Out of curiosity is it ok if I expand the military section of my Nation Sheet and go into a bit more detail? Considering that we are already in a major conflict I think expanding on it a bit would be nice.

I think it'd be fine if you do it, but you'll probably want to ask MetalLover before you mention it IC.

That is cool but we should avoid that our character sheets become a dick waving contest about who got the largest most technological advanced army :)

History of the Nation:
The Year was 2020, and the world was a turbulent place, Arabia was Arabia, with the normal Unrest that was always in the region. To Combat this, Qatar and Bahrain joined the United Arab Emirates on April 1st, 2020, expanding the nation for the first time since the 70s.
The UAE continued it's usual process to stay peaceful, they kept an Alliance the United States, using them as a Shield just in case any nation would want to attack. This worked up until 2023, when a Coup against the Omani government led to a new militant party taking over the nation.
Oman Declared war on the UAE on September 13th, 2023. This war is what put the UAE on path to become a regional powerhouse in Southern Arabia. The UAE's superior weapons outgunned and destroyed the Omani army and quickly, a war that was supposed to be Oman conquering the UAE turned into a war that had the UAE conquering Oman.
The UAE's army had occupied all Omani land except the Capital, as it was the most fortified thing in Oman. Hourly, airstrikes by Emirati drones where flown over the City bombing it, but it still did not fall. That was until the first Napalm bomb was dropped onto the City. After five more Napalm bombings, Oman surrounded, and handed over its nationhood to the UAE.
The UAE stayed peaceful up until 2031 when the proxy war in Yemen finally ended and the Iranian Backed terrorists won against the government. Yemen, with economic support from Iran, declared war on the UAE in hopes of taking Oman back from the nation.
Oh Boy where they wrong
The United Arabian Army destroyed the war torn Yemen even more, ripping through city after city and occupying more and more territory. It took Iran legitimately joining the war against the UAE to finally stop them.
The Iranians fought the UAE to a standstill in the East, while Yemen in the West was still being occupied, just not as fast as before. When the UAE finally occupied all of Yemen, the Iranians made a peace deal with the UAE, the UAE would get all of Yemen but Iran would get the disputed islands that lied in between the two nations.
In 2037, the UAE's Sheikh died without an heir. This led him to make his last wish to make the UAE become a Republic, and he succeeded. The UAE's first election led to a Pilipino-Emirati man becoming the first Prime Minister of the nation.
He made laws that raised freedom of religion in the nation 10 fold, as the Prime Minister himself was Catholic. He raised the minimum wage of the nation, he strengthened the military, and he formally divided the Nation into 5 Republics that all listened to the one Central government. They where Bahrain (Bahrain and Qatar), Dubai (Northern UAE), Abu Dhabi (Southern UAE), Oman, and Yemen.
Since then, the UAR has become a sort of Utopia for immigrants coming from War, oppression, or any other reason to move. They still have large amounts of Oil, and they have the tallest Building on Earth. The Al Burj, the Capital Building of the UAR.
