Basically, I am thinking of an RP.

It will be based upon Oriental concepts, some Chinese and Japanese.

There will be a limit on races, so you just can't play any race. Furthermore, all players will start off as basic, as opposed to higher levelled.

This idea was initially planned to be some sort of MMO dimension, but those reduce freedom

Anyone interested?

Although I think I need more information. If this is going to be an MMO-type thing, are there going to be classes?

That was the original plan. You can be any class that's logical.

Races will be oriental so instead of orcs, we have oni, instead of elves, we have Kitsune, instead of beastmen, we have Jinling, etc.

The base idea is excellent, but I agree that more information is needed to continue idea.

Is there some kind of plot? I'm fine with open world all the same.

It's mostly open world, but there may be subplots from time to time.
