Sup kids. The actual reason for my absence is that I'm moving to Amsterdam to study in about a month's time, and the university is supposed to give me accommodation.

They didn't.

So I'm moving to a foreign country I've never been to, and don't have anywhere to live. Much panic. Many concern.

Fortunately, this is still creeping along at a pace that I don't have to be terrified by, and you're all still here, so I don't need to worry about being online to bitch about whether or not you've posted. Am going to PM one of you my email address so if you need me but I'm not logging on, you can reach me anyway.*

@MyCatGinger It is an awesome event! though terrifying I'm getting certified for insurance you see, and I hear it's not so easy. Especially since I can't stop watching Robot Wars. And old Battlebots clips from the 2000s. And the Battlebots reboot they're doing now. :x

because there is a legit chance I might be living on a houseboat next year. The idea of chilling at Christmas-time in the middle of Amsterdam on a deckchair on top of my houseboat with a dirty great doob with huge coats and boots on for the cold is basically keeping me through.

I'm gonna endeavour to bump this along in the next week with or without placeholders. I'm not, however, promising, because obviously I remain homeless-to-be and that's currently a top priority as I'm sure you understand. Having taken a little break from this, I also basically need to catch up on what I had planned next and react to the usual hurricane of surprise at least one of you has thrown at me.

Speaking of Bliss, has anybody seen her around?

I'm still househunting atm, but there's a chance it might all be sorted soon on the aforementioned houseboat. Because this means contracts and shit, it's actually more time-consuming than the usual househunting, so this is likely to be further delayed, especially since I'm still looking for new places just in case the smokeboat falls through. Sorry once again for RL being a bellend, and thanks again for bearing with me.
