So, still trying to think of ideas for the next arc. Since we are going to be posting at a much slower pace, maybe it would be alright if we moved the story along a little faster. It'd help keep our interest. Like, we could try out the "the target is homosexual so Aleks has to step in" idea we had. I'd initially think it's too soon for that but... if we'll already be waiting months at a time for a post, it might as well be damn interesting and not wait for so much buildup. But since you wanted the target to be in the Bratva, I don't think we can do that this arc. It would draw way too much attention for Aleks to flirt with one of their own. Especially right before the guy ends up dying. Ugh, so that idea didn't help at all. lmao Okay, next one.

So I mentioned before that I didn't know if I wanted only male hearts to count and I think I have decided. The answer is "yes." How about the next set of targets involves one or more females and Lilith has to kill them anyway since they're present but she's upset she didn't get as many hearts as Aleks promised. But it's also her fault for not specifying. So they'll have a little spat over it but learn an important lesson about their communication. And it'd be a driving point for them to be a little bit more open so things like that don't happen again. And by "they open up" I mean Lilith. Lmao Aleks can still be secretive and manipulative and play off Lilith's impulsive nature. She really has no idea all that's going on around her, bless her heart. Ha ha ha (OMG, no pun intended there! XD) And I'm sure Aleks will love that he starts getting a little more information for free. Help with his control over the situation and his scheming and whatnot. ^-^

You know, unfortunately, it wouldn't exactly work for Aleks to flirt with one of his own. Would be hella funny, but it wouldn't really work out, I agree with that. But! I really like the idea presented in the second paragraph. Since you mentioned that the next set of targets could involve a few females, that's definitely an excellent setup for Lilith opening a bit, and Aleks learning that only male hearts count could very well lead to "the target is homosexual" arc.

Also, I was thinking, since we'll be posting more slowly, would it be good if we made time-skips present every now and then? I mean, that would at times make a lot of sense for us to get involved in different acts without having an enormous amount of buildup for them. What do you think about that?

Also2, something just clicked in my head. What if Aleks was invited to a banquet of a sort? Or a dinner or something. With a few Bratva members and their wives/girlfriends/friendswithbenefits. That way, he could pull Lilith along with him or they could be seen together, something that could trigger another set of victims right there and then. I'm talking out of the top of my head right now, sorry, I have a nasty headache >.>

Awesome! I'm glad we figured something out. ^-^ So I guess we'll go with that, then. I know last time you gave me very basic character descriptions and let me go wild with the murder scene, did you want to do that again or do you want to just give me a few parameters and have me come up with the victims? I can do it either way, just depends on how much free time you have and whatnot. HA. I say that as if I have much free time to spare. :P

And I'm totally down for time-skips. :) As we've both more or less stated, we can't really afford to have a slow plot when the RP is going to be moving at a slow pace. To wait months for a post where nothing stimulating happens is a great way for us to lose interest and let it die for good. That's something I certainly don't want to happen. Plus, we have lots of great ideas for arcs but they'd be a little ridiculous to happen back to back. But it'd also be pretty ridiculous to play out every little mission between story arcs. This isn't Naruto, we don't need fillers. XD

Oh gosh, I would love for Lilith to go to a banquet with Aleks. How sad his life must be if he can't find a better (or at least better behaved) option than her. Ha ha ha It seems like he'd be more careful than that, usually. So we should probably have a reason for it. Like Aleks finds out there's a hit out for him or something so he wants an inconspicuous body guard. Or we could include that in the supernatural hunter arc. Lilith is the one that needs protection. Oooh, that could work nicely, actually. She goes with him, something triggers a slaughter then and there, Aleks has the shock and panic of them almost getting caught, and then right when that fiasco starts to seem like it's coming together, the hunter shows up, drawn by the commotion. Then Aleks gets to step up and be the bad ass protector that is making me swoon just to think about. @_@ I mean, it isn't for any romantic sentiments and is simply because Lilith is a useful tool but still, that is a form of attachment to her which is enough to make me giddy. And that'll be a huge turning point for their relationship. Lilith will almost fully trust Aleks at that point and as a result, will become fiercely protective of him.

Oh gosh, the more I think about it, the better it gets. Lilith choosing to trust Aleks means when he fails to deliver at a rate that satisfies her, she'll feel a sense of betrayal on top of her impatience and frustration. Which is good character motivation for her to start becoming threatening and stalkerish. They had a deal and he managed to sneak under her skin despite all her walls and defenses. That's really gonna burn her up. But rather than be angry at herself for being foolish and trusting a man like him so easily, she's going to do the impetuous thing and take it out on him. Lol God I love these characters. <3 They are the most frustrating not couple couple ever. Ha ha ha I just want to see them together forever even though I still don't know if this story is going to have romance, let alone a happy ending. XD

You know, sure! Since last time I came up with the victims, you can do it this time around. Especially if Aleks is going to be involved in some way with the scene - I love surprises :P But, if lack of time calls for it, I'm always able to come up with the victims. Or help you create them, if need be.

Great to hear that :) I definitely agree with that, wouldn't do much good to have a post every few months without anything stimulating actually happening in it. That said - I kind of have a feeling our posts will get a bit longer at one point, especially when it comes to carrying out some parts of the missions. But I personally don't mind that, if it comes down to it. We definitely don't want Naruto fillers here :P While we're at it I hope we won't have a Naruto type ending either -.-

Hahaha, almost woke up the household right now, "how sad his life must be" - pure gold. Yes! That would actually work great for the hunter arc. I love it. But that definitely shouldn't be an arc right now. Even with a time-skip, I feel the two need a bit more time before they get to the stage of a relationship where they start trusting each other more. Just a bit more. But this is definitely going to get convoluted, I feel.

