I'm referring to the fact that it didn't take much psychological difficulties in offing a man's life - irregardless if he was going to live or not.

This is usually the highlight of any zombie flick - because it actually takes a mental strain to those that are accustomed to the modern society when taking the life of a random person. That's pretty psychotic if you think about it (the lack of empathy and excessive self-preservation when said person committing the deed is not in the verge of death), unless they have been doing it for a very long while, considerably desensitized.

Gosh, I hope you get what I'm trying to say XD Words all jumbled up in the morning...

Personally, I think I get what you're saying.

Basically, folks don't simply go around and kill other people... it takes either someone "disturbed" or in forced circumstances to do so...

I would understand if the person turned, or has allowed it to happen. Even in latter cases as portrayed in zombie flicks - people were still squeamish about completing the act, even when the infected willingly offered to be offed in case they turn.

Gosh, I hope you get what I'm trying to say XD Words all jumbled up in the morning...

Oh Austin is not normal for sure. You know where my CS listed under skills "Deplorably corrupt personality"?
That's the personality showing itself right there.

I understand what you're saying--but note that Sylvia was not the one who directly killed them. She only witnessed someone die, and probably associated the infected man and John Marcel as people who weren't exactly 'human,' but as threats to her and her friend's existence. And Sylvia was in her cold, logical mood when those things happened--which is actually devoid of empathy and emotions. I guess society could consider her psychotic when she's in that state, but ironically, she is perfectly logical then.

Edit: Yeah, they cuddled. Sylvia is like that. Her personality is dissociated--think of it as a midway between the average person and a person with Disassociative Identity Disorder (but not nearly as extreme). It's very common in society for people to have different personalities when dealing with different people or circumstances after all. She just takes that up a notch.

Yeah, definitely need professional help for your two characters XD There's going to be a lot of debate going on IC if any of the characters found out - as logical and methodical as it may seem. Tbh, it's not ironical when she's perfectly logical - considering that logic =/= emotions XD

Humans need emotions as much as logic in order to be human! Too much of either will make you a crybaby or a robot.

I have a CS from another RP roughly in the same theme as this kind, with a bit of work I can have it in line with the setting fully and up in the next hour or so(Internet willing).

Hopefully the pancaked evidence has already disappeared by now. And by "disappeared", I mean consumed by zombies whole.

As an aside while I rebuild my CS, what city is the RP set-in and what is the date? I might have overlooked those two points, and I suppose they really wouldn't be of that much concern, but it would be nice to know.

The GM hasn't specified a city yet, though I think that he mentioned that he had St. Louis in mind. As for the time of year, I would presume early June just since that is when the RP itself started.

Hmm, I'll wait then until word is defined on the city itself for some of the finer details then, but by date I was referring more to the year =P Is it alright to assume modern times/2015? This one actually matters a bit more, as my character's backstory depends upon when the RP is set and whether she was a participant in the Vietnam/Korean war, or the Gulf War.

Yup, yup, modern day.

The city was originally fictional, but if it is absolutely critical that you need it to be non-fictional, then St. Louis it is!

I wouldn't say absolutely critical, but it would help in terms of editing out references to other cities =P Thanks for the clarification though, I'll hopefully have the sheet up sometime today(Internet willing) with my edits complete.
