"By all means, Guardian Evana," The Speaker turned to face the latest question, and it was brought to Atticus' attention that the Speaker always seemed to know the name of every Guardian he spoke to. He was curious as to how he could do that simple, yet amazing, trick. "I did allow you to ask questions." He paused for a moment to think over how to answer her before finally speaking. "Tell me, Evana," He began. "Would you risk the lives of multiple Guardians, many of whom may not even know whether their search will yield any results? Or one single Guardian who made the discovery and is willing to continue his search alone? Aaron was willing, and insisted, to travel alone to continue his search. He was as unsure about the discovery of such a weapon as you yourselves are."

He paused for a moment to let her think about his answer before continuing on to answer her other question. "In the event that you do find the weapon you are to immediately contact us here at the Tower. This Council" He motioned towards the others around the table with him. "Will be reconvened to deal with how to deal with the weapon. You six will not touch, or go near, the weapon in case it does have the ability to corrupt a Guardian's light." He looked from each of the Guardians he had gathered before returning to Evana. "You will fall back to a defensive position and protect the area from anyone that tries to take the weapon until a decision has been made on how to deal with it."

The Speaker took interest in Evana's addition of 'no matter the cost', but did not speak otherwise about it. "Now, enough time has been wasted," Behind the Guardians the doors opened once again and the Tower's Shipwright entered into the room. "I was about to inform you about how you will be traveling, but I think I will allow the Tower's Shipwright the opportunity to inform you of your future travels."

Evana nodded at the Speaker’s reply, not completely satisfied with the answer but felt she was in no position to question further his decisions. She gave the Speaker a simple nod in understanding. “Of course,” she said, after the Speaker finished explaining sending a lone Guardian. Still, though its true the object in question held unknown and possibly lethal powers, no one could have predicted the outcome in the event that someone was to encounter it. But now, in addition to Aaron, six Guardians are being deployed, one of which was as green as they come. It doesn’t matter now, she supposed. They have a task set, a search mostly filled with questions and unforeseen circumstances ahead of them. This was her focus now, nothing more, nothing less. This, and protecting the light of her comrades.

Listening to the Speaker explain how they should treat the weapon, should it be found, Echo emitted a little beep. “Noted,” he said soft enough for only Evana and anyone fairly close to her to hear. “Do not touch mysterious light-corruption items.”

Not long after the Speaker had finished talking, the Shipwright entered the room, her presence announced for her. “Evening, Guardians, Amanda Holliday at your service” she greeted the entirety of the room. “If you’ll kindly follow me to the loading dock,” she began to say, turning around and gesturing for the newly formed fireteam to follow. Evava gave one last look at the Counsil. “We will return and discover what has come of Aaron as soon as possible,” she assured them before walking behind the Shipwright.

“Now, the jumpship you lot will be flying off in was a special request made by the Speaker,” the Shipwright began to explain, “It’s got all the basic doo-dads you’d find in your own jumpships, so it shouldn’t be to unfamiliar. I reworked the blueprint of a Valkyrie model ship to accommodate for 6 bodies.” She began to explain its various features, many of which Evana was already aware of as they could be found in her own Aurora Wake jumpship model. The Shipwright explained a few new things, such as additions to the navigation specifically linked to the signals transmitted by Aarons ghost and to the guns of the ship.

As they neared the docking station, the Shipwright continued to ramble, not really aware of whether or not any of the Guardians were really listening. “—so this baby can get you through a Cabal armada in no time. It’s loaded with numerous offensive and defensive functions. Even got all three factions of comply and compile some Golden Age tech for this beauty. The Speaker actually—oh, here we are. I had It set up to be ready when we got here.” Evana let out a sigh of relief, happy that she didn’t have to hear the Shipwright talking any longer. She was getting impatient, ready to start and end this mission.

“Whoa…” she heard Echo beep.

Evana turned her attention to the loading bay and finally noticed the larger than normal jumpship docked nicely for them. It looked bulkier than a normal ship, probably due to the extra space required of 6 guardians. Usually, a Fireteam would take their own personal jumpships to the location of a mission but it seemed this mission required all members to fully cooperate and acquaint with one another, much to Evana’s surprise. The ship was a slick black color with some red decals around the artillery.

A light chuckle came from the Shipwright. “Well, don’t just gawk at it, take a look inside. The Speaker had me add a small room to act as an infirmary of sorts should you find yourself in need of one. The complete blueprint of the ship, as well as inventory, will be transmitted to your ghost soon enough. Have one of your ghost relay the signature of Aaron’s ghost into the ships navigation and it can practically take you close to its last known location.”

