Added a few moves to my characters app, just say if they arent alright.

This seems like it may be interesting, what with all the MK I've been playing as of late.

I have a few questions, though. First, can we play as the 'bad guys'? (The kharacter idea I first came up with was a Revenant who works for Quan Chi, so he'd naturally fight on Outworld's side).

Second, can we just describe the kharacter instead of using a picture, if we can't find any pictures that match what they're supposed to look like?

I have interest in this, I'll get a sheet of my own up in due time.

I decided to use my favourite character.

Name: Darrin Henry Morris

Homeworld: Earthrealm

Appearance:


Fighting Style:
Seemingly slow with bursts of adrenaline, he is not armed but he channels deadly sorcery into his fists and can launch lightning bolts, ice spears and fire balls from his hands. He knows teleportation and uses a curved knife for melee combat, in which he has killed well over twenty gurkas in one battle. While Sub-Zero uses ice for freezing and weapons, Darrin uses blocking spells of electricity, fire and ice, not to mention conjured metal shielding.

When not using magic he has a medium speed, medium power approach which is based on counters and pecking, slicing and cutting his enemies repeatedly through his curved knife. He can also throw his dagger through a portal which opens up behind an opponent, landing inside him or her.

Special Abilities:
Spell portal attack : He opens a portal and casts a spell (ice, lightning, fire) through it, or throws his dagger. His ice doesn't paralyze/freeze an opponent, but it does cause damage to their bodies and frostbite, perhaps slowing them down.

Lightning bolt: A lightning bolt strikes the ground the opponent is on, causing an eruption of flames.
Ice Lance, launches a spear of ice as Darrin shoves an air launched sharpened battering ram at the enemy.

Teleportation: Similar to Raiden's teleportation spell.

Fatality:
Devouring Of The Abyss: The Abyssal Realm opens beneath and enemy, and tentacles hungrily grab the victim, tearing him or her with it's barbed coils before finally dragging them to the abyss, where their souls and magically preserved bodies are cut over and over for all eternity.

Personality:
He's a sorcerer. Like most sorcerers he isn't the most kind neighbor to have but he isn't a threat to Earthrealm or bystanders like Quan Chi or Shang Tsung. He doesn't like the idea of having to be anyone's crony like Shang Tsung or Quan Chi, and he finds their jackboot nature very distasteful. While he wouldn't hesitate to kill if his life or limb were in danger, he has ethics and moral values close enough to Earth special forces and the Shao Lin to fight for Earth Realm.

He likes to fight with and for the underdog against bullies. His ethical values aren't perfect or nearly perfect however, he will steal and fight to gain knowledge and power like most sorcerers, and even experiments on defeated enemies with his spells. He wouldn't do this to a character like Sonya, Cage, etcetera, but if he were a strong enough rival to a defeated rival, he could seem as cold and cruel as Shao Kahn, Shinnok and other Earth Realm enemies.

Backstory:
Darrin Henry Morris was born in London, 1968. He was a gifted child, weak and frail, pale, bruised easily. He was beaten as a child by bullies, and almost died, opening the door for him to be brought into the Abyssal world's god, Great and Terrible Hoggath. He made a deal with the enigmatic tentacled energy being known as Hoggath on his death bed at the age of ten years, agreeing that he would bring Hoggath the dead bodies of his enemies so Hoggath could devour their souls. He arranged for his bullies and mockers to die in car bombings, and later joined the IRA in his teen years, despite being English. It was an almost open secret that Darrin Henry Morris was untouchable. Anyone who tried to mess with him ended up burned to death in ovens, drawn and quartered, or eaten alive by rats or insects.

Hoggath made Darrin strong. By the time he was twenty, he had carried out numerous assassinations and objectives, but left the IRA due to irreconcilable differences. By then he had killed too much and lost too many friends, saw that what he was doing was immoral and even evil, and he began to hate himself. He does not drink or indulge in drugs, but he is a heavily vice driven man who enters into entirely physical relationships and has a "weakness for women", trying to drown out the pain and guilt in his soul with pleasures and luxurious living. Entering Mortal Kombat and meeting a torturous end doesn't phase him in the slightest. He is afraid that he deserves whatever he gets, so he can try to save as many people as he can.

Darrin no longer serves Hoggath, but he has all the power Hoggath has given him. They have an agreement that Darrin doesn't need to serve him as his sorcerer anymore.

Motivation:
Darrin seeks redemption, peace of mind, and the survival of Earthrealm.

Name: Falchion

Homeworld: Outworld, formerly Earthrealm

Appearance:


Fighting Style:
Falchion fights with strong, rapid attacks, pelting his opponent with relentless offense to overwhelm them. When fighting barehanded, he swings with sharp, reaching blows to strike the head and chest. His actual weapon of choice is his Greatsword, which he can swing with one or both hands for varying degrees of power. Falchion can supplant his various attacks with swings of his axe, and even throw the axe at opponents as a ranged option. His primary power comes from his literally burning strength, able to enchant his attacks with an aura of flame.

