I just might have Lilly haunt Ghis with good intentions and innocent attempts to make conversation until the poor girl either grows to like her, strangles her in the forest or runs away screaming. I'm afraid that picking up on ill intentions isn't something that she understands. Hope that's okay ^^

Also- can we discuss the extents to which magic is taboo in Ecen? It can't be outlawed because there are entire departments at universities devoted to studying it. What's the source of the stigma against magic? Is it good ol superstition and general fear if witchcraft or??

My estimate would be that stigma stems from old religious and cultural views that many in the kingdom still stick to. It would explain why most are against it and some not.
