Paranoid me wonders why people want to talk to me.
Normal me is like pfft, i'm awesome.

And now some woman is messaging me on facebook like 'why don't we talk anymore? are we still friends'
seriously people.

Really? If you gotta ask that you've thought of one of two things. Either you insulted me so badly that it would make me not want to talk to you, or you're insecure and require attention for your existence to meaning anything.

The people I talk to on here are what I would call friendly people, my friends would consist of my racing buddies and the guy I've known since grade 3. Is it bad that I only call the people on here good acquaintances? No, because I enjoy your company but the relationship between us all is strictly limited to this forum. We have a good time, a chuckle, but I wouldn't be telling you my personal, financial or emotional problems.

Some people just don't understand what a friend is, and I bet we can blame Facebook for adding a counter to how many friends you own.

I've met people on here that have blossomed into deep friendships. Kru and my Waifu? And half of my RP partners. I wouldn't go a day without them.

Cept @Daxam, who posted here until i role played with him and then left. ;P He used me. My thread suffers slightly.

There's two sides to this, though. While you're right - the line of "friend" has been blurred by social media, I think some people just naturally have a looser definition of the term. I have lots of friends on the forums and off the forums that I don't have nearby in real life. I care about them and we're very personal. But I'm not the type to need that physical connection to somebody to feel a connection to them. I'm not going to get all weird or anything, but I consider my friendships a lot like the law. Rather than being innocent until proven guilty, you're a friend until proven asshole. XD But I digress...

So... I guess this means we're not friends...? :'(

On a side note, Nutter, don't ever change that avatar... ;w; Just don't.

Turns out the girl messaging me on fb hasn't made any friends since moving stateside and I'm the only girl she clicked with while living here.
._. now I feel bad for assuming she'd move away and get a glorious life.

On the other hand, I know far too many 'Sam's. They've gotten codes. Boy Sam, Girl Sam. Blond Sam. Dog Sam, old friend Sam, Gamer Sam, Dad Sam.... @_______@

While yes I did seem a bit black and while with my statement, it was probably more focused towards people that define their existence by their popularity. I do have some good online friends, and I have a lot of people that I trust who I have never met. I guess I just have a higher standard sometimes because of what has happened to me in the past with people I used to care about.
