Maybe this should have been posted in OT or in Member Lounge, not in Spam. That being said, I could probably get by in a spoken, or written, conversation in Latin. Assuming it wasn't a dead language, of course, because no one speaks it anyway.
I took 3ish years of french, currently taking 3rd level italian, know a little 1st sem japanese, and i can tell you random shit about languages I don't speak.
I'm not too shabby at German. I also know some basic French since I have survived the Albertan education system. Once it was no longer a mandatory class I dropped that crap so hard.
I speak Spanish pretty well, and I minored in Japanese (but practicing that is kinda tough in New Mexico, so I need to brush up before I'm coherent again). Also took four semesters of Chinese, but that didn't really take -- I know enough to get directions and food and some basic shit like that, but not much else. Also I speak whale.
Did 6 years of French, but it was at shitty school level so we didn't really learn as much as we should have in that period of time and I don't remember jack shit of it. Starting Japanese next year as an extracurricular at uni.
