Powers/Abilities:

Miko (Shinto priestess): She has power to raise and destroy barriers, bless and purify, and sense the presense of demonic and spiritual beings. While she never had the power to heal she had a great gift for shamanism; communing with spirits of the dead and channeling them. She is not a fully trained miko, given she has neglected deepen her studies to learn swordsman ship, but remains one of the more skilled shaman you will find.

Possession: Shinju is able to call on 3 spirits to aid her in battle, channeling them into herself through her blade and shamanic abilities. Each one has a unique effect on her battle capabilities. These can only be used while she is holding her sword in her hands and only one at a time and only for a short time.

"Strong Father": Sinju is enveloped in a misty red aura. While Channeling 'father', her physical strength is greatly increased enough where she is able to even cut through stone. her speed is no greater than her neutral state

"Swift Mother": Sinju is enveloped in a silvery mist. While channeling 'mother' her speed and agility is greatly increased enough to where she can match even great shinobi. Her strength is no greater than her neutral state.

"Enduring Brother": Sinju is enveloped in a blue mist while she channels 'brother, though not as completely as the others. It will focus about her forearms, shoulders, and shins; and appear much like she is wearing ghostly samurai armor. The ethereal armor can turn even powerful attacks, but She is even slower than normal in this state

Holy Sword: Her sword; Saigo no Kiyo ( Last of the pure ) is a specially made blade. It's an Odachi ( Great sword as seen in picture) and one of the only artifacts in her family's care to escape the fate that befell their shrine. It is naturally strong against demonic and other spiritual entities and energies but best against demonic. She must regularly purify the blade and is careful to never spill the blood of a mortal human with it as it would weaken its blessings. She uses this blade to channel her miko abilities, with out it her ability to perform her miko skills is greatly reduced and far more taxing.

Swords woman: She is a slightly above average swords woman, who wields the large heavy Odachi with surprising ease, though not as easily as she does her normal katana. With her special blade and the ability to channel her shamanism to alter her strength she is a deadly foe in close combat. She carries a normal sword with her for dealing with bandits and such to keep from using Saigo no Kiyo on mortals.

Other: No one is sure if those 3 spirits she uses in combat are her actual family. The ghost spirit orbs of her 'family' can sometimes be seen floating by her out of the corner of one's vision but never seen if looked directly at her. While few people ever catch a good look, it seems that there is a 4th spirit that hovers about her. When asked she responds by saying "I have no intention of acknowledging that one'

Origin: One of the 8 heads of the Orochi seeking to become the strong demon he was before. However he is also highly interested in setting ablaze anything in his path regardless of his goal.

Powers: Poison mist, poison touch, corruption and corrosion.
Origin: One of the 8 heads of the Orochi, looking ot find a way to become the great serpant once more with its other heads. He is also quite content to bring corruption and decay to beautiful things as he goes along. Life is no fun if you don't stop once in a while and ruin the flowers after all.

Powers and Abilities:
Healing- Uses the power of light to heal those around.

Can shoot balls of light and darkness.
Also has the ability to shield others to block an attack. (One hit Barrier)

Can see through deception.

Weakness: As a Sphere, it can get blown away by wind rather easily. Physically weak, and cannot really physically harm anyone as itself. Also weak to physical strikes.

Strengths: It's elements are light and dark. Hard to hit. Can defend for someone with a barrier.

Personality: Seen as a concerned individual who can be over caring.

Biography: A Spirit born of the moon's light that is native only to that of the world and has no true place of origin. Some believe it came from the Americas, others believe it was born in the feudal era- and they'd be correct. These beings listen to the wants and needs while trying to console those at the worldly shrines.

However, the Orochi are trying to kill off these spirits of purity in hopes of destroying hope.

Powers and Abilities: Same as his Lumen counter part.
If united with his Feudal self, he can double up on abilities for more powerful attacks and healing.
With both united, he can enable another to see through deception.

However in this form he is capable of physical combat. So he uses Ai-ki-Jujitsu. (Defensive fighting with flipping people with their own physical force.)

Strengths: Counter based physical attacks. Quick movement.

Weaknesses: Weak to poison. Not very strong in terms of physical strength.

Personality: He is cynical,snide,sarcastic, and inquisitive, but can be viewed as quite caring and possible a strong reliable leader.

Biography: In the future, he resides in the Shibuya district in Tokyo. Not much can be said other than he lived long enough to know how to blend in despite his frame not being fully human. He is however unable to state the events to those who are directly changing the past seeing as it may create time paradoxes.

Powers/Abilities
Oni
Noboru is an oni, a brutish youkai similar to trolls, ogres or demons. They can be good or bad, but they mostly just stick to their own, neutral affairs. What those affairs are depends on what kind of oni in question it is. What remains constant is the inhuman strength and propensity towards eating people possessed by their kind. Their weaknesses are holly leaves and exorcisms. Noboru is of the variety that punishes mortal sinners by scaring them straight (or eating them, or brutalizing them. Whatever works.) and are born from the deaths of the wicked or pious. Which one of these Nobu was in his past life remains to be seen.

• Detect Evil: Through the use of a third eye, Noboru can 'see' the accumulated sins of others in a manner not dissimilar to supernatural thermal imaging system. By focusing on one person they actually get a not-so-metaphorical read out, but looking through all the minor stuff is annoying so Noboru doesn't really use it. Without the third eye, he only gets a vague feeling of a person he focuses on.
• Man-Eating: By eating human flesh or drinking human blood, he can regenerate from wounds and regain stamina at an accelerated rate.
• Shapeshifting: Though not on the level of something like a kitsune, as an oni Nobu can change from a human form of either gender to a male oni form. He usually chooses something in-between, but as an oni he has red skin, longer horns, sharp claws, tiger-like teeth, and a third eye on the center of his forehead. He remains the same height/weight between forms though, and certain degrees of transformation restrict certain abilities
• Supernatural Condition: He is stronger, tougher, and has a bigger appetite than any human.

"Super" Super Strength
Noboru is an unusual one. Even considering he's an oni, he's ludicrously strong even among them. Unrestrained he can do some amazing stuff, but because he doesn't have the same degree of toughness to match, it costs him broken bones in whatever area he's using it with. To use it safely, he needs to restrict his strength to unexceptional (for an oni) but managable levels. However the fact remains that among even the mighty oni, his sheer physical strength is unmatched. He's pretty short for someone so strong, though.
