After weaving through the mob that had become his class, Ryuusuke managed to pull himself and Annie out of the classroom.

"Geez, give them something to bite onto, and they'll take the bait in a heartbeat," Ryuusuke said, looking back into the classroom.

Then he quickly released Annie's hand, with no fanfare, and head over to one of the windows in the hallway. The hallway, coincidentally, looked out onto the old building. He looked over to the old building.

One thing that Ryuusuke didn't understand was, why didn't the administration tear down the building already? Or at the very least, make it especially hard to even get to the old school building? There was no such thing as a foolproof barricade, sure, but with enough difficulty, a majority of the student body wouldn't even think of it.

His thoughts were interrupted by a movement out of the corner of his eye. He scanned the face of the old building to see what exactly it was.

There. In one of the upper floor windows.

Someone was moving around in the old building.

"What the hell..." Ryuusuke said.

Now normally, Ryuusuke wouldn't bother with it. Some student who decided to sneak in, he bet.

But then, he noticed a really faint glow coming from the same location.

What the hell? Was the guy trying to start a fire or something?

He decided it would be better if they didn't find out. He looked for the nearest teacher to tell them of the situation.

"Oy...! Izumi-sensei!" he shouted, grabbing the attention of the science teacher down the hall. She turned, and Ryuusuke jogged over. "There's someone in the old school building."

She grimaced for a bit, before her face returned to normal.

"Is that so? Alright, I'll get people to get down there as soon as possible," she said calmly.

As Izumi-sensei left, presumably toward the staff office, Ryuusuke returned to Annie's location.

"Looks like there are already people capitalizing on this whole thing," he said, shrugging.

Though one thing that still concerned him was that glow. What the hell was that guy doing in there?

“Hey, idiots, leave him alone. He was just kidding!”

Nori’s heart dropped at the words. How did he not realize that he and his fellow classmate just made the situation very tense, putting Keigo on the spot. He heard Gruffydd mutter; Nori did not understand a thing he was saying but recognized the language to be the Welshman’s native tongue. He then continued aloud in Japanese. It stunned Nori to hear such words from his classmate, especially after his tone only moments ago. But he agreed; the two of them should have seen from the start that it had all been a mere joke.

Until now, Nori had remained silent, but the thud in his side awoke him from his trance.
“I... I apologize for my behavior. It was indeed a joke and I should have reacted accordingly,” he said while looking down, and paused for a moment. “I most certainly didn’t mean to turn it in such a grim situation,” he looked Keigo in the eyes. “I’m very sorry,” he stated in a solemn manner, bowing as he spoke these words.

Having said this, Nori slowly backed off, trying to slip out of the classroom unnoticed. Although he had created the conditions himself, he really felt the need to get out of there. Luckily for him, the hallways had cleared up as most students had either gone to their clubs or gone elsewhere, so he could exit the building without too much hold-up.

Feeling the breeze through his ash blonde hair, Nori let out a sigh, both of relief and regret. “Man... I really screwed up, didn’t I?” he murmured. This had not been a good way to start off the year. “I should have acted more mature, more according to my year.”
He wondered whether he should linger around the school any longer today; he definitely didn’t feel much like it. Maybe going for a jog would put his mind off the subject.

Annie left the classroom with Ryuusuke, he held her hand as they walked together, probably so she wouldn't fall again, he was kind even if he seemed uninterested towards many things around him and Annie liked that about him.
smiling lightly she was about to say something, about to invite him to the botany club for a quick visit, she wanted to show him her plants since...well... that would mean they would have more time to talk about stuff and in Annie's book time spent making a new friend was time well spent, however, something seemed to spook him before she got the time to speak, he ran into a classroom and she waited by the door until he was done...

overhearing their conversation it seemed he had noticed something by the old school building... someone running around or something, and a mysterious glow... creepy, but not totally unrealistic.

Trying to calm him, and mostly because she didn't saw anything as at the time she was too busy looking down, trying to make sure she wouldn't trip again,

"Hm... well with all the interest around that old place I'm sure a student is exploring the place... since it's dark maybe that weird glow you saw was a flashlight... see? hehe very handy right?"

She smiled as she pulled out her cellphone, turning on her flash light and waving it around a little before turning off the light as she smiled holding her phone with both hands.

"I.. I just hope all those weird rumors stop... It's kinda scary even if I do try to always look at the positive side of things."