Special Abilities:

• Blazefire - Falchion can temporarily bolster his fists or weapons with his flame power for extra damage.
• Great Swing - Falchion rears back with his greatsword before swinging a devastating upward slash with significant reach.
• Dissenter's Smite - Falchion grabs his opponent by the shoulder and impales them with the Greatsword, lifting them off the ground before shoving them off.
• Vengeant Hawk - Falchion throws his axe like a tomahawk to strike his opponent. It reappears at his side seconds later.
• Hatred Burns - Falchion focuses his energies to explode with fire for a moment, throwing off enemy attacks and setting the opponent alight if they're close enough.

Fatality: Flames of Wrath
Falchion slices open his opponent's lower torso with the Greatsword before impaling them with it. He grabs them by the neck and utters an infernal chant, channeling fire unto his opponent to set them ablaze. Finally, with a war cry, he pulls the Greatsword down to rip his foe in two, throwing down the top half atop the crumpled legs to watch the whole corpse burn down to the bone.

Personality:
Ever since he has become aware of his rebirth (see below), Falchion has become a rather stern and vengeful warrior. Aware of the suffering he endured in past and current life alike, he has become devoted to the cause of winning the Mortal Kombat tournament to put his soul at ease. Truly, Falchion simply wants redemption for his previous death, and wishes that no man would have to suffer like he has. He takes his mission seriously and above all else, but still has room for human pathos and would help a trusted ally in need. But against anyone he knows is endeavored to an evil cause, Falchion is determined to dispense fiery vengeance.

Backstory:
Falchion was born into Outworld as a poor human, a slave to Shao Kahn as one of the people under his rule. From a young age he truly wished to be rebellious, desperate to throw off the chains of the emperor's rule, but he could get no chance to fight, nor would he last long given such a chance. Hoping to reach an end to justify the means, Falchion endeavored to personally serve under the Emperor in hopes he would gain the power to challenge him.

The path to recognition was long and cruel, but Falchion would not give up hope; even in his darkest hours, he was driven by some unseen urge, something he could not fully comprehend. He followed its message and continued on, eventually being given a position as an agent underneath Shang Tsung. By this time, Falchion had mastered most of his martial skill and began to develop his flame powers. Before he could rise in the ranks, however, Shang Tsung would attempt to personally execute Falchion and claim his soul.

Shang had detected a powerful essence within him that he did not wish to risk becoming stronger, and so decided to kill him before he got the chance. During the confrontation, however, Falchion caught a glimpse into his own soul, and saw the truth: he was a reincarnation of a powerful Earthrealm monk that lost his life to Goro in the Eighth Mortal Kombat tournament. With this knowledge at heart, Falchion erupted in blazing rage and fought his way free, desperate to desert Outworld before Shang Tsung could claim his life again.

Against many odds, Falchion found a portal to Earthrealm and began to seek out the Shaolin Monks in hopes of rejoining their forces to protect Earthrealm. It was a difficult case, as in the wake of Outworld's invasion, much of the world was drained of their spirit and held much deep-seated spite for Outworld. It truly seemed as if Falchion was unwelcome until he was approached by the God of Thunder, Raiden. He had been the one to witness Falchion's previous life firsthand, and saw his resurrection as a chance for the monk to regain the victory he could not earn in his past life.

Motivation: Win the Mortal Kombat Tournament to protect Earthrealm from Shao Kahn's wrath, and to gain revenge on Shang Tsung.

I edited Claudius a bit, removed his net and water attacks and made his trident and sword into special moves.

Ermac, Claudius, Falchion and Darrin are all accepted. You guys can go ahead and post them in the CS section. I think Ermac has a lot of potential because there can be some sort of internal conflict between the different souls in his body. That could be fun to RP. As for Darrin, I really like the idea of a sorcerer that fights for Earthrealm, and I don't think there's been a prominent MK character that's British. Falchion looks like a bad ass, I like the reincarnation backstory, and your CS is a perfect template. It's laid out neatly and easy to read. And I'm still a huge fan of Cladius, I think with those tweaks he's a great addition to MK and I love the armor you picked.

And @HHShetland yes you can play as a bad guy, and yes if you can't find a suitable picture you can just describe their appearance.

Honestly I'm pretty surprised nobody is playing as Scorpion or Sub-Zero yet. I thought people would be all over that shit.

Right, so I’m currently working on a leader of a street gang, and she’ll be a lady seeing as this RP is currently a pack of franks. Still have to figure out the fine details though.
