"I still can't believe our dads wouldn't let us come along." Tim groaned to Damien.
"Tim you know damn good and well why they didn't" Damien responded looking at the computer screen. "Besides that was years ago we need to form a new league so the crazies around here don't think they can run amuck." he added. Tim knew Damien was right but it still bothered him even after finding out about his heritage he was upset that his parents took off leaving him to help defend the planet without them. Tim scoffed and put his mask on before hovering up off the ground.
"Well good thing im taking off to deliver the letters then." he said taking off before Damien could say anything more to his face about the situation. While the two grew up Damien had always been like an uncle to him but that also meant that he had a legion of people that wouldn't let him become a hero because of the life's strains. It took Tim stealing his dads costume and running off to go fight Killer Croc to make them see that he could do it too and he became known as NightFire for a while but that was before his parent left to go fight Darkseid. Now he was just NightWing and he had swore to live up to his fathers legacy. As he flew along he dropped little notes down to every person he saw that could be apart of the league.
"Timothy you need to come back to the Bat Cave I still need to make sure everything is up to date." Damien said.
"Not happening I'm still dropping notes I'll be back when I'm done." he said turning off his comm link. He saw everything flying below him as he flew and took a deep breath. He loved the feeling of flight and when he discovered he could his mother taught him everything she could and the same when he developed Starbolts as they called them. He missed his parents so much but he had to be strong the way his father and Bruce had taught him to be.

Jump City:

Jump was now almost a ghost town, thanks to the combination of constant villain attacks, the disbanding of the Titans, and the fact that, with all of the heroes gone, villains were almost running unopposed... Almost... A large Lexcorp loader-bot stomped down the street with a gang of mutants hanging off of it. The gang had modified the robot with a grenade launcher. "WOOHOO!!! SHOOT THAT ONE!!!" yelled one of the mutants, the robot stopped and pointed it's Grenade Launcher at a car before firing and engulfing the car in a fiery explosion. "BOOYA!!!!" they cheered. However, the celebrations were cut short as one of the mutants on top were grappled by a glowing rope and pulled off into the darkness of the night. The robot turned around and pointed the Grenade launcher into the alleyway that their ally had been dragged. At that point, the rope came again and yanked away another of the mutants from the hull of the robot.

"WHAT THE FUCK'S GOIN' ON!?!?!?" yelled one.

"Me..." replied a black voice as a shadow appeared behind the leader of the gang, who was stood at the very top of robot, a legsweep sent him felling to the hard pavement bellow. He toop out his gun and fired at the shadow, but it was too late as the shadow disappeared. He stood motionless looking around.

"Where'd that fuck go?" he asked. The robot looked around, a high powered headlight on the front of it scanning for her. Had they remained perfectly still, then the sounds of the gyro's that allowed the robot to move wouldn't have drowned out the sound of a faint hissing. Something dropped down from under the robot and darted with almost superhuman speed towards the gang leader, roundhouse kicking him in the face, hard, then placing a firm boot on his chest and forcing him to the ground. The robot turned around to point it's headlights at the shadow. A woman stood in a black costume and holding a detonator. pressing the button, there was an explosion that ripped the torso from the legs and it fell over. The pilor tried to climb out, but the moment the hatch opened, he found a solid baterang smacking into his forehead, sending his head back against the hard metal and putting him down for the count. The woman then leaned down to the gang leader.

"Do yourself a favour, stay in Gotham, you will find Batman far more forgiving than ME!" as she said the last word, her boot moved up to his face and she began grinding it into the pavement. Suddenly, a camera feed from the Invisible Jet came up on her H.U.D. showing an appartment building across town to be on fire. She ground her boot into his face again "Clean up this mess by the time I get back, because, trust me, if you don't, then i'm going to make you wish that I killed people." she grunted, before walking away and pressing a button on her gauntlet. A minute later, the air was filled with the roar of an engine, but nothing to see. She then grabbed ahold of something which raised her into the air, before she disappeared from sight completely, the engine roar spiked, before finally, silence.

