"... So if you get food you can do the fast thing?" Nikolai asked, crossing his arms. "Alright! Let's get this going!" He said, picking her up and walking her into the kitchen. He quickly raided the pantry for all the prepared food he could get his hands on. "Right! Eat, then do the fast thing!" He said urgently.

Jade just huffed and puffed, huffed and puffed, huffed and puffed as her eyes slid towards the large pile of food. An almost demon-like grin came over her face as her eyes seemed to breifly flash green...

"Thank you"

And the food was simply gone. Even the boxes, wrappers, and... plates? Oh my Oda, that's gonna be awkward later. A-anyways, Jade let out a burp and stood up, her energy... partially restored. But it was enough. "Alright, Cap, let's get this boat on the road!" she said, beginning her vibration "Next stop! Not here." she said, darting away, but more this time, she kept the destruction to almost non-existent. And in only a few seconds, the ship was ready to go, as Jade slip back into the kitchen, smacking into the corner. "There you go. Now, I think I might pass out. Gimme a sec..." she said, almost profoundly, as if she actually needed to contemplate it "Yup. Passing out" Aaaaaaaand she *fwuped* down to the floor, curled into a ball.

By the time Jade awoke, she would find the ship surrounded by blue in all directions, both the waves crashing into the ship, and the clear sky above. Nikolai, of course, had been busy, and at present, was standing at the very end of the bow, staring forward and holding some form of parchment. He'd changed out his orange jumpsuit, or at least the bottom of it, from the tattered shirt he still wore, and put on a dark colored pair of trousers and boots. He yawned as he stared out at sea with a smile.

"Man, it's been way too long since I've had this kind of freedom... I really can do anything!" He laughed as he turned around to stare at the mast, which was dutifully catching the wind. He frowned slightly at the sight of the Marine insignia that the ship was flying. The ship itself was a caravel, though it was armed to the teeth due to its previous ownership. "Hopefully that won't cause any problems though..."

Jade yawned and stretched as she awoke from her nap "Sleepy-time over" she muttered, standing up. Looking around, she remembered the events that brought her to the ship. Judging by the soft rocking, they had set sail. 'And I don't hear any cannons, so we must be in the clear' she thought, looking down at her clothes 'Ugh. Let's get rid of these'. She moved from the kitchen, down the stairs and through the ship. Most of what she found were marine uniforms. She took a pair of the blue trousers (which breathed really well and allowed for good movement. Not the best, but good enough) and managed to find some casual clothes as well, consisting of a white shirt one size too big that she held back with a very snazzy green vest. She also found a... decent pair of white running shoes. "Boy, these'll burn out quick".

Making her way back, she lumbered outside the kitchen to the deck, still a little sleepy. "Oh, yeah... that's nice" she said as she breathed in the ocean's air. As she looked around, all she saw was blue. "Wow. How long have been asleep? Hm? Hey, where's the idiot?" she asked, looking around. She found her companion standing on the bow, looking at the mast "Hey, Niko! What's up? How long was I out? And where the heck are we going?" she asked...

"Hm?" Nikolai turned around for a moment. "Haven't really made any final decision on that one." He said before turning back and looking to the sky. "You know, this is strange... I've seen the sky like this from the Grand Line so many times, but... It has an almost mystical quality here on the seas of the East Blue... I'm not really sure how to word it."

Jade followed his gaze up to the night sky. She never really looked before, but the vast expanse of black, dotted by billions of stars, not a cloud in sight... "You're right. It is... magical. So clear. It almost looks like I could reach out and pluck the moon from the sky" she said, slowly reaching her hand out towards the full moon.

Nikolai put his hands in his pockets. "Well, then, I've got a thought... You know we're pirates. I don't want there to be any misunderstandings about that, but..." He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. "It's something I've never been able to find an answer about... What our name would be when I finally set sail as a pirate... But I think now I have an answer. Silver Moon."

Jade pulled her hand back and looked over at Nikolai. For the first time in a long time, a smile crept to her face (well, beyond the usual battle grin) "The Silver Moon Pirates, eh? I like it" she chuckled 'Silver Moon. If only he knew just how appropriate that is'. Shaking her head of times since past, she looked back at the sky "So... You're from the Grand Line? I've heard it gets pretty crazy out there" she said, deciding to learn more about the stranger she... while it so far was working out, kinda stupidly pledged herself to.

"... Yeah, I guess. Suppose I could have started a crew out there," Nikolai said, finally looking to the sea. "But... Well, I think I'd have been crushed if I'd tried... Starting a pirate crew in Marineford... Hah. The other thing is... I wanted to see what was out here. This ocean is the one where the legendary King of the Pirates was born and first set sail... I needed to see this ocean with my own eyes... But what about you?" He asked, pocketing his hands as a cool breeze went over the ship. "You from the East Blue?"

