Made some very slight edits, @Skythikon but nothing that should change your post very much. I wanted to provide a better understanding as to why Vala would just be turn the other cheek. I feel like it isn't in her nature as having grudges on a ship, where you are stuck with that person for weeks or months at a time, wouldn't serve you well. So I had Vala try to at least look past where Seothrunn comes from.

Gotcha. I have Seothrunn just trying to be friendly with the one other northerner in the group, as well as trying to dispel whatever predispositions anyone has of his people.

^word. I anticipate Klaus will pick mercilessly on Jobe like the shy kid in the back of the classroom, skirt nervously around Ghisronia, and study Lily with a regrettable lack of respect for personal boundaries when her magical abilities become known.

@Kingfisher That feeling is entirely mutual - I was so grateful Lilly got to pick a spot between Ghis and Jobe ^^ Did you also notice that the entire cast seems to be at least half a foot longer than either of those girl, btw?


I'm not sure the three of them will get along well in the conventional sense, but it'll certainly be fun to play out. I did indeed! Maybe that's what drew them to each other? :P

Alright, so I'm a touch confused. We've got some people saying that the dining hall is filled with all sorts of people, some saying there are only twelve. It had been my assumption that more people were in attendance and simply would not accept the mission assigned them.
Are we deciding on twelve then? That'd be pretty important for my posts, at least.

I was under the impression there were twelve, so I'd go with twelve. I think those who are saying "all sorts of people" are referring to the difference in cultures/character between all our guys, not a large number. Atleast that was my interpretation.

Klaus was born on the outskirts of the capitol, was adopted by a mage scholar after displaying some precocious magical abilities, and grew up at Highmont University.

She'll make a nest on top of his head, his hair looks pretty cozy ;)

Lilianna, btw, is originally from Griffinmont but spent her life from age eight onward in Sinegi, which is a town just south of the frozen mountains up north.

Klaus would walk around with bird-form Lily nested in his hair like it's the most natural thing in the world.
