Ayaka put her headband back on, though she wasn't sure how much of the conversation Life was paying attention to. That was mainly because he told her that he doesn't usually make friends. It kind of made her think he wasn't used to conversing with others though she could be wrong. He was obviously paying enough attention to know she mentioned cats, however. "Yeah, cats can be fun to be around or they can be great if you want something quiet too."

Shermie then looked up form the book as Lady Violetta talked. Without a sound Shermie walked up to the front of the classroom and chose a seat, originally she wanted to sit in the back. As she sat down, she continued to study the the ancient text. As she did, the ancient writing on the cover gave off a dark purple glistening like Nightsahde or Death-bell would.
Shermie then had realized she had chosen a seat next to her kinsman, this was not intentionally, but she made do. Though Life was a vampire, she Shermie felt a different vibe off of him. Looking back at the book, she ripped out a spell page and stuffed it in her pocket before closing the book and setting it down.

“I want to speak a bit on Magic and its uses. I want each of you to listen to this carefully.
Magic is a tool that can be used for good or evil or anywhere in between. The magic user must be aware of what he or she is doing and why. There are consequences to using magic. Consequences can be devastating if the magic user is not aware of all of the effects of the magic that is being used.
The magic user is only as strong as his or her body’s endurance of the physical and mental abilities.
A) Physical Strength.
The magic user is only as strong as his or herself. Magic takes a lot of stamina to do and the body will be drained constantly when the person uses magic.
B) Mental Strength.
The magic user must be able to concentrate well, visualize well and think clearly as well as quickly. To do this we need to meditate and do mental exercises to make the mind stronger. Meditation is crucial to one’s mental ability. This is the way one learns how to concentrate, block out unwanted noises, keep the mind clear of intrusions and to imagine the impossible.
Knowledge.
The magic user must be able not only use magic but know the 3 parts of magic.

Main Classrooms
“As we came into the Castle, you saw a few rooms. There are 2 offices and an Infirmary. Each area is secured by a Sentient Pad that will recognize your Aura. More on the Auras later on.
This area where we are will be where your main classes are located at. There are 2 classrooms, the Anatomy Room, Magical Exercise Room and this lecture hall.
The area before this is where you will be eating. We will be eating family style most of the time but there will be times where we will have a buffet or occasionally a party.
In the dining room is one long table. I sit at the head and all students on one side or the other, leaving the foot open in case there is another teacher among us. Food will appear on your table after I ring the bell then we shall eat together as a family style.
In the next study area are the Independent Study Classrooms. For those who are taking Independent Study which will mean all of you will have at least one course in those rooms. The room that you will use will be the same as your room number. The Mythical Creatures and the beginning of Dragonology will be in the Lab. The testing lab is always closed and locked until the day of the testing. There are individual classrooms for personal independent study. Everything is in pale blue but later we shall go into town and pick out new things. You will have a list to fulfill and a specialized cart. The cart will have a special device that you will use to claim a cart. As you place the items in the cart, just scan them. It will highlight the items as you scan them. The aisles will be placed by each item on the list. If you want an item that is not on the list just type it in the search bar. Anything that is related to the item will show up. On this trip, I am allowing you to have extra items and money free. After this you will be given an allowance to use fo r your own things. You don’t even have to return the cart for it will belong to you. After you get back you will park the cart in a parking spot assigned to you by the Castle. That spot will send the cart to your room which is a small cart closet.
Tomorrow, you may change the colors of your room and the way your furniture is placed via PLTs. That device is Sentient as well. I will tell you more of that in a bit.

“If you look in the corner, you will find 3 stacks of boxes. Draconic Students will not have all of the Equipment that Traditional Students will have and vice versa. Draconic students will take a blue box and the Traditional students will take a yellow box. If you re going to take both courses, take the green box. Each of you will take your box to your seat. Please do not open them until you are instructed to do so.” Lady Violetta spoke as she looked towards the boxes.
“For the Traditional Students will have inside each box are smaller boxes. Please open box one first. In this box is a robe to protect yourself while in lab classes. The robes are of the magical sort and will stay clean.
Now for Draconic Students, please open your box one. It will have a sturdy pair of leather gloves.
If you have decided on taking both courses, you will have one of each of the items.
Everyone open the box with number 2 on it. In this box will be an Equipment Belt. Each Equipment Belt one will have two pouches and two slender tubes. One pouch will be used for your own snacks and the other one will be for snacks for your pet. One sleeve will be used for your wand and the other one will be a guide stick for your pet. Both you and your pet will be frequently hungry. You may eat in all classes except labs. The pets will be in your room during labs so that they will not get into the way. It might be dangerous for all of us if one happens to become scared for some reason.” Lady Violetta spoke to the students.
All Students open box 3. It has a cell phone inside it. When you pick up the phone it will register your aura. It will become yours exclusively. The phone has my number in them. If you want to add someone to your call list, all you have to do is to touch the heads of the 2 phones and they will register each other as a friend. You may register each other at lunch. Before anyone asks- NO. No you cannot use it to talk to anyone on Earth because it will not reach that far. Remember that you are in a different Solar System than the Milky Way. Things here do not work the same way as it does on Earth.
In the last box is a PLTS which is a Personal Laptop System or PLTs. Your Personal Laptop System or PLTs will be a valuable tool. They are super sensitive to touch. In fact, believe it or not, these PLTs are sentient. That means that it can think and feel on its own. I want to have you to be the first ones to touch them barehanded and imprint your aura on your own laptop. After your initial Imprintation, the PLTs will only work for you.
The case is opened from the front like so. When it is open, you will see the screen, the keyboard, and some new features. Keep the protective sheets on the areas when they are not being use will make your PLTs working at its peak. For the moment, please remove the two handprint sheets then place your hands on those two pads like the picture that was on there. Leave your hands on the pads so that the PLTs will register your unique Aura. After that is properly done, your PLTs will only allow you to enter information on it. You will know that it is done because it will begin to ask you a series of questions starting with your name, age, gender, likes and dislikes.
The main use for Draconic Students is rearrangement of your room. The Folder called Your Room will have a diagram of your room. You may rearrange your furniture by move the icons in the diagram. Once you have your things where you want them, leave the room. The Metal Plate will change to red for a few minutes. The Metal Plate will turn green signaling that the room is ready for your inspection. Remember that your room is Sentient and may rebel if you change the room too many times. It will exhaust the Magick in your room causing malfunctions.
Each of you Students will have an independent study to fulfill called Mythical Creatures. And you will pick out your very own baby pet to study and care for.
You may open the folder up called Mythical Creatureology. You will find all of the pets that you may have along with a short description.
Please choose wisely for you will need to be able to handle the pet for the rest of its life. They are sentient creatures. They will be either your friend or foe. You will have fun with them; have a lot of frustration, and work. Physical and paper workwise. In this book is an example of each creature and what is known about them. There are recommended tips to use. Each week you will turn in your paper work to me. However, we do not use paper here for normal work. Each of you a now have the specialized laptop. You homework will be on that laptop as well as your book will be in the case. You may look at the pets at lunch.
Most of these creatures are available to various students and some are just for staff alone. This is where you will get your information on the pets. Click on the blue colored words and it will take you to that particular page.

