Mortal have roamed Earth since the creative power had first decided that they should, fashioned in the likeness of Immortal creatures called Gods, and the gods were each at one time fascinated by them and wanted to walk among them. Sometimes they would come down to the mortal plain, pretending to be human and spend their time experiencing the mundane.

So this is a very rough idea and I would like to expand on it with interested players and possibly closely with a c-gm for the game. Thank you for the consideration.

Its a very general idea with a lot of room to develop. I like it. A few questions though.

Were you thinking a modern setting, with cities and suburbs? Or maybe set in a fantasy setting, or medivalish. Are the mortals aware of the gods existance as real or just an idea?

Are you thinking of this to just be a kind of slice-of-life RP or trying to find a driving plot device?

Well I wanted to go with a modern setting wherein the mortals are completely oblivious to the gods presence on Earth. Like today's society where a lot of people don't even believe in god or they believe in only a single one. So a bunch of gods walking around on earth would be unfathomable.

I don't have much of a plot idea at the moment, so if I do get enough interest without a plot I may run it as a slice-of-life and work on a plot on the way. Unless of course I think of something beforehand.

Yeah I really hope so too. If not then we can probably start and talk plot while we make characters etc. I've noticed my rps get more attention after they've gone up and started posting and stuff.

So, for the purposes of this game, are all human conceptions of divinity incorrect? Or just monotheism?

@Ereshkigal
Monotheism I would say; but I don't think all the gods will take part in this. Preferably just the Greek gods and such. But I guess human characters could believe whatever they will
