The art of making hamburgers began in Germany, Though this craft was truly perfected in America.

Weren't hamburgers called Liberty Sandwiches or something during the WWII era? Something about there being a town/village/city in Germany named Hamburg, and the Germans were all totes super evilz during that time so having something in America with a name similar to something in Germany was a no-no.