We have our characters involved in massacres around town, a mafia boss sinking his teeth in Aleks' neck, a possible hit arranged by someone in the mafia, police and one of the better investigators involved, supernatural hunter - God! So many things unraveling. That's going to get crazy at one point and I feel I'll love every word of it :3

They are, aren't they?! The best most frustrating not couple couple :D Yeah, a happy ending is not what one could assume will happen considering how everything is lined up now, but you never know. Maybe they actually manage to work something out. Wouldn't deem it impossible.

As for right now - our current arc. We can safely say we wrapped up the "First of the year ARC" or whatever we are going to call it :P So it's time to turn our head towards the "Some females are going to be in a set of targets, pissing Lilith off - police getting more active, mafia getting more agitated ARC". :)

Let me see here... considering the guys you killed from the other gang weren't exactly top-tier, I'd keep it at that with the Bratva members as well. At least this time around. Maybe not lower level ones, but rather intermediate. Maybe one of the victims could be connected directly to one of the higher up members of the Bratva. Like a brother for example. Or a sister. That would be interesting. Since Aleks is careful and would probably make sure no members of the Bratva he gifts to Lily are brothers of a more powerful member - but if a couple of females are going to make their way into the set of targets, one of them could very well be family to that one member.

Interestingly enough, Lily going in, posing as a woman who wants to become a prostitute could explain why more females found themselves at the scene. She could end up at a group recruitment or something, even though Aleks thought it would be only Lily there as a recruit. That wouldn't make him look stupid or incompetent, but would rather involve one element he has little control over - people outside of Bratva. :P

XD I was trying to think of the easiest way to include females and figured, sadly, prostitution is the most likely area you'd find multiple women in the Bratva. There is one hiccup I've identified in this idea but I think I have it worked out. Since you're up to post, I figured we should have it hammered out what Aleks is going to tell Lilith about the next mission. Unfortunately, it can't be too straight forward because if Aleks said it was about prostitution 1.) Lilith would probably give him an earful about how revolting his plan is and, more importantly, 2.) Lilith would know off the bat women would be involved and she'd tell Aleks it wouldn't satisfy her needs and refuse to go (stubborn brat XD). So I'm thinking Aleks could tell her it's supposed to be an invite-only house party. Very hush-hush so there will be a controlled number of people and most of the people will be drinking and/or on drugs so their guards will be down. Now, this could be a lie just to avoid Lilith's outburst or, what I'm thinking, is it could be the truth. However, this little house party happens to be some cocky douche-nugget's attempt at looking cool. He's a low (and relatively new) member of Bratva but he wants to show off to his old friends. So he recruited some of the prostitutes and invited a couple of his old friends to impress them with the company he's now keeping. If you wanted to include the sibling of an intermediary member, either McDouche-Nugget himself could be the younger brother or we could have him dating the younger sister.

It would work well, though. It would be a controlled group, as stated before, but it could also potentially remove a thorn from Aleks' side. Undoubtedly, Aleks would frown upon Mr. McDouche-Nugget and wouldn't mind no longer having to work with him, either indirectly or not. Ha ha ha He's just too classy to want to be associated with trash like that. And it wouldn't be surprising for Aleks to not know exactly who would be at the party since it would be "surprising" he knew about it at all. I say "surprising" because he has no reason to know about it but since he's Aleks, of course he's caught wind of it. XD

Oh, and Aleks could get Lilith in the door by Telling McDouche she is a 'particularly beautiful and spirited' new prostitute (he DEFINITELY doesn't tell her this, of course, so she learns that's the role she's playing when she gets there. LMAO). HA HA HA God, just thinking about all this is making me audibly laugh. Why am I consistently so mean to Lilith? My poor, murderous baby. <3 LOL

Anyway, if you're down for everything in this very lengthy explanation, I'll leave you to work on the post to start setting the scene and I'll work on the super basic/ rough CSs so you can get a sneak peak of what to expect in the big post. :3 If you want to suggest changes, I'm sure I'll love 'em. :)

Don't worry about it, Aleks is going to find some way to coerce Lilith into going, without mentioning her newly acquired status of a prostitute hopeful :P I've got it all figured out more or less. Lovin' the inclusion of that bratty douchy character who wants to make his reputation grow. But, instead of making him a brother to someone from the Bratva, I am more up for his girlfriend to be a sister. Because if he was indeed a brother, Aleks would know it and wouldn't target him like that. But she gives an element of surprise and suspense to all of this :3 Do you wanna make that douchy character or do you want me to make him?

If it doesn't involve making yourself look good or plotting the downfall of a long-lived and wide-spread crime syndicate, it's hardly worth his time or mental capacity. He's a well-dressed man on a mission, he doesn't have time for grudge matches or stubborn defiance and he certainly doesn't have time to be looking for appropriate silverware. XD

Nope, I feel you know the scene well enough. If you want to relocate the characters to avoid the nosy old lady, feel free to. Lilith would follow without making a scene. And if you want them to go up to her room, you're welcome to describe it or leave it to me. But if you go that route, Lilith's hotel room is modest and outdated- I'm thinking 70's browny-orange carpet type decor. It's clean and well maintained just... very unstylish. Basically the opposite of Aleks' place. Ha ha
