"Milady, our numbers are few. As we are, we cannot stand against the Unseelie should matters come to war." The Seelie knight stated worriedly, kneeling before his queen. "We must have more warriors if we are to survive."
"I know, my knight. I have a plan, but it will require the use of much of my magic. After it is done, I will have to appoint a queen-regent for quite some time." The Seelie queen stood before a stained-glass window depicting victory against the Unseelie in ages past. "We will have to use the Chamber."
"Milady, no!" The knight cried. "It is too dangerous! The army needs their queen. You cannot leave at such a crucial time!"
"You dare tell me what I can and cannot do?" The queen said sharply, before her face and voice softened. "It is already decided. We have no other choice. Gather my council. I shall require their services."
"... as milady commands." The knight bowed and took his leave, spreading the queen's message to the seven fae who made up her council. They gathered in the throne room, where the queen waited for them.
"Members of my council." The queen began, looking over the assembled few. "We are in a grave position. Our numbers cannot hold against the Unseelie if they should attack. There is but one path that we can take. I must use the Chamber." She held up a hand to quell their cries of protest. "I have made up my mind, and you cannot dissuade me. I need you to gather human candidates, as many as can be found. Whilst you do so, I shall decide upon a queen-regent. Go now. Do not fail me."
Such was the queen's authority that the council left without another word, leaving both the throne room and the fae realm, immediately beginning their search. They scattered across the human world, gathering as many humans that could be made fae as were to be found.
Back in the throne room, the queen looked up at the victory scene and sighed. She held fast in the face of great danger. So now must I. No matter what happens, I will not fail my people.

In case you hadn't guessed, this would be an action RP. Yes, it will come to war, the Seelie versus the Unseelie. There will be some time before that, however, so there will be time for our characters to get to know each other.
The Chamber is a magical room of sorts. Humans are placed inside, and the queen uses her magic to transform them into fae. It's a highly draining process, causing magical and physical exhaustion, or worse. Hence why it's a last resort in times of dire need.
Not all humans can be made into fae. The fae can sense whether or not a human is, ah, eligible? So all our characters would become fae, because otherwise, they wouldn't be in the fae realm.
The fae realm and the human world are linked, but only the fae have worked out how to get from one realm to the other. This RP would be set mainly in the fae realm, of course, but the human world can be visited if you want.
So, what d'you think?
