Prison of Elders is pretty fun. The Treasure Chest gave me my first Gjallehorn (best rocket launcher in the game) but I'm gonna stick with my Hunger of Crota since it's got me this far :3

Not far enough into Destiny to understand this, but it sounds neat


Prison of Elders is a three man wave style arena that came out yesterday with the second DLC. It's really fun. Honestly, this new DLC has added so much that I feel like the game has changed. It will definately be easier for newer and lower level players to reach max level and bathe in the glory of end content riches. I really hate that they withold all this pre-developed content to be released as DLC but it's buisness I guess :P

Good thing is that with the new level cap, those without the dlc cannow get to the old dlc level cap with normal vendor gear though. You can still get the cool new guns and gear :3

@Ace of Jacks So, the DLC really only added new missions to those who buy/bought it? Everyone gets the added level cap, guns, and gear?

No, not all but some.
It added a new strike, pvp maps, story, weekend pvp event, and a wave arena. There are some weapons you can only get through access to the reef n prison of elders as well as gear to get you to level 34 (new dlc cap). But those who dont have the dlc can still get gear from vendors that get you to 32 (old dlc cap). You dont even need to level it up. Getting the gear will jump you straight to 32. I was planning on deactivating my ps4 too see what I can and cannot access without the DLC.
You can still get the new exotics and new vendor weapons, but probably not the ones from the reef or prison of elders. @Dragonite777