Jump City was sort of the ideal place for Delvine to settle down in during her search for her older brother Marcus, for two reasons. One, the amount of crime being perpetrated in the area was good exercise for her powers and basically made for daily training. Something that she couldn't really complain about. And, at the same time, the city was typically pretty quiet during the times when villains didn't decide to go out of their way to make noise and screw up the surrounding areas. This wasn't exactly one of those times, to state the obvious. Del was on her back, laying on the rooftop of an older building as she looked out over the city to observe the weird mutant gang rolling along through the road causing property damage that likely no one was going to pay for. Of course, then, a random super heroine decided to make their lives harder.

She sighed heavily as she watched them fight between themselves before, of course, the female came out on top and barked orders at the gang members like they were going to listen to what she was saying just because she said it loudly. Delvine definitely detested that type of person, and kind of thought about giving the woman a little piece of her mind. But that would be quite rude, said the voice of Delvine's mother in her head. Not the actual voice, of course, but one that she simulated for herself to form a mental devil's advocate.

"Look, ma, I don't really need your help but thaaaaaaaaaaaaaaanks." She spoke to herself out loud, looking around as she kind of wondered if anyone heard her. "I think I'm losing my marbles."

Delvine shot herself up to her feet, using a bit of energy to push herself up rather than using too much effort. She yawned loudly, stretching backwards to straighten her back and almost savoring the odd cracking noise. The young "hero" then stood straight, and said to herself in a slightly more quiet tone, "It's time for a bit of exercise." In her right hand, she formed two balls of energy that she twirled in a circular fashion in her palm and watched them before making them fade away.

"As I noticed, of course I've still got it." She grinned, giving herself a thumbs up for no reason.

Timothy stood a top a roof having just arrived back in Gotham. He watched all the cars and people and admired the fact that a city that had moments of relative peace could be one of the most crime infested places on the planet. Thats when the gunshot sounded.
"Crap thats what I get for thinking this place can be peacefull." he said diving off the roof and flying off toward the sound. Once there he saw that it was an in progress robbery of a convenience store Tim landed and simply waited just outside the door and as the pair of thugs came through he clotheslined the first sending him flipping backward into his partner.
"WHat the-" they said looking up to see Tim standing there. "Oh shit its NightWing." one said then the other caught a glimpse of somthing out of the corner of his eye and turned his head.
"To hell with NightWing The bat is here." he yelled trying to scramble away only to have a starbolt fly past his ear and land in the ground.
"Stay where you are." he said turning to see Batman land next to him. "Couldn't just let me have these ones eh?" he said as Damien simply glared at him.
"We have those comunicators for a reason NightWing use it." he said coldly.
"Yeah well when I've got you breathing down my neck its hard to focus so I turned it off for my own safety." Tim quipped back as the police showed up and arrested the thugs. He and Damien took to the rooftops and stood face to face again.
"Do you really think these people will help at all?" Tim asked Damien a little more concern coming through his voice than he wanted.
"I sure hope so for the sake of everyone here and for our parents." Damien replied looking out over Gotham.

Red Hood sat perched on a rooftop, looking over what he was told to be Gotham City. He acquired some information that he might be able to find some answers about his past in this crime ridden cesspool. The only problem, he didn't know quite exactly where to look. He seemed to have killed his info source a little too early, but that wasn't going to stop him from looking. He scanned the area, looking for any kind of person that looked like they could have info on any big crime runners. If anyone in this city knew anything, it would be the underground crime lords, they practically run this city. After a few minutes he noticed what seemed to be three gang members attacking a young lady in a dark alleyway. They looked like they were all a part of some strange clown gang, causing Red Hood to assume they were goons who worked for one of the crime lords. Who else would dress their henchmen in such ridiculous clothing.

He dropped down into the alley, falling quietly behind one of the thugs. He quickly stood up, wrapping an arm around the thugs neck and snapping the poor sod's neck. As the body dropped to the ground, the other goons turned around as Red Hood pulled out his two pistols, aiming towards the last two. The woman they were attacking took this time to run, screaming out of the alley, "Anyone moves, you'll end up like your friend over there." The anti-hero's voice was dark and monstrous, not really matching with his appearance. "Know that I've got your attention... How do you work for?"

The two thugs had their hands in the air, quivering a bit. One of them spoke up, "Come on man, just put the gun down. We ain't lookin' for any trouble."

Red Hood moved closer, the guns just inches from their heads, "Start talking or I'll start shooting, your choice."
