Regarding the format for fighting, I'm sure it comes across as pretty vague. In order for combat to be fair and
possible, each post should be left
open-ended. By doing so, your opponent will be able to reply back to your attack/advancement on their own accord. If one were to predict the enemy's strike, it could end up leading to someone being super overpowered/insta-win for days.
Here's a quick example for you guys:
Person #1: The hologram burst forward, both hands tucked tightly by its sides. Darting transversely towards the opponent, replicas of itself were left in its wake, each taking on their own offensive positions. As a result, each copy made it challenging enough to determine which one was the most lethal. While #2 was scanning the clones, #1 erupted from the crowd, lunging for the enemy with daggers in hand.
Person #2: Glancing upwards, #2 met the hostile gaze of the other. With the sharp blades aiming straight for its core, the hologram held up its arms to form an "X" overhead, forming a barrier wide enough to deflect the attack. Sparks were emitted from the intangible shield, and #2 used the window from the unpredictable counter to send a knee straight for the enemy's sternum.
Person #1: Taken completely off guard, the daggers were knocked right out of #1's hands when the opposing side made direct impact with the center of its chest. The surrounding replicas dissolved into the air, signifying the loss of control over its power. The hologram glitched and static emanated from the figure until it faded away into pixels, disappearing into the atmosphere. Person #2 was the winner.
As you can see, these examples were relatively quick and short (
and crappy). Feel free to add much more depth to it; this was just to provide everyone with a layout so these classes could go somewhere while giving each character a chance to fight back. ^.^
