Personality: Benji is guided by a strong moral compass and a dogmatic sense of personal justice. She feels condemned by actions her father took that she had absolutely no control over. She tries hard to be a model vault citizen believing that loyalty to the vault is paramount above all else. Through this behavior she seeks to reconcile the sins of her father with her own place in the vault.

Biography: Benji was seven when her father left the vault. She remembers the night the attack happened and cowering with her mother as her neighbors were killed. When she graduated the vault academy she tested highly for leadership, but due to her fathers past and the generally negative response other vault dwellers have towards her family, she was assigned to vault maintenance. Gregory Morgan has a soft spot for Benji having seen her work ethic on a regular basis.

Decided to put it here.

I feel that it might be a bit rough but here it is (Added little Stat things for fun):

Name: Howard De'Facto

Sex: Male

Age: 23

Personality: Howard is a fairly awkward individual, not being very charismatic or sociable for that matter, often stumbling over his own words and stuttering uncontrollably. He is also easily frightened, after having spent most of his adult life in a small workshop, he's developed a condition that's made him very skittish due to the quiet nature of his work, this coupled with how flustered he can become make for good entertainment. However, what he lacks in his ability to socialize, he makes up in his technical know how, understanding both computers and mechanics through his experience with PIPboys and handy with a lock pick, having learnt the skill to be able to open up his mother's cigarette box, so he is crafty and resourceful, being able to think quick on his toes and with relative speed. Howard, when not working failing socially, is found staring into space blankly, often whisking himself into an imaginative world where he was a cool guy, had a motorcycle and could talk to girls.

Biography: Howard was born to two parents who both worked in maintenance and had gotten very friendly when fixing the piping in the lower levels. He had spent most of his childhood between his room and school, occasionally finding himself in some dark stairway where he was often picked on by older, stronger piers. As he grew up, his social ability had never improved, his father had died in a freak recycler accident and his mom turned to cigarettes and unsafe booze she distilled in the toilet from dinner leftovers, leaving no one to look after him. When he passed his Vault issued test (and to his dismay not the G.O.A.T.), he was designated to maintenance, like his parents. Initially he complained, wanting to be in admin so he could spend more time with his crush, Sophie Prescott but soon he got settled into the job, having completed his maintenance course and being put on PIPboy duty for the foreseeable future. However, as he worked more, he spiraled uncontrollably down a path of self destruction, taking up smoking by stealing cigarettes from his mother and spending longer, more antisocial hours in his workshop, to the annoyance of his supervisor.

Skills/Traits:
-Lock Pick: Howard picked up this rather handy skill from a pre-war magazine, Locksmith’s Reader. It showed him how to pick basic locks like his mother’s cigarette box but nothing like a heavy door (or a normal door for that matter…). (Tagged: Lockpick)

-Hack: Being a PIPboy repair specialist, one of the main issues that he came across was computer glitches and forgotten passwords, forcing him to learn his way around computer programming and most importantly, how to bypass security. He can hack reasonable security parameters but can’t hack for example, the Overseer’s office terminal. (Tagged: Science)

-Repair: He is handy when it comes to general fixes, being able to put back together broken radios or finding out why a service panel isn’t working. Though this knowledge doesn’t extend to guns, as he had never handled one, let alone take one apart to see how it worked. (Tagged: Repair)

-Addiction/Smoker/Med-X: Howard has a smoking problem, often needing his cigarette to calm his nerves, or he starts to feel sick (Unknown to him, his mother’s cigarettes are laced with Med-X, so he is actually addicted to the drug and less so the nicotine). (Going through withdrawal he suffers Charisma -1, Perception -1, DT -1)

-Antisocial: Years of neglectful parenting, bullying at school and a psychologically draining mind numbing job have turned Howard to a person who has difficulty communicating felling, meaning, transactions and pretty much anything, being awkward to talk to and leaving a lasting impression. (Charisma -1, Speech -3, Barter -3)

Starting Inventory:
-Vault Utility Jumpsuit: A standard blue Vault 142 Jumpsuit, modified with a tool belt containing basic tools, made with a denser fiber to protect against minor burns and sharp tools. Has a small flashlight mounted in the left front pocket (DT +2, Repair +2, Melee Weapons +2).

-Teddy Bear: A plush, stuffed animal whose origins predate the sealing of the vault. It is made from synthetic fibers and has two black beady eyes and a cute little nose. He found it in a loose floor panel in his room and has grown an attachment to the comforting feeling it gives. Has a zipper in the back where he hides cigarettes and a lighter (Speech +2, Charisma if seen -1).

-PIPboy M-3000: A maintenance version of the stock PIPboy 3000, the M-3000 differs from it’s cousin because of the more functions it can do, filled with programs like computer bypass parameters and a brighter light to name a few. It has a light blue paint job and has a gas leak detector dial along with the RAD meter, it is also much heavier for some reason. (Agility -1, Repair +3, Science +3)

Name: Jack Sullam

Sex: Male

Age: 31

Personality: I prefer not to restrict myself here so I will be brief. Jack is hard working and pragmatic. He has no time for useless things and is willing to teach so long as someone is willing to learn. He can be cold and harsh when working but then friendly and smooth when relaxing. For him personal and professional are two separate worlds and he keeps them that way.

