COMMONER AND OTHER POSITIONS OPEN
We all know the storybook tales of princes and princess falling in love and living happily ever after. Or the commoner who gets the prince with some stroke of luck. But what about those who don’t get those fairytale endings? What of those who don’t get to find their true love and are left with whoever their parents decide for them? How does everything end for them and how can they possible always stay alive?
The princes have been wed off, or well… almost. They are arranged to be married within the year, hopefully to make ties with the other kingdoms better. There has been a slight uprising as some of the people don’t like to live under the ruling of the current families. The Kings and Queens have definitely noticed and are trying to cut this off before it can begin. Except… not all those want to stop the fighting. There are Dukes and Duchesses who are looking to overthrow the royal families and are gaining the followers to do such. Some people want all the kingdoms to just become one and not have them so split and they are willing to do anything to get that. Death threats and attempted murder abound.
There are only going to be eight spots available to start with, because I like smaller RPs better then ones that just keep trying to gain more players and never start. If you would really like to be a commoner and not one of the eight arranged to be married, then talk to me and we can see about it. We may need some servants and such, but those can come if there’s enough interest. If you are going to play a female, you may either be a princess of a kingdom or a child of the Dukes, all males are going to be princes unless they aren’t arranged to be married, then talk to me and we can see about it. You may create family within any of the royal families, but make sure to explain your connection to that family. I’ll consider adding more kingdoms if this gets more interest so let me know if you want to be royalty but all the spots are taken.
The arranged marriages will be based on you ranking the other characters 1-4, which will happen after all the slots are full. I will have you PM me and tell me the top three you think will be most interesting with your player. I will make the marriages based upon that, because I think it’s the fairest way so I’m not just throwing you together randomly. However, your characters do not have to be straight, these are arranged which means they may not have agreed to anything themselves. They may also be evil and helping to overthrow the kingdoms.
Eslana – The name of the land for all of the kingdoms. Very prosperous and a truly beautiful land.
Erendale – Kingdom that has a lot of military presences. Often known for all of their little shops of unique gifts, Erendale is also known for their factories and supply of material goods to the other kingdoms. They are a well built city with lots of buildings and rich enough for all their people.
Moor – Known for their wetlands, they are often the ones who are growing foods for the other kingdoms. They typically don’t value materialistic goods as much as the others, being fine to live in small houses and have their own farms to make their own food. There is a lot of trade between Moor and the other kingdoms.
Paplia – Paplia is the true developer, they make all of the material necessities for the other kingdoms. Of course the others do some of their own, but typically if you buy paper or a chair or toys it comes from Paplana. They are a very well off community and tend to be more showy with their things.
Freyea – This is the kingdom that holds the most courts. If there is a reason that all of the Kings and Queens must come together, they go to Freyea. As such, it has the biggest community and they aren’t all the most well off citizens. The king and queen of Freyea try to keep all of their community at the same level. They are at the center of most of the other kingdoms and tend to be looked at as the top of the top.