Asia followed and tried to listen to the shipwright.the ship sounded pretty cool but when the shipwright started to babble on about how great the ship is she kinda tuned out.
"well, this mission seems interesting, first a guardian missing, now something about a weapon that may or may not be able to corrupt our light,ok,something like a light vs dark battle thing going on here.strange that they talk about light like that."Asia thought.
By that time the shipwright was telling everyone about a infermeri.

"Oooooooooooooooooooh!" Mason turned to Atticus as the Tower's Shipwright, Amanda Holliday, greeted those gathered in the room. "We get a new ship! Do you think I could get a chance to fly this one?"

Atticus chuckled as he and Mason fell in behind Holliday and the other Guardians as they left the Hall of Council and made their way through the hallways towards the shipyard where their newly acquired ship awaited them. "You'll have to take that up with the others so I'm not making any promises that you can fly it." He could see Mason out of the corner of his eye slowly inching closer and closer to his face as he spoke.

"But If they all say yes, then can I fly it?" Mason was only a few inches away from his face now as they turned at an intersection of hallways, the entire time Holliday was describing the ship and all of the features that would be included in it, but Atticus's attention was focused on Mason as the Ghost continued to inch closer to the side of his face.

"Well," Before the Ghost could reach the side of his face he turned to look at Mason which stopped the Ghost dead in it's tracks as they stared at one another as they continued down the hallways "If they say yes, then I suppose you can fly the ship."

"Yes!" The Ghost excitedly whispered and rested on his shoulder as if it was suddenly to tired to fly. "This gonna be so much fun!"

Atticus couldn't help but agree as he smiled over at Mason. "Yes, I'm sure it i-" Whatever he was about to have said was quickly forgotten at the larger than average ship waiting for them came into view.

"Whoa!" Mason perked up and flew back into the air staring at the ship. "That is one cool looking ship!" Mason said before turning to Atticus, a look of awestruck wonder on his face as he gawked at the sleek black and red ship. Before he could reply a light chuckle from Holliday and the invitation to take a look inside caused Mason to quickly spin back around. "We can WHAT!" Mason turned to look back at Atticus before turning just as quickly to look at the ship. "ME FIRST!" The Ghost yelled at it flew from the back of the group up the walkway and into the ship. It was silent for several moments as Mason explored the ship only to have the Ghost race quickly back to the open door to exclaim, "There's a freakin' minifridge in here!" Before disappearing once again into the ship.

Atticus just slowly shook his head, feeling only slightly embarrassed by his Ghost, although he was sure he would have had the same reaction as well. "Well," He composed himself and looked up to the other Guardians and Ghosts. "We have our objective and our ship. Let's say we gather what supplies we may need and meet back here before we set off. What do you guy's say?" He asked waiting for the others.

Cecelia looked the ship over. It was very nice, especially a custom job for this one specific mission. The one thing that bothered Cecelia was why can't they take their own jumpships? It makes sense that someone would need to carry it, but someone could put it in their ship. Not Cecelia's though. Hers was far too small. She's modified it to be as fast, light and stable as possible. In that order. It wouldn't take much to bring it down, but it'd have to hit the ship first.
Cecelia giggled at the overly-enthused ghost wanting to go in first, and went inside to look. It was cozy, though still too clunky for her taste. Sitting down in a chair, she responds to her fellow Guardian who spoke of their departure. "I got all I need, so I'll just stay here. Got my weapons, armor, and a seat. Ready to kick butt at a moment's notice." After Cecelia got adjusted, Einstein zips out of nowhere, like ghosts normally do. "Hey, any idea why we all need to cram into one jumper? I figured it may have been to hold the weapon, but one person could do that. It doesn't add up." "Dunno. It's pretty comfy in here, though. Worth they lack of subtlety and speed." Ignoring the blatant fact that if this went down, that the six Guardians would be S.O.L., Cecelia leans back in the chair and awaits her teammates.

Echo hovered over to the ships guns, looking them over as a blue light shining out of his core as is scanned over the surface. “This thing can fight through an armada?” He took a few feet back to fully take in the ships exterior. “Well it definitely looks the part.” The ship wasn’t too big, but it definitely stood out from the other jumpships. He turned to ask Holliday how more about the ship and the added features that she had failed to mention but she had already made her way back to her little corner of the loading dock. In her hands was a tablet of sorts, a silver frame with a light blue holographic screen within. Just after she tapped a few things on the screen, a plethora of information flooded Echo’s database. He now had access to the blueprints and could see the inner workings of the ship itself. It was fitted with new tech that Holliday herself designed and had planned to embed into the newest models of jumpships. Some of this tech included a cloaking mechanism, enhanced tracking on weapons, as well as a cleansing circle built into the small infirmary, a technology extracted from the Vex. Echo returned to Evana but was distracted by the joyful and ecstatic shouting of the young ghost belonging to the human Warlock.

