My favorite character to use is of course General Freedom. He is a superhero and I have always enjoyed the modern mythologies surrounding them. I enjoy Skallagrim but after so many years using him in fights I tend to rarely fight with him. While people may dismiss him as simply a skeleton he is an extremely powerful character, not a god by far but powerful none the less. My other characters are a blast to play but unlike IN I don't play reckless nor stupid. My characters are professional fighters and I play them that way. They are trained in combat and martial skills and to play them any other way would be wrong.

Here's my latest character (who I've been talking about). He's a professional fighter (I guess he does get paid for it a bit since he doesn't really have another job) and his weapon is more varied than I originally had planned so he can be played to my fullest extent (but I'll still loose to MelonHead). For some reason I wanted him to be named something like Maid. Don't know why. That's another thing I do a lot, make up tons of weird names. And make the guys bishonen.

His destructive capacity can be adjusted greatly depending on who he's fighting. However, most of the time he can at least destroy steel. He can basically topple any building by knocking some beams out, so beware.

Hey, that's an idea. A char whose ability turn their opponent to a bishonen (or, if they already are, a loli).

Unrelated to current topic: I am debuting a new character soon, still writing the sheet though. He will be similar in concept to my first arena character, Cho, but I will need a specific sort of opponent for him.

Unranked, of course.

Opponent must be able to weaponise fire to a degree.

The symptoms range from nausea, fever, paralysis, diarrhea, etc. Niks is also able to combine the symptoms. The symptoms are magically induced, as such, most mundane treatment would fail and even the healthiest (or disease immune) person will fall prey. However it can be removed easily using curing magic. There're currently so many symptoms Niks can create at a single time. Maximum range of 75 yards. The Miasma can also be used to analyze unknown poison and disease in a body. Once analyzed, Niks can then create them on its own through miasma. However, this application requires touch and undisturbed concentration.

@Alphakoka Sounds pretty interesting. I wouldn't know much about balance though, I tend to receive advice about that rather than give it. XD

Sounds fine to me. May run into an issue with people who have that immunity and you basically telling them it can fuck off. XD.

Though if its charged enough, it may override it. Sort of like putting too much energy in something meant to hold it. Eventually it'll reach capacity and won't be ass effective or work.

@Alphakoka It is something that that I would say need a time limit of effect, if only for the players that have no such immunities or any magical healing.

So, he has an attack that can't be resisted by disease resistance, but requires a cure disease spell to heal.

Depending on how effective the actual attack is at hitting someone, that could be moderately OP.

Well, the idea is to 'simulate' the symptoms and can target golems.
Though...
Huh, I forgot to put in being able to infuse drinks and foods with it.
Need to stack it so Niks can use it as an ambush weapon.

Time limit goes for a week by default and disease resistance and immunity cut it down even further.

(This is exactly why Niks is specifically for Continuum)

@ImportantNobody Well he seems like a pretty interesting guy. He definitely is not someone to be trifled with in close quarters, but given he is actually a really nice guy. I wondered if he is the type that would try not to kill his opponent if possible.

Wouldn't loli only apply to girls? I think there was another turn for boys. Getting turned into an underage girl would certainly be a drawback unless they kept all of their other characteristics (in which case it would now be advantageous due to their small size). Being bishonen wouldn't harm them at all as far as I can tell unless it takes away their muscles for some reason. However, a lot of bishonen characters are really good fighters in anime (if it's that type of anime).

I have plenty of fire type characters. It seems odd that he could only fight such characters, though, unless you just want to test a specific weakness of his or something.

Exactly. Most of the time when he hits people he's not focused on pure destruction, just obliterating their weapons and knocking them out with regular attacks if he can help it. If he's fighting a serious threat where his normal attacks wouldn't be enough than he'd have no choice but to risk further harm to them.

The word you are looking for is Shota. What if the weapon he is looking to break is highly volatile or super durable?

That's it.

There's a limit to his destructive power even if the weapon could theoretically destroy anything given the right hands (an insanely powerful being of pure destructive instinct or something). He cannot destroy the other magical weapons in his setting (he would not want too) so that means most special weapons are safe unless they are stated not to be magically protected to be super durable. I imagine if it's not at least 20 times more durable than steel than it's going down for the count but I haven't thought up the exact amount because he could likely destroy any material humans can realistically produce. One website says graphene is 100 times stronger so he might be more in that range.

If a weapon is not a solid form it only destroys the little parts he hits but his violent burst attack could destroy all of it as usual.

Not sure how fast yet. Probably standard magic bolt or something.
As for diarrhea, well, just the coughing, sneezing and fever are already very distracting mid-combat. There's also hallucinating. Plenty of other options to take.
I mentioned infusing drinks and food with the magic, that's where the diarrhea came in.

So I guess my male characters would become the elite loli squad. That sounds hilarious if such a squad existed. So loli characters would turn to guys, albeit pretty guys? Given how girls tend to love bishonen this might be a dream come true rather than humiliation.

Honestly I worry that she may b the most susceptible to sabotage, because she tends not to pay attention to her surroundings and is overly trusting. I remember you even saying that it would be sad if she was poisoned all the time, but now I'm thinking that is actually quite a possible outcome.
