose to do so will be a host to an ancient 'living weapon', known as a Guardian Spirit. Created before humanity had written the first syllable of its long history, these Guardian Spirits were created for the sole purpose of combat. It is from combat that they grow and thrive. However, those who are host to a Guardian Spirit run the risk of being possessed by it; surrendering their free will to their former weapon.
If this catches your eye, or interest, please post here with your questions or comments. I wouldn't mind doing this one as a group-based RP. Or a 1x1. I have a character in mind that I'll post later.

"Why do they always choose kids to pilot those things?" His desk was polished, like it always was, and empty of any personal touches aside from that alone. He stood with his back to the one staring at her own reflection in it, gazing out over a bustling courtyard; tone somewhere between amused and genuinely disturbed.
"They don't. There are plenty of adult pilots, they just don't get the same attention." She applied lipstick, an odd shade of grey that matched the smoky rings around her eyes. "A soldier's a soldier. A kid's a prodigy, until they're old enough just to be another soldier." She sat back, eyes up. He turned, slightly, hands sliding into his pockets. "Don't give me that look. It's true. The war's over, though. Integrating the Llangeli won't be that tough."
A phantom smile flickered somewhere beneath his glasses. "No, it won't. They're surprisingly adept at acclimating to differing cultures." The Llangeli, strangers who had come as enemies under a tyrant's banner; bearing fire for Earth. Now, they had abandoned the path set for them by their fallen. "That's a cause for concern, too. Close to one-third of the students in my school are now trained Llangeli soldiers. Don't you think that's a cause for concern, Miss Dullahandreiche?"
She put on a thoughtful face, just for show. "No, not really. The only varying factor that seems present in your school is the preexisting presence of trained human soldiers." The game they were playing was now apparent. She took it in stride and made her move. "Did you have any problems from them, before the war started? Or ended?" Now, a smile. "I've looked over the records, so there's no reason to answer that." Alessandera Dullahandreiche maintained her smile, but her words were laced with polite steel. "I was brought here for a reason, Mister Sayer. I suggest you allow me to handle the matter until such a time as I'm seen as unfit for the job; should that time ever arise."
A hand came up, the stoic's resignation. "Fine. You've impressed me." It didn't show, with his back still to mostly to her. "They'll be moved into your class, six pilots of each race. Along with some 'regular' students." Ms. Dullahandreiche smiled a little more broadly, glad to see the exchange was over. "You know the way to your room. Send word when you're ready."
"Of course. Thank you, Mister Sayer." She left his office, checking the inside of her cuffs.
The Idea: I think this one's pretty clear on what I have in mind. We'll be playing pilots. Actually I was hoping to play lots of Characters in a setting like this. Earth, two weeks after a major war with alien invaders ended. Details can be discussed if the idea interests you. Also, there are mechs. Hell yes.

Open for RPs! Sleepyhead Syndrome and A Short Exchange are my favored, at the moment, but I am open for anything! If you have an idea, please feel free to share!