“Echo.”

Echo slowing turned his attention to his guardian, amused by the other ghost’s reaction. “Hmm?”
“Stay here, have a look around. I must grab a few things from the Vault before we take off,” Evana instructed, already starting to walk away toward the Vaults.

“Roger, roger,” Echo replied, turning to face the ship when he sees the overjoyed ghost rush out and stop just at the entrance of the ship, exclaiming that there was a minifridge on board. “Sweet…” he murmured, floating toward the entrance. Just as he passed the other ghost he asked, “Think you can steer this baby, kid?” half chuckling as he asked. He went inside to check out the interior, going by a fellow guardian who had made herself comfortable in one of the seats. “I bet the fridge is empty,” he said to no one in particular.

--

It didn't take long for Evana to access her Vault, a virtual storage system that holds all the loose items, weapons, and armor she had acquired over a few years. In all honestly, she didn't need much. It was just a relief to be away from all those guardians. There wasn't too much as she didn't feel the need to have anything other than her MIDA Multi-Tool, though she kept a few others around. Mostly, one of each type she felt she'd ever need. Looking through the list of items she had stored, Evana selected some ammo synthesis, in the event of particularly sticky situations. She grabbed an old sniper rifle she had purchased from Future War Cult a long time ago. Though she hardly used it, she didn't know what exactly she'd be facing. It's always better to be safe than sorry, something she had heard was a common term in the olden days.

As she exited out of the Vault, Evana threw her head back, glaring out at the open sky, the large and broken structure that was the Traveler hovering protectively over the Tower. She let out an softly audible sigh before starting her walk toward the others.

Vayen had kept silent since she last spoke, only following the rest of the fireteam.
She had wished this request had come from her queen back at the Vestian Outpost, her Vestian ship would even be left behind for the mission, not that she minded their new toy, neither did the ghosts it seemed.
Evana ran off to make sure her supplies was with her, the other guardians seemed to be at their own, inspecting their new ship.
Stepping inside she took her fair look inside, sitting down on the co pilot seat. Spinning her chair to face the back of the ship she sighed and looked up with a mixed expression, inbetween relieved and awkardly pushing her social side, "I, well I guess I will introduce myseld shortly, despite the data we have on each other..." she looked around for response, "My name is Vayen Lokh, I have been around for sometime, not good with the names but I will try to not mess up with you folks... My shy and mute of a ghost is named Saga, though she lacks outer communication functions she will happily listen and talk to you through a holoscreen..." She did not know how to continue, despite Evana being away it felt better doing something than to remain silent, besides these were the people she would now start to work with and probably beyond their current mission seeing as what has so far been invested on them.

Einstein was initially confused by the ghost that had floated by, talking about steering the ship. Through the comm on Cecelia's suit, he remarked "Um... I'd prefer to not navigate a ship, like I always do when we're jumping around." Cecelia smiled a little and rolled her eyes. Hearing another guardian introduce herself, Cecelia figured names of sorts would be a little important. "Hey. I'm Cecelia. My ghost, Einstein, can- and always does- call me princess. Just a nickname. My tactic is up close and in-your-face as much as I can. If there's a large baddie, I'll pull out my sniper. I guess I'm a heavy-impact sort of shooter. Though, with enough Light, I can whip out me a golden gun. I knew I wouldn't need to go to the Vault cause I've been using the same sniper and handcannon since I found them on Mars. Too good to pass up, and nothing that's surpassed them while I've been out in the field or at the Tower's gunsmith. Just works for me. My armor probably isn't optimized, but it's comfy and guards me well enough. What sort of fighting style do you use, Miss Lokh?"
Fighting styles and tactics were a primary concern for Cecelia, since hers was pretty versatile. It'd be unwise to have six guardians going up-close-and-personal with no sniper backup in case of a few Hobgoblins or that annoying Vandal with the sniper beam-gun. Always hate those, because they threw the biggest wrenches in Cecelia's tactics execution. Too much evasion while trying to approach. Occasionally, she can hit them with a throwing knife right in the face, but that's a really hard shot to make. No matter what, Cecelia would fill the role most needed. If most of them preferred to rush in, she'd stay back. If a lot of them preferred to use distance, she'd be best to rush in. This looked like a jumpship base more than a ship of its own. It'd be big enough to launch smaller jumpships from it, which would be awesome. Like a mobile hanger. Typing it into a holo-note, Cecelia transmitted it to Einstein to work on some rough draft blueprints. Maybe they could make something after this mission. Or at least start. Either way, this mission takes precedence.

