I'll get a post up soon, our new recruit can hop in later. Btw, do you want to choose your first Herculean endeavor in character or out of character? IC might present good rp opportunities, but ooc would likely save a great deal of time
Looks good enough to me. I look forward to sending you to Grand Geode. Throw that shit in the character tab, make any adjustments you'd like, and maybe I'll get off my lazy ass and actually write a post.
It is going to be nice to have someone much more interested in the more fucking weird parts of the neath
I want to send you to Irem, but I think that a place in which all time is simultaneous and everything is in the future tense would be hard to write compellingly about for any length of time.
Funny you should ask. I decided to just pull the bandage off, and had you walk into the meeting halfway through. You're there now, being pressure to thumb some totally harmless correspondence sigil. Not exactly the best post I've ever made, but I needed to dump exposition. Things'll return to their pretentiously ostentatious style next post, fear not.
@Eschatologist Apologies, not trying to be overly difficult about placing a thumb on to a contract, just didn't feel that he with blithely sign a contract without asking at least a few questions about it.
Also I am not being intentionally dismissive of you other guys, we can get to that bit in as it develops.
@Eschatologist I hope you don't mind me giving the Mycologist a bit of knowledge into the legends and tales of the Neath. I sort of just want to get some posts in to establish more of a 'characterization'.
And @Malkin, in matters of the Bazaar, look to love always.
I am ok with your character having some knowledge of the Neath, but be careful not to let him know too much. Most of the citizens of the Neath do not know many of the mysteries of the place, and most of the surface dismisses the stories from the neath as tall tales. I would say that he can know things that an average londoner would know, but have some misinformation mixed in, seeing as he has has no real way to verify any of the stories he has heard.
Also, Malkin, you don't need to apologize about your character acting in character. It is fine and dandy, I would be skeptical about touching my thumb to a magical sigil thing too.
Well the idea is, he knows OF the secrets, as most Londoners do, as in, he knows OF the Correspondence, and the mysteries of the Elder Continent, and the Presbyterate, but most of what he says is his... Unique condition speaking for him.
Quick note: For a week or so starting tomorrow I may not be able to post, I am travelling to Nova Scotia with family to stay in a cabin, where I am told there is no Wi-Fi. Perhaps I am being lied to, but if not, please understand the reason for my absence. I do not wish to cause any alarm, (and I don't want to drop the RP, seriously, I love Fallen London/Sunless Sea/Silver Tree), but if you wish to move forward without me for a while, that is perfectly fine.
Posted for you @Eschatologist sorry for the outragously long delay. Been kinda caught up this past week, and then had a bit of writers block to top it off. Hopefull this will get the plot moving again.
I am still in the game. Start nights tomorrow so no problems with keeping tempo up this week. Moving house in two weeks so might be off line for a few days, Sky says the wifi should be up and running on arrival, but we all know what means .....
