Welcome, to my emporium of would be characters. Feel free to peruse around. These characters aren't for sale however, though if you feel like you want a slight amount of inspiration you can keep looking. No stealing either, that of course won't be tolerated. Treat it more like a storage locker that everyone can see.
Username: RawrgnatheBloodfridge | Character's Name: Gen Katsuragi | Character's Age: 25 | Character Gender: Male
Appearance:
Gen is a somewhat handsome looking gentleman, with a clean-cut face, and wild blonde hair that he curls upwards. He stands at 5'7, due to both of his parents being rather short, and he has somewhat developed muscles. He weighs 134 lbs., and isn't sluggish in any way. He normally wears a white undershirt, with his favorite blue vest on the top. His pants are normally baggy and lightly colored, though he tucks them into his brown leather boots to prevent them from snagging too much. He has green eyes, and a slightly tanned Caucasian skin tone all over. He has average sized ears, a petite nose, and short eyelashes. He also wears a necklace that his father gave to him before he died, with the pendent being a golden leaf.
Bio:
Gen grew up under the care of his loving father and mother, and was an only child. He had heard tales from his father of a land not too far away, where he had fought monsters and giant trees. His mother would always back these up, saying that they were true. At the young age of 5, his father taught him how to use a sword using wooden sticks at first, and graduating from there. As he grew, Gen saw less and less of his mother, his father stating that she was "going to see the trees" every day.
At the age of 10, Gen followed his mother in secrecy one night, as she went into the nearby forest. Watching from behind a bush, he heard her speaking to seemingly no one. "Please, I must live to see my son a full-grown man," was all he could make out. Gen had no idea what she was doing, but it sounded as though she were praying. Several months later, he never saw his mother again, and blamed his father for this. They constantly fought for the next two years before all his father did was cry constantly. With no idea why, his father told him to become an adventurer; to live out the life that he wanted to, but Gen stayed with him anyways. One year later at 13, Gen's father passed away from an illness. With no family left, Gen traveled with his father's sword in tow, which he spoke about dearly. Doing the occasional odd jobs and gaining strength and wisdom.
At 16, Gen was found by a group of thieves, who took him in as a cook. Over time, he rose through their ranks, and at the age of 19 became their leader after the previous one 'passed away.' He grew more ruthless as a thief, though still sticking by the moral code he grew up with. Infamous, hated, yet at the same time loved by the town that adopted him, whom he shares most of his treasures with. Growing through 9 years of fighting and nimbly escaping death has given him quite some experience with skirmishes both big and small, though never a fight where he was clearly outmatched.
Personality:
Gen tries his hardest to be gentlemanly, though he houses a rather short temper. A Casanova, due to his lack of much interaction with women growing up, pretty girls never escape his sight now. Gen is extremely loyal to whatever cause he takes up, and while he does enjoy playing tricks and arguing, he tends to be extremely cocky as well. Claiming that the "Spirit of the Sword" that he wields is why he hasn't died despite coming extremely close on several occasions.
His father had once explained to him that the inscription on the sword, "Saya no Uta," was because it belonged to a powerful warrior named Saya, who faced countless demons and monsters hundreds of years ago. Also claiming that the warrior's fighting spirit was still inside of the sword, and that it was passed down through generations as a guardian to their house. "The Song of Saya," it translated to, caused Gen to become completely enamored by the weapon. Insisting that each time he survived a fight was because the spirit of Saya gave him the strength to do so. Because of it, he believes himself invincible so long as he is fighting for the right. A quote he's often heard saying is, "Saya's song will be the last you ever hear."

Love's Vagrant
Username: RawrgnatheBloodfridge | Character's Name: Viridis Nocelia | Character's Age: 50 |
Character Gender: Female
Appearance:
Despite her age, Viridis still looks like an incredibly young girl of about 10-12 years of age. Her hair is somewhat odd for a fae, with three colors going down to about her knees. The hair surrounding her head and scalp is a golden blonde. The hair from her shoulders to her waist is a light green, while the hair from her hips to knees is an incredibly grassy green. Standing at only 4'7" tall, her stature is rather fragile as well, with extremely pale and doll-like skin. Her eyes are an amber yellow, and she often wears dresses made by herself, which usually entails leaves and flowers. She prefers to be bare-footed as well. She also bears a rather lofty pair of wings, though the span of each of them is only three feet and they resemble that of a butterfly's.