"Mason!" It took the Ghost a few moments to tear itself away from whatever it had been looking at before hovering in the open doorway. "I'm going to leave the introductions to you while I run and grab a few things, alright?"

"Ohhh, okay!" The ghost chirped back at him as he turned to leave the hanger, heading back the way they had came. "I'll do just that." The Ghost muttered to itself as it made it's way through the ship to where the others had gathered just in time for the Titan Vayen Lohk to introduce herself and her Ghost Saga. Fascinated by the fact that Saga had no exterior communication functions but instead used a holoscreen to communicate with most others had the curious Ghost slowly hovering closer to Saga and Vayen, and completely forgetting that Mason was suppose to be introducing themselves to the others.

When the Hunter Cecelia introduced herself and her Ghost Einstein had broken
Mason's interest on Saga and quickly brought back the fact that Mason was suppose to be making introduction. "Oh, right!" The Ghost quickly exclaimed as it remembered it's task. "My name is Mason! I'm belong to the Warlock Atticus Gage. He likes long walks on the beach killing Fallen dregs and he absolutely looooooooooooooooooooves ice cream." The Ghost looked around the room, but failed to look behind it where Atticus now stood before whispering. "Strawberry is his favorite!"

"Mason!"

"Eeep!" Startled the Ghost shot up higher into the air with a resound clang of metal against metal as it hit the roof before making a dash to hide under Vayen sitting in the copilot seat. "Don't do that, meanie!"

Atticus sighed and shook his head as Asia took the chance to introduce herself
before looking back out a window. "Well, anyway," He shifted the gear he had in his arms. "I am Atticus Gage, and that would be my Ghost Mason. Don't take anything Mason says to seriously, as my Ghost an be a bit of a child."

"Hey!" Mason shot up from the hiding place under Vayen, but didn't fly to far away just in case it need a quick return to hide. "That is not very nice! I said wonderful things about you!"

Atticus ignored Mason for the moment as he made his way over to Asia, placing some of the gear he had brought with him into the empty seat beside her. "If you're gonna be traveling with us, you may as well look like you know what you're doing. So I've brought you a spare helmet, coat and boots that I've had for some time. It's nothing special, but it won't stain as easily as that white gear your Ghost made you." He removed the shotgun he had slung over his shoulder and placed it with the rest of the gear. "And I didn't have much in the way spare weapons, but this shottie has gotten me out of some tight jams before. Hopefully it'll do the same for you."

Cecelia looked over at the freshly awoken Guardian and felt sympathy, but didn't want to make her feel pitied. "Hey, don't worry about what you think of your skill, Asia. First of all, everyone here was a fresh Guardian at some point, and two: this is no Guardian's first time in life. Ghosts have... awakened our bodies from basically a hibernation. You have talent in you, you just need to... remember what it is. We can tell by that bond on you that you're a Warlock. You don't have anything to live up to. You're a blank slate. Each of us has some standard that either we ourselves have set on us or some entity has forced upon us. You got nothin. You can be whatever you want. Except an agent of Darkness. Then we'd have to kill ya, and nobody wants to do that." With a joking smirk at her last two statements, she completes the smile and nods at the young Warlock.
"Also," Cecelia adds, "if you need another weapon, I can help procure one from an enemy, if you need. I know they have a tendency to go 'POOF' into the darkness after they're killed, but I have taken some weapons from live ones and used them. They don't go 'poof' like the enemies do. Except Vex arms. At any rate, I know this cause Einstein's used that as a challenge of some sort. Each one that I succeeded, I might add." Putting emphasis and a sideways glance at Einstein during the last sentence, Einsteing does the ghost equivalent of rolling his eyes and flashes away. Probably to check out the systems, in case he does have to fly it at some point. "So, What style of fighting do the rest of you do? Cause I can be front-line, in-their-face with my pistol, or I can be ranged support with my sniper. Just tell me which I need to be and I'll be it. Though, if I'm going to be ranged support, I'd prefer to have someone with an auto, scout or pulse rifle with them in case we get rushed. Don't wanna waste sniper rounds on running enemies. Harder for headshots. And my pistol isn't very effective much farther than point-blank-headshot-range. Just sayin."
