The other Water Tribe agents continued their pursuit, moving past the cloud of dust that assembled before them. The group of them took Chit Zai by storm, quickly and efficiently knocking him out and setting him aside to be interrogated for information about the Avatar.

"We dont have time to wait for him." Marasu spoke to Erok, who he seemed to have put some trust in for the time being. "The longer we stand here, the more likely we're going to get caught." He told the two of them, his eyes moving to the woman who finally revealed her face to him.

She only had a single eye and a large and wild ponytail, and seemed to be around his age, maybe a little older. He had been spiritually tuned only a little with his current set of master, but was able to feel her bending abilities, if only just a little. Given her clothing and appearnace, he assumed earth, but spoke nothing about it just yet.

"We should get to the library." He said to her. "We can contact Chit Zai once we're in the clear."

Erok nodded, his mood brightened slightly by Masaru's cooperation. They might have a fighting chance left, he thought.

Gesturing again to his Earth companion, Erok began walking with her towards the building Mai and Masaru pointed out. Together the group waded through the rapidly increasing crowd, up a small flight of stairs and in through the front doors. It appeared mostly deserted, although a few stragglers were frantically sweeping their books and other belongings into bags, or haphazardly stacking scrolls and leather bound books back into their places, lest they incur the wrath of a bookkeeper. Once the place had emptied some more, Erok began memorizing the layout of the building within eyesight, making note of a cellar door, stairs leading to a second floor, and high windows, through which light cast rays through the slightly dusty air.

Erok turned to the group.

'We might want to get up to the second floor if we intend to escape via roof access, otherwise the cellar could be an effective place to hide, and possibly set an ambush or bend a tunnel out,' he looked to Mai quickly, 'but that depends on what Masaru's objectives are. What do you want to do? If it came down to it, with our abilities in tandem we might stand a chance of direct confrontation.'

"It's really up to the Avatar, but from what it sounds like, there's a lot more of them on this island than us, and if we start fighting they're all gonna notice. I could bend a tunnel back to the beach and I don't think we would be spotted. From there you could take us back the way we came, and I've got plenty of contacts in the Kingdom who would help us."
