The Idea:
A large mass of people are sent out into space. They are then confined in a globe, complete with a large, rustic house, some food, and other living necessities. The globe is absolutely unbreakable, and maintains an atmosphere appropriate for life forms. The people are not notified that this is an experiment. One person will be infected with an immensely contagious virus, and the happenings will be recorded. Cameras are secretly hidden in every location. There is no privacy, but the 'players' do not know this early on.

The Proposed Plot(WIP):
The people will all be doing what they believe they were sent to do. Each were given individual tasks (tasks that were completely made up and had no affect on anything, but they did not know that). The mass of people divide into groups when one section is infected. The infected and several healthy people (friends, family, others) split off into a separate group. The healthy station themselves elsewhere, away from the infected...

What does this virus do? Is it like the common cold, the flu or something more dangerous? Will these 'tasks' be PM'd to individual players or assigned via a list that players pick through?

Oh, right. I was very vague. Sorry x]. The virus is more like, you have 5 days post infection until you die. And symptoms are not very visible until late phase (So day 4-5). Tasks are random and have little to no importance, they'll completely disappear as soon as the virus is introduced (which will be relatively early on). I'll have roles put out so people for the tasks. This way people can design the characters so that they specialize in the tasks, adding to the realism. For example, fixing this satellite, studying this planet... etc. Again, they will completely disappear when the plot is introduced.

Alright. How big is this globe? Planet-relative wise.

It's actually not that big. It's about the size of one really large building with many rooms, a little bit of space outside the building (think backyard + latch to connect to spaceship), and then a network of puzzles underneath it. There is ground so the building has stability and to conceal the underground puzzles.

Thank you by the way! I didn't realize how many things I had forgotten to explain. You're giving me a new perspective on this, and that's awesome :]

You might want to try drawing a map of it to make it easier to see. And I thought it'd be bigger actually. Are these underground puzzles visible from the outside? Would there be a way for the player characters to find them?

And no problem. I have a lot of questions when it comes to things I think look cool.