Jade stiffed a bit at the question, but quickly relaxed "Y-yeah. But I've never left my home until I was imprisoned a month ago" she said, hoping Nikolai hadn't caught her stumble. While it was true she had never left home until that day... where she considered home, well, that changed drastically about 10 years ago, then again 3 years ago. However, that knowledge was strictly on a need-to-know basis. And no one ever needed to know.

Suddenly, something occured to Jade "Wait a second. You said "Marineford". Why in the hell would you go to the Marine Headquarters to start a pirate crew? You wouldn't, so why bring it up? Unless... You were a marine, weren't you? Stationed at HQ? How the hell did you end up way out here?" She asked, piecing the puzzle together.

"I was born out there, and my old man's a vice admiral," Nikolai explained with a yawn. "Pretty much started out there... And yeah, Petty Officer 2nd Class, Nikolai!" He shot off a salute, though his smile showed just how halfhearted it was. "I was shipped out here for what I like to call 'calculated incompetence'." He smirked. "Well planned fuck ups. Never enough to be discharged for, just enough to get myself thrown out into the weakest sea. Enough to get thrown out to my Cradle of Dreams." He said with a smile. His stomach gurgled. "Ohhh, man, but let's drop anchor, I'm starving!"

Jade was stunned by this revelation. His father was a fucking Vice Admiral! Then why the hell was he in prison? She listened to the rest of his explanation, and while it explained some things, it didn't answer all of her questions. Still, it was acceptable. Dispite being a marine, it was clear he was done with that path, and was dedicating himself to piracy... course, not like he had a choice. After escaping from prison, Jade highly doubted the marines would take too kindly to that, despite his heritage.

Anywho, food was mentioned. All else was forgotten. "LET'S EAT!" she cried, darting over to the anchors and tossing them into the sea, then zooming into the kitchen as a cry of "HURRY UP!!!" followed after her...

"Hm? Right, right!" Nikolai sighed as he headed in to the pantry in search of food once more. As they ate, he sighed. "Man, this military stuff always tastes like crap..." He muttered. "It's like they don't even want us to enjoy our food, I swear... Honestly, though, we probably need to keep an eye out for people to join our crew, now that I think about it... We'll need a shipwright... A navigator... Mind, I can do a little of that... A doctor, a cook... Might be good to have a dedicated helmsman and gunner too..." He shook his head. "What can you do? I mean, I know pretty much nothing about you, after all."

"'Oo gibes a 'uck? Is foo'!" she said, stuffing her face full of meat, veggies, meat, fruits, meat, nuts, nut meat, cheese, meaty cheese, rations, and rations of meat. She listened as Nik made a "wishlist" of people he needed for their crew, when he asked her directly what she could do. Jade thought about it for a moment "I don't know. I've never been a sailor before. Only a passenger. I guess I can just do whatever needs to be done quickly. I guess?" she answered, taking another mouthful of food.

"Oh that does not bode well," Nikolai scratched the back of his head. "Well at least it isn't a huge ship. We should be able to get by," he spoke. "So I guess I should ask what you were arrested for."

Jade swallowed and looked at Nik. Then, completely deadpan, "I exploded" before taking another bite.

"You... Exploded?" Nikolai seemed disarmed by the statement. For a few moments, he fell silent. "How!?" He exclaimed after much more time than necessary.

Jade thought about that for a minute. "Hmmmmmmm... not really sure exactly. Okay, technically, I didn't explode. The area around me did. I think it's an after-effect of my power. You saw how destructive I can be if I'm not careful? I think I was moving a wee bit too fast. Hehe" she chuckled sheepishly "The town was practically gone by the time I managed to stop. I guess they thought I did it on purpose?" She shrugged, taking a bite out of some lettuce "ECK!!!! I hate lettuce! Why did I do that? She asked, chucking the ball over her shoulder. "Any other questions?"

Nikolai paused once again, wondering if he may have picked someone too dangerous for a traveling companion, but, as he remembered he was a pirate, he discarded the line of thought. "I suppose we should try and rest while we can." He scratched his head. "We're going to need to get this girl repainted soon. Don't need to deal with the Navy looking for a stolen caravel any longer than we have to. And the last thing we need is someone mistaking us for the Navy."

Jade shrugged "Valid" she said, picking up a napkin and wiping her mouth. "I just had a nap, so you go get some sleep. I'll come wake you if anything happens" she suggested, clearing her place.
