Bio: Nyaleena Vega grew up in a proud, wealthy Council family. This very same family was a part of the original Council who established the safety around Markson. For her entire life, she has heard nothing but how much of a plague the Anomalous are. After meeting an Anomalous as a child, she has hidden her fascination with the outcasts. Learning she was recruited to the Guard was a mix of emotions for her - pride in carrying on the family legacy and trepidation in knowing what she was being trained to do, especially considering her fears that she may in fact be an Anomalous…

She is 5’7”and slim for her height. She dresses basic but sophisticated, usually preferring jeans and a basic top. She prefers not to draw attention to herself with her clothing.

Powers: Jada can create illusions, causing her target to see, hear, touch, smell and/or taste things which do not actually exist. She is only able to cast illusions on one person or object at a time.

Bio: Jada was born to an upper class family in Barbados. She lived with that family until her parents were killed by a gang member the night of her 8th birthday. Having no other relatives, she lived in an orphanage until she was 10. She was then adopted by a missionary family from the United States. She realized her ability to influence what people saw around the age of 17. She was playing hide -n -seek with the children in the Sunday School class she taught. She was able to hide from each of the children by making them think she was out of the room. She excitedly told her family about her newfound ability. They became enraged, accusing her of witchcraft. Every night they would have her pray that she would turn her life back to God. They even had her re-baptised. Eventually, a member of the church heard about what she was doing and told her about The Grinder. She knew immediately that this was the only place she would be safe to be herself. One night, Jada took out the money willed to her from her biological family and left a note telling everyone not to look for her. She headed to The Grinder.

Bio: Maddie was born into a rough home life. She never met her mother who was arrested for prostitution while pregnant. Maddie was born in jail and brought home by her father. Her father was never home, always working one of his three jobs or sleeping. She spent most of her time with her best friend, a boy who lived in the same trailer park. They would spend hours and hours pretending they were pirates in his back yard. Then she would go home and cook her own dinner and put herself to bed. She did decent in school and has always been comfortable being independent. She would occasionally get into fights with girls who would tease her because of her family life. She eased the depression of her life by partying. She never let it affect her schooling and she graduated on time her senior year. She immediately left home, having saved up money from numerous summer jobs. She headed to Hollywood to follow her dream of becoming an actress. She was , however, discovered by a modeling agency at one of her auditions. She eventually signed with them and was an instant success, becoming the face of numerous clothing lines ; even designing her own perfume. After a few years of fame in the modeling arena, Maddie tried acting again. Because of her fame, she landed a few roles and eventually hopes to be a lead actress one day.

Personality: Maddie is honest to the point that she is blunt and often puts people off. She likes to have a good time but usually drinks too much . She doesn’t judge anything about anyone. She likes to learn and will question everything. She is vegetarian and health conscious. She can be very private when dealing with her emotions and doesn’t always open up about herself easily.

Bio: (I’ll flesh this out more later) She became pregnant in Ancient Sparta. Her son died during childbirth. She made a deal with the goddess Athena to bring her son back. The deal was that as long as Kallisto’s descendants/bloodline remained on earth, Kallisto would fight in the arena on behalf of Athena.

Skills:
Spartan Warrior- Kallisto maintains the typical build, stamina, and physical prowess of a trained Spartan warrior as well as an ability to use a sword and spear effectively.

Abilities:
Screech Owl - She emits a sonic scream that temporarily disorients her opponent (for one turn)
The Blinding of Tiresias - She can hide herself from her opponent but is unable to attack. This does not work on opponents with psychic abilities.
Feinted Immortality - She only appears to die as a mortal. Her body and soul return to Athena after each fight. Kallisto is unaware of this as her memory is wiped after each fight.
Horses of Athena: As a last ditch effort during a fight, Kallisto can summon a stampede of mystical horses that (in theory) wipe out any competitor in the arena, including Kallisto herself.