Do not use the wrong cleaner or it may harm your equipment. You have a special cabinet to store your cleaning solutions in which is located in your own room.
One last thing I want you to remember is that these items can only be used on MC- which is Magical Current, not AC which stands for Alternating Current or DC which is Direct Current. Any questions?”

"We do not use this particular room very often but you may keep the chair as long as you are a student here." Lady Violetta tapped the chair and Life was written on the chair. Are there any other questions for me to answer?" she asked as she gazed around the room.
"It will be as if you left for a boarding school. They will know that you are away but they will not worry. In fact one of your parents might even been to a magic school and will understand perfectly."

Desirae woke up to the birds singing which was a wonderful way to wake up. She was sorting through the limited clothes she had to choose from when she remembered the envelope that was at her front door last night. She got dressed quickly into her black hoodie and jeans, and went to go open up the envelope. She picked it up and opened it and it read:
Dear Desirae;
I know you have not heard of me before, but I have been looking out for you your whole life, now it's important for you to do as this letter says. You must go to the museum,I know you may be scared to go outside the woods, but I will look out for you, not to worru, as soon as you read this you may go. You will find one specific painting that will stick out to you, however much they say don't touch it,you must touch it, understood? Now you must go...

Once she read it, she was shocked, suspicious, but more than anything excited, she had always wanted to go to a museum, now she had the chance. She picked up an apple and ran all the way to the museum. Once she got there she was puffed, but she walked up the stairs quickly and went inside. Her mouth opened in awe as she saw all the wonderful paintings inside, she didn't know how she was going to choose. She walked around quickly and found this one painting that just made her smile.
She reached her hand out smiling and touched it, it was a strange sensation, it felt like she was literally going inside the painting. But one thing was for sure was that she didn't want to stop she went closer and closer, until she felt like she was falling and she screamed. She thumped on to the ground, and she stifled a cry getting up, wiping the dirt off her clothing, but then she looked up and realised she wasn't in the museum anymore she was in front of an academy, and was beginning to feel extremely confused when she saw the sign "Academy of Magical Talents and Draconic Arts". She was compelled to walk closer so she walked up to the sign and looked around for anybody else that was there.

Thomas felt the thump of a new student and looked at Violetta in surprise. She glanced towards him then nodded towards the door. He hurried out the door of the lecture and found his way to the Fall to see a new student.

Irena was like a little child looking at the objects Lady Violetta had given her, she was the kind of girl who would joke about the guys who played Dungeons and Dragons yet would have her eyes shining when she had read Harry Potter. She was typically a very carefree girl, yet for the things she truly cared she was almost a perfectionist, reading all the instructions and delicately handling them.
However when she finished setting up her PLT she felt an odd feeling, it was reassuring to know her parents wouldn't be worried yet it also felt a bit odd, being away from home and the few friends like that. Yes she would usually change school and even city yet her room was always her room, it could change in shape but the stuff was hers.
"Humm, if you don't mind Miss 'letta. May I ask if there is an uniform rule? We will be buying clothes in the village? Also, how long will this course last? Not that I'm in a rush to leave, on the contrary, just curious"

The only time you need to be really careful is in certain labs. When you need to wear lab coats, you will need to wear 3/4 sleeves or shorter. Shoes are always a must. The course is made up of semesters and summer camps. It will take years to complete. Five years here and then you will be allowed to test out of Island to explore other parts of the world. I do not teach all courses, only the beginning courses.

"Please follow me then. The rest of the group is in the Lecture Room. To your right is my office and Thomas office is on the left. When we get a Doctor, his office will be ahead. Next to the infirmary is the Grandfather Hall Clock. He will keep all of us on schedule. All doors are the sliding type to conserve space. Through this door and to the right.Dining room is ahead for your information. Through these doors is the Class Rooms. Here is the Lecture Room. Find a seat in the front row, please." Thomas spoke as he lead Desirae to the room.

@Aisling Shermie softly spoke. " This is a Mage school correct, so what types of magic are not permitted here?" She had already known that Necromancy was highly frowned upon by the Mage community, yet she wanted to have insight on whether or not she is able to use her abilities on school grounds.

"Don't want that biting you when you encounter a foe that has experience, it's all mind over matter dear.
