Curse is like skype, but so much better. It doesn't eat up as many resources as skype does, so it so much easier to handle other games with it.

Wildfire would be the last thing you would want to use, as Aezophyl has a complete mastery of such things. Otherwise, Shadow Prison could have a bit of an effect and enchanting the weapon with Wild Blow could do some, but his armor is specially demon enchanted, and it would be difficult to actually kill him with them.

Second note, is her magic founded in any way from the same stuff that composes demons (Forbidden realm)?

Her mother was from an ancient clan of witches. Her grandmother was the head of the witches. She didn't come out with the ability for much magic except for shadow magic. It is possible her grandmother could've cursed her, and that curse or their magic even, was pulled from the forbidden realms

If it did, the effect is greatly reduced on demons. Demons wade in magic of the sort, so a little used against them without any serious training in the main line would more likely be something that demons laugh at.

Rofl great, I have a useless character lol oh well. I'll/she'll have to think of a way around that. Technicallyshe has no idea where her abilities come from. They could or could not come from her. The shadow weave I suppose was derived from the forbidden realm or something like it.

They may or may not come from there, I never really decided. Would it be incredibly cheesy of me if I said now that they didn't? According to the forgotten realms lore, Shadow weave is less suited for magic that manipulates energy or matter. Whatever sort of magic she has within her, thats exactly what it does when activated. But it is a great reason why she would've been disowned from the clan her mother belonged to, along with the many other reasons to be disclosed in game ... if ever gotten to that point. It's not necessarily forbidden magic, but rather just from a dark place.

You could make it a spinoff of the weave and give her powers some use :P

They could probably be effective against non-demons otherwise.

thats pretty much what shadow weave is, and moreso created from a darker energy ... so there lol she's not all that useless

Alright @IcePezz and @ArenaSnow, so how about we start throwing magic systems into a cocktail. How about:

There are two sets of weaves: One made of positive energy (Life/Divine/etc), one of negative energy(Demonic/Undead). By drawing threads from both these interlaced webs, one creates a magic effect. Drawing strictly from the Positive Weave, one gets divine magic and healing. Drawing exclusively from the negative weave begets necromancy and all sorts of blasphemous funtimes. Drawing from both indiscriminately causes the positive and negative to cancel out, allowing manipulation of nature and energy. Separating the two kinds of weaves from one another is naturally extremely difficult. Deriving positive threads is normally done by good-aligned gods and angels, and negative threads are usually pulled by evil-aligned gods and demons/devils. Mortals can separate them, but they usually cannot do it as well or as easily as supernatural beings of the proper alignment. Isabeau can naturally separate Negative threads from the weave without trying too hard (the basis of her shadow powers), which makes her an anomoly.

I haven't really posted many details of it, so it's partially my fault, but the essence of the demons completely relies upon a connection outside of the mortal realm of extremely foreign energies. Hence the demons are entirely unnatural.

I could post more on that later, considering I have thought it relatively through. Some parts would have to be discovered in-character.