Bio: Jack was 16 when the former overseer opened the vault. Before that Jack had been your average guy. The GOAT put him into sercurity and he spent the few days of calmness afterwords learning the basics of policing a vault. However when the bandits came Jack was forced to learn about fighting the old fashioned way. Either live, or die. During the fighting he learnt how to shoot, maintain a gun and kill with both firearm and knife. Some would say Jack saw too much violence for someone in his late teens but at the time, Jack was all they had to use. He ended up with an assualt rifle, which he kept notches in fir each of his kills. By the time the vault was finally shut Jack had over thirty notches and an almost racist view on the outside world. In his mind he had helped save the vault from the outside world.

After that Jack spent a number of years helping to rebuild. Eventually though the vault struggled for numbers and Jack ended hiding his assault rifle and its ammo in his room, since all of the outside contraband should have been a accounted for, and forced to pick up a wrench for the vault. In this spare time he started the Vault Fighting Ring and has made most of his money fighting there, rather than the pitiful allowance from vault work.

Skills/Traits:
Calm Under Fire: Jack grew up essentially under fire. He knows hpw to stay calm and collected even when death could by just around the corner.

Marksmen: Jack was damned good at killing, he became adept at shooting and is quite an acomplished gunman. He rarely misses.

Apprentice Gunsmith: Jack has had too maintain, strip and clean his own rifle. This means that he can do that for others and knows the basics of how a gun works. He is by no means an engineer though.

Charismatic: Jack is vocally anti-open vault and has been known to speak to collegues about the dangers. Reminding those of what happened last time it happened.

Untrusting: Jack doesnt trust easily, especially those from outside of the vault, and this comes from the violence of his life.

Mild PTSD: Jack feels at home when he is fighting. The adrenaline, the suspense. Violence makes him feel alive, the reason behind the fighting, and this means he struggles to relax and despises the calmness of the current vault situation.

Inventory:
Assault Rifle: Jacks personal firearm which he liberated from a bandit. It has a number of notches in the top of the wooden foregrip. As well as 3 magazines of ammunition.

Standard Issue Vault Sercurity Jumpsuot: Standard black jumpsuit with 'Sercurity' emblazoned on the back and extra armour sewn into the chest and joints. He was not asked to gove his jumpsuit back despite reassignment.

Standard Issue Pip-Boy 3000: not much too say here...

Combat Knife: Another liberated gift from bandits that Jack keeps on his person. He has never drawn it on a vault member and never intends too, he does use it as a tool but does not want to use it on anyone he holds dear.

Name: Derrick Cruz

Personality: Cautious, A man of action and not so much of words, strong moral compass. Not a fan of violence.

Biography: This all starts with Derrick's Great Great Grandfather. Charles, originally from San Antonio, Texas, and is the adopted son of Gabriela and Martin Cruz; a Hispanic family that secured a spot in Vault 148 when everyone else was fleeing to the Vaults. Derrick's father was abandoned as a baby and the Cruz's never knew who his biological parents were. They found him on their doorstep wrapped in a towel just as they were heading out their door to head to NY. There was a note that simply said: "Hi, My name is Charles. My family can't save me or keep me but maybe you will." They couldn't just leave him and they had enough supplies for the trio so they took him along. He was barely a new born when they arrived in New York with their entire life savings in hand hoping to get a spot in one of the Vaults there. They got in. It nearly cost them their entire life savings, but they made it. A freshly built shiny new Vault called, Vault 148. A technological marvel of the time period. Maybe it would keep them safe through all the madness to come though. Just maybe.




After many years of being in the Vault, Charles, Derrick's Great Great Grandfather, had a single boy; as the parents of the Vault were strictly limited to one child each. And from there the family continued, each subsequent generation having a single boy until now. Derrick Cruz was born and is now 28 years old. The only woman he has ever loved currently sick with cancer. This is where his story really begins.

Skills/Traits:

Positive:

Medic: Derrick has been practicing medicine since he first showed aptitude for it at a young age. Derrick can perform life saving measures as well as minor to advanced surgeries with the right tools and medications. He has the Vault equivalent education of a surgeon.

Faithful Companion: Derrick is no longer opposed to violence. When a friend or loved one is down, Derrick fights harder and more confidently.

Tactician: Derrick constantly runs scenarios in his head before any important action. He doesn't like not being prepared. This makes him good at making plans for others.

Friend in Every Town: Derrick has no problem making friends and learning information from them wherever he goes.

Negative:

Meticulous: Derrick plans and prepares everything in detail, and isn't the best at improvising when things don't go as planned.

Cautious: This one could be good or bad. Sometimes Derrick is too cautious of others and that forces him to keep his distance at times.

Personality: Gruff and reserved, even with whiskey coursing through his system.

Biography: Years before the opening of the vault by John Hargrave and the massacre of Vault Staff, Jimmy was married to a wonderful wife, Destiny, who worked in the Kitchens. It was a cat and mouse affair but Jimmy finally mustered up the courage to ask her out. Their love blossomed and soon he asked his wife to marry him, sadly he had no ring passed down from father to father so he made his own out of tungsten carbide to symbolize unbreakable love. Years after they had a daughter and when she was fifteen years old the vault was opened and raiders flooded in. His daughter and wife were taken and the only way he could get them back was to trade weapons. That forced Jimmy to break in the armory an steal some sub machine guns. When Jimmy received his daughter, Emma, she was hooked on drugs and was brutally ravaged and his wife was in worse shape, she was dead. His daughter was pregnant from the encounter and killed herself only months later by ODing on Med-X. This crippling loneliness left Jimmy to turn to the bottle swallowing his feeling with each tumbler of whiskey.
