What be yer preferred length/complexity of RP? What genres will you aim for?

My preferred length for RP is, by this site's categories, Casual to Advanced. One-sentence RP doesn't appeal to me, unfortunately.

My favoured genres include light fantasy, light sci-fi (think 2001: A Space Odyssey), and adventure. IRL I love to travel, so anything to do with exploration, adventures, and travelling I love. I dabble in post-apocalyptic settings, but I'm inclined to think that genre is going a bit dry.

by light sci-fi, does that include universes like star wars? Or do you mean sci-fi that is fairly realistic?
