Dark Ages Online. The flagship title for the newest virtual reality system, the Neuralizer. Kaguya Korp's first system and title is being locally tested in the city of Chicago. Only 1000 players were chosen to test it out of over 15000 applicants. The lucky 1000 have been in game for a few months now and they have the games simple class and abilities system down. At the start of the game, you are prompted with a character creation screen to first choose a class. You have the choice of Wizard, Knight, or Rogue. Each class has it's own playstyle and skill sets with very few overlap. Mages and rogues share some illusion spells, Knight's and rogues share some weapons, and Knights and Wizards share some defensive buff spells. The three work in a rock paper scissors fashion. Wizards beat knights, knights beat rogues, rogues beat wizards but the whole point of the game is teamwork.
Classes expanded:
Knights: Armored and strong. This class relies on hard hits and the ability to get hit and keep moving. They're the slowest class but has highest defense and health.
Weapons used: Swords, axes, lances, Crossbows, defense magic, rally calls.
Armor used: Light and Heavy
Rogues: This class relies on sneaking around and hitting fast and getting away before they can get hit back. Fastest class with the lowest defense.
Weapons used: Swords, knives, bows, crossbows poisons, illusion magic
Armor used: Cloth, light
Wizard: Attacking with powerful spells or buffing their allies and hindering the enemy. The most balanced class stat wise.
Weapons used: Physical magic (Damage/heal physically), Chaos magic (damage/buff stats), Illusion magic, defense magic
Armor used: Cloth
So now it comes to you. Entering a strange world with 999 other strangers, what friendships or enemies will you make? Will in game actions affect the outside world? With a game that feels this real, who knows what will happen.

When it comes to the skills, simply make them up as you go. I trust you guys to not be OP with them and keep them relevant to the class you're playing as. A knight turning invisible in a shadow isn't going to pass, however a rogue doing that makes perfect sense.