Bio:
Although she does not know this, Viridis was born on the day that one of the great forest’s fell, but for a purpose. Fae are not born like humans. They are first the essence of magic gathered between two fairies in love, who then give an offering of their own magic to the forest to create a child. However, Viridis didn’t come into the world because of two Fae’s love, she was simply created from the essence of an abundance of magic that traveled from the newly dead forest, and compacted to create a child somewhere else. Due to this, she possessed a far greater affinity for magic than any other fae, as well as a purpose. Born of a dying forest to no parents, the elders of the village she was born into knew she was special. She came to become the next guardian, as their current one was nearing the age at which they were being forced to become one of the spirits of the forest, and she was clearly there as the mark of the end of an age.
Viridis grew up in a smaller fae village than most, with little to no influence over the forest. As a child, she found herself doing far more adventurous things than most other fae, never having friends because of her brash nature. At the extremely young age of 8, she was chosen to become the new guardian, as a recent tragedy in a forest not too far away had scared most of their own forest. Wondering if the ways of the old were starting to become ineffective, the village elders devised a new way for the girl to become a guardian. Instead of training under the previous guardian, she would instead learn from the humans nearby.
Considered sacrilegious and crazy, she was sent off to the nearby town to study under a man who was above proficient with magic. Bestowed with the protection and benefits of the forest, Viridis could not grow old, and became immortal. Although she could still die to sustained injuries or illness, Viridis was to prepare herself under this magician to defend her forest. Learning various magic over the years, and even outliving her master, Viridis learned to love the humans and vowed to protect both them and the forest.
Come the age of 40, Viridis was warned by the forest spirit that she needed to prepare extensively, as it grew more and more weaker due to the industrialization of the humans. Told that once it came down to the wire, she would need to decide between the two worlds she loves so dearly. Viridis honed her magic so that she could accomplish both no matter what, spending the next ten years in the solitude of her once master's home and training herself with his books.
Personality:
Not very serious, Viridis prides herself in the way she balances fun with her spell casting. Despite never having friends with anyone but her master, Viridis is quick to be empathetic and friendly to those who would otherwise wish her harm. Viridis isn't complicated in any way, though she does wish that humans were less rude, and the denizens of the forest much more smart. She tries to convince the humans to stop progressing so fast, as it's clearly harming the forest, due to it's fairly slow rate of adaptation. Viridis still has her childlike innocence, though she tends to try and act more mature than she understands at times. Of course despite her huggable personality and appearance, when things get rough she is a master of spell-based combat. Though still technically a guardian in training until she's 58, her attacks are devastating; combining the innate magical ability of the fae, and the destructive abilities of the humans, she can go on the offense rather easily.
Spells:
Hovering: All Fae can hover even without thinking as children. It is a natural ability that gives them quick maneuverability for running away and hiding.
Shrinking and Growing: Another innate ability, Fae normally stay in their shrunken size of about 4 or 5 inches tall, but can grow to be about as tall as a child. They can do this literally instantly, and doesn't take much stamina. However, she can shrink and grow others, though it takes much longer than by herself.
Aura Sensing: As a guardian, Viridis can determine something's standings based on the aura it gives off. Blue means morally good, while red means morally bad. White represents something with a pure heart, and black the opposite. Purple represents those who can be unpredictable between the two. Though this only extends to humans.
Pyrokinesis: The thing that the forest hates the most is in the palm of her hands. The ability to create fire and use it according to her limits. Due to her natural adversity to fire however, it tires her out faster than anything.
Elven Tongue: Fae can speak to the inhabitants of the forests, whether they be animal or bug, useful for information.
Aquakinetics: Water is used much more so as a defensive tactic. Hard for her to change it's states, water can be used offensively though it drains her to use it like that.
Sylvakinetics: So long as Viridis is within the domain of the forest, she can bend it to her will. Moving trees to attack her enemies, and flinging rocks with her mind. Used for escape and offense. The forest is the last place you want to fight her.
Light: A strange spell she learned from her master is that of light. Using her literal soul, she can produce a strange power source that gives her an incredible boost in magic ability and capability. It drains her incredibly fast, but works as a way to beat the unbeatable and break the unbreakable in a short amount of time.

