Ah, I never finished reading Fullmetal either, but I enjoyed what I did get to. I'm actually rewatching the Naruto series right now hahahahahhHhahahhHAHAH. For years I've been starting and stopping it, I figured I should finally commit and finish the damn thing.

As for me, I'm trying to piledrive my way through the Ace Attorney franchise. Currently on Miles Edgeworth Investigations before I move onto finishing Dual Destinies. <<
If you haven't given it, and Dangan Ronpa, a shot I most certainly recommend them.

Ever since I fell head over heels in love with Mad Max Fury Road (see new avatar), I've had an epiphany that I actually love all things ridiculous. And older action movies in general, and cars blowing up. I should've realized this when I was clapping and gleefully laughing like an idiot as I watched Godzilla Final Wars.

I mean, you can either roll your eyes at the ridiculous, or you can embrace it, and suddenly the ridiculous becomes the ridiculously awesome.

Yes, yes it was. (And that's really the only way to describe it; fucking awesome) I saw it 3 times. I was hoping for a fourth time, but alas. It's actually topped my favorite action movies list, beating Terminator 2 and Die Hard.

It's maddening, because of all the people I dragged to went with to go see it, only one person (my best friend) loved it as much as I did. Sigh

edit: Unless you're talking Godzilla Final Wars in that case, also awesome but dear god see Fury Road when it makes it to Dvd/blu ray

Nah, I'm definitely talking about Fury Road. Which, interestingly enough, I was reluctantly dragged to by my best friend, and ended up loving the shit out of it.

Excellent. One more person with good taste, one less person I have to harrass for not seeing it.

My BFF's reaction to it was priceless. She walked in tired as hell from working and listening to me hype up the movie so much about how great it is, then when it was over I peeked over at her and she was gripping the seat. And then on our way out she said, awestruck, "You really weren't kidding...EVERY ACTION MOVIE SHOULD BE LIKE THAT!"

Though earlier during that same viewing there were two guys who heard Theron say 'guzzoline' then just shook their heads and left. Sigh. Some people just hate fun.

Soooo...how's everybody? I just started a workout routine after 24 years of sitting on my ass and I'm sore as hell and my legs hate me. But it feels good.

I'm getting fucked by my online course. I have entered the 5th, of the 5 total weeks in which I am being asked to shove a year's worth of a highschool class into my brain... So basically this is finals week on crack for me. And it's the second time I've done it this summer. Because my "doing something interesting with my summer" is apparently, "work 5 times as hard as you do during the rest of the year."

...mostly because I've been spending lots of time with friends. I don't get home for proper until Saturday!
I'm living that high class hotel life. Room service, bubble baths, the pool!

There IS a dog shelter organisation sorta thingy I suppose I could volunteer at, but I don't know if that's gonna help my case or not.
It probably isn't the same at all in the eyes of veterinary colleges, so that's a bummer. I have to start applying sometime this winter. It's pretty nerve-wracking, actually.

Currently, no. Possibly in a few years, but not yet.

Honestly, if there were relevant companies that are local that would be willing to accept interns, I'd definitely be doing it. But suburban central NY isn't exactly a hot spot for computer-oriented careers, and even if it was they wouldn't have much interest in a teenage intern

If I wanted an internship in farming, perhaps that would be doable. Or perhaps I could shadow a drug dealer. Half the town either is one or is friends with one anyways...