Username: RawrgnatheBloodfridge | Character's Name: Noren Cait | Character's Age: 28 |
Character Gender: Male
Appearance:
Noren is a man of demeaning size, being 6'2" and 160 lbs., with long raven black hair that goes down to his shoulders, and bangs that he curves around his ears. Being a thief, he wears mostly dark colors, and tight clothes to accentuate his muscles. His eyes are a piercing blue color, and he often wears a menacing look on his face. Noren also has many scars covering his body.
Bio:
Noren didn't exactly have a fun childhood, as his parents would constantly be moving around because of their nomadic lifestyle. They believed in being self-sustaining, and not having to rely on other people of a village or town. As he grew up, Noren was forced to do all of the hard work of the family, carrying things and sometimes building things. Once he came to the age of 13, his parents believed he was old enough to take care of himself, and so they left him one morning. Noren made his way to a town shortly after, forced to steal in order to live. For the next few years he lived by himself in the woods nearby, stealing from the town, until a group of thieves came to him, asking for his talents.
Over the rest of his life, Noren lived with a thieving crew, watching soon as a new recruit joined the ranks and moved up incredibly fast, earning himself the title of leader through killing the previous one. Noren was enraged at this, as he was almost the senior member of the crew, watching as someone 3 years younger than him was ordering him around to do menial things. Noren begrudgingly followed his order, planning on killing him when the time was right.
Personality:
Short-tempered but strategically smart, Noren somehow developed a quick thinking mind while being forced to steal in order to survive. he tends to act more sophisticated than he looks, and while packing a lot of muscle, can do many things with finesse. He sees everyone as being vastly inferior to him, and he wishes to be able to kill everyone who stands in his way.

Username: RawrgnatheBloodfridge | Character's Name: Ellia Tetsuko | Character's Age: 23 | Character Gender: Female
Appearance:
Ellia is half orient, with her Grandparents being migrants from an eastern island. Because of this, she doesn't much exude the oriental look, but clearly follows the traditions. Her hair is a light brown, and eyes a mellow hazel. Her height is 5'5", and physique is fit. She normally tends to put on dresses and gowns because of her noble uprising. She has a very posh stature, and looks that suit. She prefers blue colors on everything she wears, even going so far as to dye all of her hair blue as well.
Bio:
Growing up in a half orient and half noble environment had Ellia growing through many years of stressful expectations, and lack of fun. If she wasn't studying, she was fencing with her father. If she wasn't doing chores, she was painting. Her parents wanted her to be the master of everything to make all of the other nobles jealous. Singing, science, math, art, fencing, she was turned into the perfect noble girl. Of course, she simply thought that this was how it needed to be, and she developed the mindset that no one was allowed to be better than her.
Her only friend as a child was another noble girl named Rosette. Ellia saw Rosette as the only person in the world equal to her, and in some cases, even better. Rosette possessed far greater skill in fencing and dueling, as well as mathematics and chess than Ellia. This only forced Ellia to get better, and stronger. Their relationship was much more of a friendly rivalry than anything. When they were both 13, and eligible for marriage, Rosette was swept up instantly, leaving Ellia by herself. Ellia never deemed any of her suitors worthy, and still isn't married despite being a noble. She was seen as 'undesirably self-centered' to most nobles after that, to which she was never given another suitor.
When she was 17, and only a year away from pursuing her own future, thieves ransacked her home, stealing nearly everything they had. The head of these thieves was a man who looked not much older than herself. She was locked in a clash with him, as she fought to protect her home. The man honored her bravery, and pulled his men out of the house with what they had already collected, inviting her to come with them. Ellia declined, and used the thief leaders weakness to get a cut across his chest. The thieves retreated immediately, and cared for their leader.
Because of that event, Ellia decided on her occupation almost immediately. She wanted to kill the thief who stole most of her family's precious heirlooms, and so sought to hone her skills as a fencer. Though she knew it wasn't noble-like in the slightest, and that she was disobeying her mother and father's wishes by doing this, she became a mercenary, moving from towns and villages all over in the hopes of coming across the thief at some point in her journey.
Personality:
Ellia is a woman who only accepts the best from herself and others. Knowing that who she's fighting isn't giving their all will cause her to stop the fight. Seeing a chef who's only pouring half their heart into a meal, she forces them to stop cooking. Her near perfectionist mentality gets in the way most of the time, causing her to get hung over by little things. Ultimately, she cares for none other than herself and her selfish need for revenge. Yet strangely deep down, she merely just wanted an out from her family. To travel, and her job as a mercenary allowed her to do just that. She was living out her dreams, but her senseless need for revenge was clouding that.
